had an appt for a root canal for my daughter who is 13 years old. get a call the day before her appointment for them to tell me that they don't see patients under 15!!!!!!! I made this appt 3 weeks and they call me the day before. now I have a kid who is pain now for another two weeks before she goes to another dentist. I would never use them. read more

Here we go; I was recommended to this Endodontics by my dentist Dr. Patel. This office is in a great location. The receptionist and office manager are very pleasant. I'm very skeptical and afraid when it comes to dentists. Had past experiences that was not great. I had a great experience with Dr Martin. Very friendly takes his time and explains how and what his treatment plan is and assure you of hardly no pain you will or would experience. I have been going to Dr Martin for about four years now. My dentist had told me I needed a root canal and I was so nervous because of all the horror stories I have heard about them. My dentist, Dr. Lipenholtz had referred me to Commack Endodontics and said they are "the best of the best!". Yesterday I had my appointment, when I walked into the office I was happy to see how clean it was! As I walked up to the front desk, I was greeted by the very friendly and professional reception staff. They made me feel comfortable before even seeing the doctor. After a very short wait in the waiting room, I was brought back by the dental assistant who was also very nice! I asked her if root canals hurt as bad as everyone says and she told me I "shouldn't feel a thing and it is quite painless" while that was very reassuring, I of course had my reservations and said to myself, that they probably tell everyone that so that the patient doesn't get more nervous! Finally the dentist came in. I was seen by Dr. Martin, he was such a nice dentist, immediately made you feel comfortable! I asked him the same question that I asked the dental assistant and he reassured me the same as she did. He also was very gentle while using the novocaine to numb the area before the procedure. He said it might pinch and might hurt but I felt no discomfort, and during the procedure I felt nothing as well. After the procedure was done, I was warned that I may be uncomfortable for a couple days due to how deep my cavity was. Well, I am incredibly happy and surprised to say that it has been 24 hours now and I feel absolutely no discomfort/pain. Dr. Martin did an amazing job and I would refer him to anyone I know that is in need of a root canal. Thank you Commack Endodontics (Dr. Martin and staff) for a pleasant experience during a not so pleasant procedure! I feel brand new already. read more

Again I needed another root canal. I chose not to use my regular dentist to do the job which was also covered by my insurance. I chose to return back to Dr Ty D. Osborne. He is very gentle and takes his time when injecting to numb the gums, I hardly felt any discomfort which is very unusual for me. The root canal was completed under 45 minutes along with full communication as to what Dr was doing with the state Of the art equipment. For me to have chosen this Dr and pay out Of pocket says a lot. I went to work an hour later, had no bruising or swelling after the fact. Later that same evening after the Novocain had worn off, I experienced very little discomfort. Just took Advil and went to sleep early. The next day, it was as if I never had a root canal. Dr Ty D. Osborne works from 3 different locations. I've had my first root canal in Harley Street London where the rich and famous go, and I can honestly say his work is at that level. read more

I needed a root canal for one of my molars and I was so scared, anxiety stricken, and nervous that I was considering pulling my tooth because at least I would be put to sleep for that. I decided to try and save the tooth and do the root canal and was referred to Commack Endodontics by the oral surgeon. The friendly front staff was able to accommodate me with an appointment two days later with Dr. Martin. Dr. Martin was so kind and gentile with me. He realized and understood my worries and nervousness and completely put me at ease and did a great job at keeping me calm and comfortable during the entire procedure. I've been to Commack Endodontics several times to have root canals done on 3 different teeth. Two of my teeth had twisted roots that were so close to the sinus wall that my regular Dentist was afraid to work on them. Each procedure was done carefully and there was no pain whatsoever. read more

Went there in extreme pain and living on motrin. Took an xray Dr told front desk make an immediate appt, after he did nothing. Front desk never looked up and apparently i was interfering with their snapchatting. So the earliest appt was 3 weeks. Great patient care there guys Send someone home in pain and tell them come back in 3 weeks. Horrible service and no one in office cared about anything but themselves. 0 stars but i had to give one.
