Let me say that while more game stores fall flat Fun 4 All exceeded my expectations!! Walking in everything was WELL organized. There was a large section for comics in the middle and the right wall. They also sold playing cards and in the back was tables for group play. Up in the front left was a large selection of games. The smaller packages deck games are locked in cases. (However the staff was super helpful and didn't hesitate letting us check them out) The staff super nice and helpful (but not too chatty and overbearing). Again the organization blew me away! As well as the large selection of games. If you're searching for a great game store to visit start to frequent this one is it.

If you believe your time and trust is worth more than $11.00, look elsewhere…read more I was a sold a fake card by the owner of this store (Rich) approximately 3 years ago. After discussing this on the phone, he agreed to partially refund me for the hardship. Several months later, I dropped the fake card off and he texted me to deny that he sold me the card but that he would "honor the $7 store credit offer". Notably, this is not the remedy we agreed upon on the phone. It is unfortunate that after spending a significant amount of money at this store, I have been met with such dishonest behavior. I write this review only to warn shoppers to be careful of what they buy. If hardship may occur, do not depend on Rich to make you whole. You will be disappointed.

Located in downtown Plymouth, the buildings look historical. Public parking is available but limited to 2 hours parking. It gave us enough time to park and walk towards the GTC. I find the window display from the outside to be intimidating and made me think that the prices of the items they sell are expensive. Surprised to find out later that they sell toys at a comparable price. most of the employees we saw were female...I find them friendly and knowledgeable of what's new and trendy when it comes to toys for the kids and young at heart. saw a lot of plush bears/puppies, and age appropriate educational toys. what's great about the store is they have a point system for every dollar spent. they may ask you to join and record your phone number so they can contact you if the items you're looking for is already available. looking forward in opening my first box of museum series Smiski!

Our goals were specific musicians in vinyl and books , both for children and adults, both in paperback or hard cover was acceptable. A fun fact about Diggers, is that every single item in the store is the same price, $1.25. The not fun fact is that there is no organization other than the media platform. So be prepared to search bin or shelf or table on your own. The items seemed clean and in variable state and age. It was a lot of fun. Everyone found something, even if not looking for something specific. The only staff member is at the sales counter. By not having significant organization or staff to help they can offer such an incredible value. Go there with an open mind and lots of patience and it will pay off.

The Staff was friendly and asked if we had visited before and explained the way the store works (the lack of organization is on purpose). I am amazed he is still in business and or alive. The books were always stacked on the floor. I could never figure out if the owner was on some sort of inheritance stipend/allowance, because the store never seemed to make any cash, and he never kept normal business hours; yet he also didnt seem to own a car or any clothing that wasnt Goodwill/Thrift. He kept a baseball bat under the counter to ward off Ypsi crackheads. Overall, Cross Street Book Shop is worth a visit, but be prepared for it not to be open when you think it should be. It wasn't until my third visit that I found it open, and even then, the owner said he'd been about to shut the shop up for a few minutes while he ran errands until he saw he had potential customers coming in. I could barely get in the door because books were piled everywhere. There are uncategorized books in the aisles as well, though the books on the shelf are in some semblance of order. Literature is grouped together, and non-fiction books are grouped by subject, though they aren't rigorously alphabetized. I have shopped at Friends of the Library shops where paperbacks in really good condition are 50 cents and hardcover books are $2 or $3, so I find the prices at Cross Street Books to be a little on the high side for used books which aren't even all in great condition. Some books are indeed in great condition, but in other cases, paperbacks are yellowing and curling around the edges and are still marked for $2-3. On the other hand, there was an outdoor bargain table the day I visited, and the owner said he often will haggle if you buy a large batch of books at one time. There are some pretty obscure out of print books here, so it's worth a look if you can't find the book you want elsewhere.
