RELOCATED LOCATION (3.5 stats) Did you know they relocated? For a second, I thought they closed. The store is smaller but it works. If you been to their old location, it's seems spread out and not as organized. With a smaller store, inventory looks overwhelming BUT everything is closer together and easier to browse, get help, and find that you are looking for. It's July aka ComicCon season. I tend to frequent here nearing ComicCon and I don't know why. I don't buy anything. I don't see anything new. But I do like to come here to window shop at their little nicknacks they post in the front area of the store. It's also my connection to ComicCon yearly. A wonderful store with engaging staff who know their comics. Went there for free comic book day and after, I spent over an hour finding gems. As of this post, they recently moved to another spot in the same mall, and I've requested yelp to update their site. The greatest place you can go and shop that has some of the best childhood memories to the Saturday morning and trips to Universal Studios you can find the many things at a comic book store. One of the great places you can go to to find collectors books and those that were from the 70s the classics of the fantastic 4 to the Stan Lee classics of Spiderman. One of the best stores I have been to the great srrvice when I shop at the store they welcome you to the store and help with ordering if you need specials or the large print books. The many collectibles they have are some you can build and many they have are the collectible to the very expensive. The staff at the store are the ones that have the best in selection they can can put specials in a folder for they can hold or if your looking specials. With the great selection they also gave free comic book day that many of the press and writers they come to the conventions comic book stores. Comics and Stuff is one great store the many bobble heads that kids like for the use of Comic Books are used in the many schools and reading programs. Comic books are the great reading material and the use in High School they are used in the art and English presentation the looks of the frontt page to the cells. This is probably the closest location for those who live north of South Bay. It's located in Westfield Mission Valley mall next to Bath & Body Works. My husband and I like coming here a lot to browse and check out comic/fantasy merchandise when walking around; it's always one of our stops when making a trip to the mall. They have merchandise for all kinds of fandoms: anime, Disney/Pixar, Star Wars/Trek, card games, TV shows, etc. The merchandise ranges from blind bags/boxes to full scale cardboard displays. They have a great selection of Funko Pop!s, Squishmallows, and other figurines. There's also a lot of Pokémon cards, both new sets and old, as well as other popular card games. They even have some sports memorabilia! This place is just fun to check out and will most likely have something for everyone. It's a great place to get gifts for friends and family who enjoy a certain fandom. For example, today I bought a Jimin Funko Pop! for my BTS army friend and a pack of Looney Tunes baseball trading cards for myself; the variety of stuff is HUGE. Amazing store! I am not from the area but my son and I stumbled upon this place. We found all kinds of toys, comics, games, and so much more. We ended up buying some Fortnite toys and they were so reasonably priced. I wish we lived in the area we would continue coming here. For anyone in the area it's a must check out! You know, this store from the outside looked really cool and I unknowingly walked in with a cup of delicious gelato (which btw make sure you get from Milkissimo). The employee (guy with the long hair) was unbelievably rude and acted as if I was flinging the gelato everywhere. Told me there's no eating as there is "clearly a sign outside" that says no eating. I came here to buy a box and comic dividers and the guys in there were nice and let me know if I needed any help. Plenty of families come in here as it's in the mall so it can get a little loud and busy but I always smile passing it seeing it thriving in the mall and getting plenty of business. read more

Just bought a $40 bundle of pokemon cards here and it was all resealed product. Didn't even try to make it look convincing and can see the glue they used to reseal the packs. They stole anything that would be considered valuable in the packs. Threw in three reverse holos in each pack and hoped no one noticed. Really bummed because I really liked this store but after searching up reviews for other stores in the franchise it looks like this is very common for them. It looks like their target audience is little kids that don't know any better and that's pretty unfortunate and sick. Please, anyone reading this, don't buy any of their trading cards. We came here today and to be honest it was very difficult to find it he outdoor mall. Eventually we found it and it's a giant store. I would say they have a lot of Fandoms in this store. Anime figures, marvel figures, DC figures. I seen some collectable coins too! Plushies and tons of back issues. Towards the back of the store are also sports collectables too. My husband and I were looking to buy a comic book for my daughter who is really into spooky things. With her being so young I asked my husband to pick one with little violence and fun story line. He went to look and about 10 minutes later got told he wasn't supposed to open the comics... he calmly asked why and the employee there was rude and dismissive... sometimes it's not what you say but how you say it. Then after he asked to him again why he couldn't look at the comics he asked my husband to leave in a very rude manner, pointing at the door. Way to treat your costumer. My husband has collected comic books for 15 years and he was never told not to look at the comics, so this caught him by surprise. My husband didn't yell, he wasn't rude, he just wanted to know how he was supposed to know what comic to pick for my daughter if he wasn't allowed to look at it. Then the guy at the store said we have to open it, meaning the comic, for us, and when my husband tried to understand exactly what that entailed, at which he said his was; it's my bosses policy and I had a really long day, you can leave now and walked away. All I gotta say is that they lost a costumer, just to make a point we wouldn't buy from this chain or store. You shouldn't work with people if you don't have people skills... if you can't answer a question by a costumer that is asked nicely, and get so upset you kick a costumer out for no reason you should not be working at a store. read more

One of the staff members is really rude to customers, really not worth dealing with this kind of energy at a *comic* store

I'm harsh on comic book stores that have "comic" in the name and don't make sure that the actual COMIC BOOKS are worth coming in for. Where to start...well, how about that every single comic book in the store is wrapped in plastic and there are several signs telling you not to open them. Ridiculous. The new comics were just....so incredibly disorganized I couldn't find anything. And so many little "oh if you like this you'll like this" or "oooo it's like a thing on tv" sections that I became overwhelmed with the amount of books barking at me. That's a general thing of this store. It's ENORMOUS for a "comic book store" and has TOO MUCH STUFF. Huge selections of back issues? Great, not organized well at all, and several rows were literally unreachable to any but the NBA-inclined. And when I say overpriced...we're talking not a single comic under $3 except the "ooo look $1 comics" box filled with "image $1s" and other dollar comic reprints worth less than nothing. This is just everything I hate about comic book stores. Had a decent stack to buy, and had to put back most when at any other store it would have been a maybe $18 stack, at comics-n-shit it was $45 Price above all made this just not a great store read more

Service was great but I overheard a female employee complain to a customer with a deep sigh, "wish people would buy something." Then proceed to follow another customer around the store watching him as if he was going to pocket something. Maybe they thought he was a repeat offender? Idk but the customer tried to smile it off, because the stares were pretty obvious. The customer was clearly uncomfortable and I think he rushed his purchase just to avoid further embarrassment. it was first time I've ever seen someone profiled like that and it's absolutely shameful to make customers feel like that. read more

Came in today to buy some packs and boxes. Young kid was looking at the display cases for Pokémon cards when the tall skinny Asian kid working starting breaking down boxes behind the counter and started literally throwing them over the kids head. Once finished he came around the counter and angrily told the kid who was there first to "watch out" and "move" so he could grab the boxes. The kid was there first. If that's the type of attitude this place supports towards people in the hobby I'll take my business elsewhere. Left without buying anything read more

I usually love to stop in here a few times a week to pick up a single pack of cards after work or when running errands, and they have a great selection, though the employees are usually disinterested. But I was very disappointed when I was told there's a dollar limit that I must spend and that I can't just grab a pack and go, regardless of cash or card. Will probably stop coming now. read more

Everytime I come in with my son, Caesar has always helped us out with his knowledge in pokemon trading cards an the variety collectibles my son an I search for. Today he helped my son deciding the best probability of finding a a rare charizard card an my son pulled that Charizard .
