It was a really nice hotel not like five star nice but like four star nice is very clean. Very roomy came with its own kitchenette no View unless you want to see Target or Ross so it would've been nice if we got a view on the other side of the building of the mountains housekeeping was very nice and friendly the lady at the desk I had to call for a little things and she was super friendly. The only thing that really went bad except for the view was just the fact that the TV kept messing up and she had to come in and re-channel the TV an auto search and that took about 20 minutes, but it fixed the problem. We were here for three days. I would definitely suggest staying here. It's nice having like a junior suite like we did versus staying somewhere that's just beds in a door. Oh I will say we are at a different elevation. Yes, but I wonder when the last time they changed the filters in their hotel because we're super sensitive to that and at night time we noticed that we gagged a few times in our sleep by lack of clean air. I don't know it's weird to explain, but I bet you the filter had something to do with that. read more

This was def an interesting stay. I checked in fairly early and was told the elevator was out. I was able to switch from the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor. Room was nice. Small basic kitchen, table, and living room. Bedroom was just right and the bathroom a nice size. Plenty of parking available too. read more

What a gem! We had a queen suite which had a small kitchen with eating area as well as a huge bathroom with full length mirror. Very clean almost looks newly remodeled. Bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing! Check-in was fast and since we stayed in December they decorated nicely for Christmas. Restaurant in shared parking lot, has EV chargers available also. read more

My most recent stay was our 2nd visit to the Ledgestone - we love it, and were really happy with every single aspect of our recent 2 night visit. The service is incredibly helpful and friendly, the hotel is super clean - the rooms are spacious, nicely decorated very comfortable. Most of all, the rates are very reasonable. And, a great location - convenient to everything and plenty of parking. In addition to our room - we had several family members staying at the hotel at the same time, as we were all in town for a funeral - 5 other groups - all of them were really pleased with their rooms, their experience and the service - it was the buzz over coffee together how comfortable everything was. We had a great two night stay. The rooms were nice and clean, and the staff was helpful. What was even better, however, was the response I got from Caitlin at the desk, when I called a couple of days after I had left about my 5G WiFi that I had left plugged into an outlet in my room. She immediately had housekeeping check and, having found it still there, assured me that they would mail it to me, free of charge. Five days later, I received it in the mail. The laundry machines were free and the room itself was clean. The staff were AMAZING to, they were all really friendly and always ready to help. I hope to stay here again. We stayed 4 nights in June 2023. It is a nice prooerty with good sized suites with separated bedrooms and a nice kitchen. Very good design for a longer stay. There are approx. 150 rooms spread out on 3 floors. There are very few people staying here, so it is quiet. The major problem is that there is only 1 person working here at any time of day. From 6:00 am - 10:00 pm 1 person works both the front desk and also cleans rooms. After 10:00 pm the office is caged off, and there is 1 security guard on premises. Maintenance and cleaning is poor and staff are overworked and stressed. A bigger staff is needed to allow it to be run well. Homeless were trying to set up a camp against the outside wall and the desk person called the owner. The desk person had to go outside and attempt to move them along while guests waited in the lobby. The desk person received a call while we were there and had to leave to deliver a remote to a guest room. Another guest and I went to the lobby and rang the desk bell on the counter several times. I was looking for some coffee and dishwasher detergent refills. The employee came out of a room down the hall where she was cleaning. She told us we should be calling on the phone if we want help instead of ringing the bell on the desk. Our room had garbage in the nightstand, hair on couch and chairs, burned out light bulbs, a missing remote, and a funky smell. We didn't ask for help because it would have overwhelmed the one employee. read more

