The owner did return the collection only to be thrown into bags and boxes like trash. All of them that were in the original boxes were returned in bags,now the value is greatly depreciated. It was bad from the start,first we were not properly informed of the auction or given the chance to see the display,which was horribly thrown into piles for auctioning. I expressed my concerns and the owner had his goons buy out the auction,which is illegal to do I'm sure! They did not even display all of the collection,he said they were broken or damaged! We have pictures of how they left my home in the owners care,when we finally picked them up there are over 1500 pieces broken and some unfixable! My grandfather collected these for over 70 years to be thrown around like nothing,he knew the sentimental value as well as the dollar value! I was consigning this collection to save my grandfather's family home and now this experience has left me with half the collection good and half broken due to their negligence and disrespectful business ethics.worst experience I've ever seen. I'm contacting everyone I can to make sure this does not happen to anyone else.​

(they have moved since then) to snag some free comic books on Free Comic Book Day. I've been coming back ever since! My son loves to collect Star Wars action figures. I am also a child, so I love to browse and buy the occasional trinket or toy. The old location was a little small and tucked away in a relatively crowded strip mall on the bustling intersection of Hall Rd and Hayes. The drive there was frustrating enough to limit my appearances there. They have since moved to a new location...terrifyingly close by. Now it's super convenient to visit the new store. The strip mall they moved to is much less busy and the location is way easier to spot from Van Dyke. The interior of the store is jam packed with lots of collectibles. They have a variety of wrestling, GI Joe, Star Wars and Funko Pops to name a few things. There's so much more there too (like superhero themed comic books). With as much stuff as Funky Town Toys has, the inside of the store is quite clean and spacious. It's always a pleasure to walk around and look at all of the potential money I can spend on stuff! If you're into old and new action figures and collectibles, you should take a stroll into Funky Town Toys. There's lots to choose from...and if you're looking for something in particular...just ask and they will talk with you...and maybe they can find something for you. Seriously...I love this place. In the same building at Jet's Pizza, where the old laundry mat used to be. Park in the Clocktower common parking area and walk over. Nolan is happy to help you find something interesting. They buy collectibles and comic books too, so go have a chat. Checkout the amazing selection of toys. You might just find something that speaks to you. I'm going to read my first comic in many years.
