If I could give zero stars I would. Not sure this was a classroom specific problem or center…read morespecific, but my dogs got better care at dog boarding then my 4 year old did at this school. First day, my kid walks in. They sit him down by himself and introduce him to no one. Leaving him sad and alone was terrible. Every kid got a primrose backpack except for my kid. My kid lost about 10lbs. When I questioned the teachers they said they would be extra watchful of his eating, that didn't happen. Everyday I got reports he ate which was not true. The school was very quick to call me when my kid hit another kid, but I got zero calls and information on the DAILY injuries my child came home with. He would come home with cuts, bruises, rug burns. Many times I walked in and saw kids throwing other kids down and throwing stuff at one another while the teachers did nothing. Can't tell you how many times my kid came home with black eyes and cuts by his eyes. My kid got hit with a bucket and the teacher told him to watch where he was going next time. After a few months of this I told my kid to defend himself if he needed to because its obvious his teachers have zero classroom management skills or accountability on the childrens' safety. My kid came home with elevated body temperature and throwing up from heat exhaustion. Picked him up early one day and saw they let him go outside with a fleece on in 80 degree weather. Spoke to teacher outside and all I got is, oh I don't know I'm not his regular teacher. His regular teacher? "Oh we'll monitor that". Have to mention it happened again. Teacher told me he wanted to wear the sweater. Who the hell is the adult here? Hello common sense?! My husband walks in to a kid crying. Zero comforting from teachers. All the kid wanted was to switch centers as he was alone in the center he was in. Would have taken 2 seconds of attention. My kid came home often with poop on his underwear as the teachers would not help him properly wipe. Teachers are fake at least in my son's class. They make promises they don't keep. They lost my kid's stuff and showed zero interest in find it. My son told me they only hug the kids when the parents are around. You walk in the classroom and it's filthy all the time! The tv is always on loudly to the point the kids have to scream over one another to talk. Can't even hear yourself think when you walk in there. Not the type of environment to foster learning and cooperation. Do they even teach the kids to clean up?! They taught my kid a song about killing baby bumble bees!!! Wtf First why are you teaching kids to kill animals? Second do you not know bees are dying at record numbers and there are huge preservation efforts to save them?! Why not teach kids about that instead? My husband talked to the admins about it. Their response, oh you didn't like it? It's a very popular song right now. By all means let's all jump off the bridge if it's the cool thing to do. (Eye roll) Serial killers start off with killing animals. Let that sink in! The language the teachers use was appealing. My husband caught the teacher threatening the kids with "consequences" if they didn't have a good day. I heard the teacher say during circle time to the kids, my goal today is not to yell at you. Do kids need to know your internal dialogue? The teacher also asked me for pointers on how to get my kid to sit during circle time. Umm then why am I paying you?! My son was extremely prepared when entering into elementary school. He continues to excel in his academics, which we attribute to the structure, content and challenge he encountered during his critical development stage at Primrose AR. We have been at Primrose Alamo Ranch for 3 years, since our move to the area. Literally the day we arrived in SA, we took our son to this school and our family has not left until now. The only reason we are leaving is because it is our time. The love, care, and education my children have received from the talented teachers at this school is undeniable. Everything from the organized events, to the nutritious food served, my children LOVED their experience. They made awesome friends and cannot say enough about their teachers. Everyday they inform me of something their teacher has taught them and I love it! Our time spent at Primrose AR, felt nothing short of family. We are definately going to miss Primrose Alamo Ranch, but we are grateful for the time we were able to spend with them.

They have a a bi-annual show which has alway been a blast and very well produced!! My daughter has been apart of Dance Plus for the last 2 years and before then had done for a year (around 7 years old) They have done such an amazing job with her (she is legally blind) and have always been very accommodating. The best part is they Christ centered so the kids are always treated with respect and shown how to behave properly (as well as parents) No "Dance Moms" here lol Can't say enough nice things about it!!!