What do you do when property management re-caulks your shower and you can't shower for 48 hours? Well if your Mitzie and GBF#1 you go to Yakima for the weekend. Since we couldn't use our shower and I don't go a day without a shower it was time for an adventure. I checked online for hotels and found Ledgestone Hotel had only one review and no ratings I checked their website and saw that it was a new hotel so for $119 a room (AAA discount) I thought it was a good deal. I called made reservations for 2 rooms and Saturday morning GBF#1 and I were up, packed and on our way. Check in time is at 3:00 pm but since the place is still so new trust me I'm sure you could check in earlier. The lobby is sleek and minimal, not sure if that's because it's still new and they haven't furnished everything yet I'm not sure. Front desk staff was nice and friendly and check in was smooth and painless. We had rooms right next to each other which was nice. I walk in to the kitchen area, with a fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher and table and chairs. Next you walk into the living area, with a chair, love seat, coffee table and flat screen tv. Behind the door is the bedroom and attached bathroom. The bedroom is pretty minimal, a bed, two night stands and a flat screen tv. The bathroom looks large and is with a bath shower combo and huge closet. Everything sounds great right? Well looks can be deceiving, yes they can. The love seat was hard as a rock, I couldn't get comfortable sitting on it and the same with the chair. The bed was way too soft and so were the pillows. The tub from the doorway looked deep but it wasn't is was shallow, not good for soaking in after a day of wine tasting. Oh and the hair dryer talk about a piece of crap, it started smoking on me and I'd assume it was brand new a new hair dryer should not start smoking. But it wasn't all that bad no it was't. For the price and the area it was great. Right across the street is a Target and grocery store and next door is the visitor center, it's just a short drive to historic downtown Yakima and about 20 miles from the Zillah and the Rattlesnake Hills wine region. I was actually considering booking a room to head back and hit the wineries in Prosser for Columbus Day weekend, but than I realized it's about 50 miles from Prosser and that's a bit far to drive after spending all day wine tasting. read more

Very clean hotel. Precise landscaping, shady areas and dog receptacles for your pooch. Plentiful parking and well lighted outside areas. Interior is well lit and has comfy seats to rest. Workout center has one of each, a very clean area. Vending machines for Coke's and snacks if you forget. My room was very clean, nice temperature, and had everything you might need. I will be here for thirteen weeks and I'm so happy! Very quiet hotel. I've slept comfortably every night so far. Feels close to home. read more

We had a great stay here at the Ledgestone Hotel. My boyfriend and I were in town for a wedding and booked a room for two nights. The staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. We found our room to be spacious and clean. It had a living room, separate bedroom, and a kitchen that included a stove, fridge, sink, and microwave. Some perks of this hotel include free parking and free WiFi. In addition, the hotel is conveniently located right off the freeway and across from Target and a bunch of restaurants. The only issues that we came across during our stay were that there was no vent in the bathroom, which made the bedroom hot and stuffy, and the AC vent was not centrally located in the middle of the room so it took awhile for the bedroom to cool down. Overall, it's a wonderful hotel with excellent service. I definitely recommend this place! read more

I would give a zero if there is an option. Hotel front desk insisted on charging me another reservation (for the same check-in/check-out) I was not aware of when I called weeks ago to cancel my reservation due to an event that was postponed because of Covid-19. After she confirmed that I called to cancel the reservation on April 19th, she then turned around and said I never called. Hello? She went even further to 'give me an example' asking me if I were to attend a funeral in Portland during Covid 19, would I cancel the reservation? A FUNERAL she used as an example! I found it unacceptable. If there is an error where the reservation was mistakenly duplicated, from a customer service standpoint, one would just cancel the reservation and refund the charges. Conversations were calm and rational until she brought up the funeral example. No swearing but definitely heated. I sure hope if the management sees this post, they would better exam their customer service policies and retrain their staff on how to work with their customers. And I wish the conversation was recorded so the management can understand the story behind. If Ledgestone Hotel Yakima were to allow this kind of customer service to continue, it is a damage to your reputation and your trust from your customers. There will be no need to reply. I had been staying there 5 months working as a travel nurse at the local hospital when they kicked all of their long term renters out for 3 days for a basketball tournament. Fine the reservations were made year in advance. But when they did it to me a second time I decided to take my business elsewhere. read more

