Possibly the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. We had to place towels (which were surprisingly clean) over the floor to walk to the bed because the carpeting was so stained and soiled it has a tacky quality to it. We slept on top of the bedding and used our own pillows/ blankets because, based on the condition of the floor, we couldn't stomach thinking about what might have actually slept in the bed. Due to Covid the pool, hot tub and breakfast areas were closed. This information was not relayed to us when we called prior to booking. In all honesty it wouldn't matter if they had been open as we would not have utilized these amenities based on the condition of the room. Pics are of carpet. There was literally no unstained area of carpeting. Pic of the sink has hair from someone else. I did not get a pic of the bathroom door which appeared to have water damage all along the bottom which made me wonder if a possible flood contributed to the state of this room. We would have left as soon as we checked in but were exhausted after traveling all day and this was just a spot to catch a rest before continuing on to Seattle the next day. Finding other accommodations would not have been safe for us given the amount of travel we had done that day. I will say that the young man who checked us was nice.

For the price you pay and location, the hotel took care of our needs while visiting Yakima for a tournament. The renovations are a nice update. The free breakfast provided a quick and easy way to feed the family before heading out to game time. Front desk service is friendly and efficient!

Pretty standard hotel... Although the bed and pillows were amazing! ...I wonder if I can pack 'em in my suit case?? Haha. I highly suggest staying here if you have pet. They are pet friendly with a little grassy area and pet dog station outside. The room were very clean and didn't have the pet-room feel to them. The indoor pool was pretty fun and clean. It's open 24 HOURS!!! Let me repeat.... 24 HOURS! That was probably the best part. They have a free breakfast hour with pretty good food.... but ends really really early. Boo.

A nice place to stay. The only thing is getting a window room to the highway you can hear car noises, but other then that it's a normal place to stay.

Came here because the red roof inn was a bad area to be in, and glad we did choose this place! The people were kind and it is more renovated. The rooms are up to date as you would expect from renovations and the area it is in is decent as there is a dennys and a sharis as well as teriyaki and a gas station. It's put in a convenient area and everything was walking distance. Rooms were spacious and nice, they are pet friendly, and complimentary breakfast is always a plus! Hopefully, 3 years down the road this place is still clean and comfortable! Would stop by this place for an overnight stay when traveling as its not that busy and it is relatively quiet!

Be ware of this place! My husband and I just spent 4 nights here and after we checked out we…read morereceived an email claiming we had smoked in our room and were being charged over $300 for this. I am severely asthmatic and allergic to smoke so we always intentionally pick places that don't allow smoking on premises at all. We called the hotel directly and the employee was incredibly rude and immediately just transferred us to her supervisors voicemail. We left a message and then also called Hilton honors directly as we have status with them. They claimed that the hotel was refusing to remove the charge and there was nothing we could despite having status with them and staying at Hiltons all over, even the Hilton next door to this location on 3 previous trips. So be warned that if you stay here they have devices in the room that you're not notified of monitoring for smoke and these clearly don't work properly as neither of us smoke anyways. Also made us wonder and worry about other undisclosed devices in our room that may have been monitoring us.

We didn't know what to expect from downtown Yakima but we were very impressed with our visit to the…read moreHilton Garden. We stayed for a couple of days and at first we were intimidated by the crowded parking at night, but they have underground parking that you can access with a room key. This was great since during the day above ground was pretty hot. When we checked in the people at the desk were very friendly and they melted when they met our pups. The lobby has a snack bar/sundry/gift shop where you can purchase everything you need at reception. There's also a beautiful two sided fireplace that I'll bet is great in the winter, but they didn't light up during our visit because of the warm temps. Also in the lobby is a restaurant/sports bar. My sister enjoyed the steak while I got a salad. There was a nice chill vibe with the visitors sitting around and relaxing. The only complaint I have is that our poor server was running around as he was the waiter, bartender, and expediter while there was just one lady in the kitchen. He seemed overworked and were worried about that poor man. Our room was a very clean suite so we got 1.5 baths and a separate living room with a pullout sofa bed. It was great to be able to spread out and the wifi is very reliable. The hotel is near the conference center and the state fair grounds and there are a nice mix of restaurants and shops. There's even a nice brewery/restaurant on the next block. There were a surprising amount of grassy areas in the neighborhood to walk the dogs, but we limited the distance we walked from the hotel because there are a lot of sketchy homeless people down the block. We felt safe all around, except when we talked to some of them. We're no slouches because we've lived in sketchy neighborhoods in LA, San Francisco, Oakland, etc, but there was a weird vibe with these folks. Still I'd happily stay at this hotel again. Within the walls, it's a great setup.
