I was fortunate to connect immediately over the phone with Interior Designer Laurie Foster, who not only answered my initial questions (delivery to my far-away town? Yes. Do they carry Bassett furniture? Yes.) but also asked me for some detail about what I was looking for. This was on a Friday afternoon, and thanks to a quick email exchange after our phone call, Laurie had prepared to meet me by the time I had arrived at the store the next morning. She has made print-outs of the rug in my living room that I wanted to be in conversation with our new sofa and chairs. She helped by showing me potential fabrics, leathers, sizes, and placement of furniture, and much more. Laurie is a terrific listener, with an artist's eye and mind. Hi Todd, Thanks for your reply... Here's my perspective:…read more I am unhappy with the mattress selection. Your salesperson, Kelly, indicated to me that I needed a firm mattress based on the assessment criteria used by your firm. When I was concerned about the mattress not being right, she said, "Don't worry, we're a family-owned company, we'll make take care of you". It shouldn't matter what documents I signed, if you don't sell quality service or products, it will come back to you. I am a dissatisfied customer at this point. Given the very high margins on mattresses, you'd think that you could do more to help a customer that was given the wrong mattress for whatever reason. At this point I have spent in excess of $3000.00 in chiropractic care and eventually a similar sum in physical therapy (still ongoing) to attempt to repair the damage to my back that this mattress has caused. It seems that you are not standing behind the products that you sell. You are answering calls and emails but your firm is not doing anything to improve the situation for the customer. It shouldn't matter what documents I signed, if you don't sell quality products, it will come back to you (you may notice that I wrote that 2X ). You can choose to hide behind a document or you can help the customer. Ultimately, its your choice... I would think this is an excellent opportunity to show a high level of customer service. I appreciate what Lois has done. However, she was not involved in the buying process until there were problems. Again, it simply seems as if you are standing behind your process and documents instead of providing a quality product or service to the customer. It doesn't matter how much training Lois has if Kelly is selling poor fitting or low quality products. I have been to your showroom 2 additional times to see the quality and firmness of the mattress on the floor. In my opinion, they are not the same mattress. I'd welcome someone to come to my home and cut this mattress open to see if its the same model or if there is a quality issue. The mattress was not stored on its side for more than a week before Lois visited. The pictures that I have taken show the mattress before we stored it on its side prior to Lois's visit. I have stored mattresses in this manner many times with no degradation. Also, I have seen mattresses stored and delivered in this manner many times. I call on you, Todd, to commit to providing a refund or store credit for my purchase. I'm looking forward to you doing the right thing. It would certainly go a long way towards your goal of never seeing a dissatisfied customer. Sincerely, Bill Celline Hi William, I am so sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your mattress selection. I can assure you that as the owner of a family-owned business that has operated in Central PA for over 50 years, it is certainly never my goal to see a dissatisfied customer. We do indeed stand behind our products and want you and all of our customers to be confident that we definitely take care of any structural defects or manufacturing issues and work through these problems with our trusted vendors to ensure that our customers receive quality merchandise. Mattresses and Foundations are Final Sale/Non-Returnable items due to health and hygiene protocols unless there is a verifiable manufacturer's defect. I am confident that you wouldn't want to ever purchase a mattress that someone else had slept on for one night, let alone a few months. Due to the fact that we have you sign a form at the point of purchase acknowledging that All Mattress Sales Are Final, we at INTERIORS HOME go the extra mile to make sure that every possible effort is made to match you up with the perfect sleep system for your comfort and lifestyle needs. All of our staff receives extensive training from each individual bedding manufacturer that we carry and must be certified by our Bedding Specialist, Lois Schultz, who has actually visited your home to inspect the mattress for defects, before they are even permitted to sell bedding. In addition, we have invested in state-of-the-art Body Mapping technology to help aid our customers in selecting a sleep system that is truly a perfect I recently bought a mattress at Interiors. The salesperson assured me that if there was an issue with it, they would "take care of it" as they are a family-owned company. After suffering in pain for months trying to get used to the new mattress, the chiropractor I started going to for my back pain suggested that it could be my mattress... I went back to the store 2x to check the firmness of the mattress I bought. The quality of materials, firmness, and overall construction of the mattress I received were not the same as the one on the showroom floor at Interiors. After numerous visits, calls, and emails... Interiors will not replace or provide a credit. I would strongly urge you to avoid this store as it does not stand behind its products.

Walking in I wasn't expecting much. The retail area is very nondescript and unmemorable. Very basic layout with rows of clothing separated by item/color, and some racks but not many by size. Shoes and purses lined the one wall, mens and children's were on the other side and housewares in the back. Some furniture items were showcased in the front with lesser quality pieces in the back. Little or no display or props other than furniture which is just there. At first glance I wasn't sure if I wanted to take the time to go thru the racks, after all I had hubby in the car (his choice) on a hot summer day. But once I dove in I couldn't stop. The brands and quality were some of the best. I saw Michael Kors over and over. Many items were like new or with tags. In about 15 minutes time I had an entire cart of items to try on. With my recent weight gain I'm finding less and less that fit (damn you covid!!) so I'm having to constantly shop to replenish my closet. I will say that the prices were higher than average for thrift and more in line with consignment, which normally I would bulk at given the retail space is so blah. But the quality was exceptional and I found several key pieces that are great additions to my wardrobe so it was worth the extra money. If I find the time I'll post some of the great items I bought. Just an example of pricing: tee shirts are in the $3.99 - $7.99 range, purses $9.99, jeans and shorts $7.99-$11.99, some blazers, coats and dresses were $19.99 They do have offers if you sign up for their email and I was able to score 5% just for asking to sign up (and mentioning the current discount the customer in front of me used). The staff were happy to give it to me without question and also to tell me how many people my purchase today fed ( a whooping 23!). It's shopping you can feel good about and also very worthy of your sell-able donations. Worth mentioning: no Sunday hours, easy to find BEHIND the Weis on 462 in East York beside the Petco.