I have never reviewed on Yelp, but this was so egregious that I had to post something. I had made a reservation more than a month in advance to stay for two nights while attending a conference. Before I could check in they called me to let me know that someone had extended their stay and therefore would be unable to honor the reservation. The real kicker was that my stay had been prepaid through Egencia and they said that they had found another hotel for me. The other hotel was horrible! They used to have smoking rooms and didn't bother doing anything to cover the smell! Additionally, the hotel was $40 less per night. I called the Ledgestone about getting the money back, since they were supposedly sending over the money to the other hotel, but never even received a call back to resolve the overcharge. I will NEVER stay at Ledgestone. This is a reprehensible way to treat potential guests. read more

I've found my hotel in Yakima!! This place is designed for an extended stay patron, but it's perfect for anyone. We arrived here on 7/28 and greeted by friendly and accommodating staff. Even though check-in is at 3pm we were pleasantly surprised that room 113 was ready for us at 12:30....BONUS, since we wanted to freshen up before heading to Maryhill Winery for a concert that evening. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. My companion is a mega tightwad, so it was a little hard to convince him that we should splurge on paying an extra thirty dollars a night, but once we stepped inside our room, he never mentioned the price again. He couldn't stop raving about the size of our room and stated that this was bigger than his apartment, when he lived in Seattle. He loved the living area with the flat screen TV, kitchenette, and large bedroom with yet another flat screen TV. For me, cleanliness is key and this place didn't disappoint. The linens, pillows and towels were all crisp and clean, no stains on the carpet and the bathroom and fridge and every other thing inspected were wiped down and clean. The next time I'm in Yakima, this is the place I'm going to stay. Don't miss.....the supplied blood orange shampoos and soaps, they are most invigorating in early mornings, along with the free coffee in the lobby. read more

Ledgestone met our needs perfectly when my family and friends of 10 people and I came in from Chicago to attend my graduation at the Yakima Sundome. Very close proximity to the expressway and shopping. Very close to the Sundome. I was able to get a fabulous group rate through Sarah as I had booked in advance. We found the rooms to be spacious, the sofa bed to be comfortable and all around a good experience for a night. Breakfast was something we missed but if anyone would've liked to cook that would have been possible. My only complaint was with a payment issue that had occurred with one of my guests by a Ledgestone Employee. Being the one who had arranged for the group rate, I was charged and had to get this resolved as the issue was not mine. Sarah was completely receptive to the fact that I was not going to ask my relative to pay me the funds that the hotel had charged nor was I going to ask them to call in to get this resolved. It was a problem on their back end and while it took several months to clear, they went ahead and refunded me the charge. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing a hotel in the Yakima area. The others just don't compare. read more

So here is the low down. This is a newer hotel in a convenient location. The rooms are spacious with a kitchenette, sitting area, and separate bedroom/bathroom. That is all nice but I rate a hotel on how good of a nights sleep I get, since that is obviously why one stays in a hotel. My first night I was jolted out of my sleep at 1155 pm from something hitting my ground floor window. I typically hate being on the bottom floor of hotels because of safety issues but I had my gun with me and wasnt too concerned but definitely startled awake by the loud noise. It took me a few seconds to realize it wasnt someone coming into my room, rather the sprinkler DRILLING my window. Every 30 seconds the sprinkler will drill my window (I live in Washington, I know what rain on the window sounds like and I find it quite relaxing, this was NOT relaxing. It was OMG what the hell is going on!). After listneing to the sprinkler for 10 minutes thinking it would shut off at any moment, I called the front desk and told them the situation and asked what time it would be shut off. The response, "Oh, I didnt realize the sprinklers were even on, sorry. I have no idea". So I laid in bed counting tiles on the ceiling, ok honestly there arent any tiles but you get the idea, for another 15 minutes. The sprinklers finally shut off around 1225 a.m. But the fun continues ---- at 0600 I am woken up by a fire alarm. The alarm went on for about 5 minutes before it was shut off. It was amazingly loud - which hey - is great if it was a REAL alarm. Testing the alarm on Monday at 0600 wasnt the best time, IMO, to test the system. I was pretty ticked off by this point as I had a very important interview in the morning and being woken up and lying awake for 25 minutes and then getting woken up 5 hours later wasnt conduicive to a good nights sleep. I went down to front desk and asked if they could fix the sprinkler head as it was obviously broken. The gal up front looked at me like a pig looking at a wristwatch and said she didnt know but she would talk to maintenance. I asked if she could move me to another room and she said that they couldnt because they were full. I then retierated that I did not want to be woken up at midnight again but she did nothing to reassure me. Next night - no sprinkler hitting the window but YUP you guessed it - another fire alarm test at 0630. Awesome. This may be a newer hotel but I would stay somewhere else where they seem to care about their guests rest. No continental breakfast or complimentary newspapers. Tried using their business center but their computers were so slow I gave up and used my iphone. For being a newer hotel, I didnt think the beds were very comfortable. Great flat screen tvs and easy parking. Meh. I will stay somewhere else next time I am in Yakima. read more

This place is perfect more for a family stay rather than a couple or individual. The hotel is more known to host people on long term stays thus the huge kitchenette and living area are pretty sweet! Our room was superiorly clean and quiet! I almost wished we could have stayed an extra night just to use the kitchen more. The location is pretty close to the freeway, theres a Target and diner nearby to fill up before hitting the road. Probably one of the best places to stay for a few day while in Yakima. Most apartments in Seattle aren't even as big as these rooms! Happy Stay!!! read more

The room is clean and fairly new. We were surprised to find a two room suite when we walked in the door. Flat screen TV's and a full kitchen. On the negative side, it's only a queen sized bed and apparently no kings are available. There is also no breakfast available and no breakfast places within walking distance. We had vehicle trouble and were stranded here so that was a little bit of a problem. All in all it is a nice, clean and appears safe.The hamburger place across the way had a great guacamole burger. read more

The materials are on the cheap end (curtains, shower curtain, sheets. etc.), but it's what one expects. In my room, the sink was unusually low, but I don't know if that was my room or a hotel quirk. The bed was also on the hard size. That said, check in and out was smooth, and front desk and housekeeping staff were pleasant. I'd definitely stay again. read more

The room was very spacious, mini-suite level spacious, and it included a full kitchen. Everything was new and modern and -wow- even the wifi seemed rock solid. The staff was friendly. It was clean. The next night due to unforeseen circumstances we had to stay an additional night in Yakima. My mother wanted us to at a different hotel for the same price, this one blew it away in every aspect. We stayed here about a year ago, in one of their two room suites on a sweet deal with our toddler. It's basically a perfect hotel for your basic travel needs: spotless and clean, perfectly located in Yakima (right by the highway, minutes from downtown). It's a stones throw from the river trails if you want to go for a walk on the greenway. Lots of great services nearby too, but this is (as others noted) not a pedestrian heavy place. But what in Yakima is? If you're traveling to the Ledgestone from out of town, and Yakima or Eastern Washington from out of town, and didn't expect to drive all over the place, I have no idea what you were expecting to begin with. Yes, there can be highway noise if you're on the highway side. Ask for a room on the other side if that's an issue. They took us in at the very last minute for the entire week. The rooms are just like a small apartment with a full kitchen, living area and bedroom in a separate room. The bathroom is pretty big. They only clean once a week so that was a bit of a hassle. We had to take out our own trash and go up to the front desk to exchange towels. They do, however, have a high quality free laundry facility. All you have to bring is your own laundry soaps. No pool. Not too many kids and not very much noise. You pay for this, though, because it's pretty expensive. read more

We stayed here for one night and were very pleased with the suite. They offer a Military/Government Rate which was appreciated since I was visiting my husband in the national guard who is in Yakima with the firefighters training for a while. The suite was clean and large with a small but fully functioning kitchen including a two burner electric glass too stove. The lost a star in my rating since they do not offer breakfast of any type (full or continental). They did have Seattle's Best coffee at the front downstairs. Service is very minimal and there is no real cream for coffee, but they do provide Seattle's Best Coffee. Free laundry is provided The workout room only has three cardio machines. This place is very nice and very modern. Very nice and professional staff. The rooms are very clean, and have kitchenettes and mid size fridge, dishwasher, sink and all. Flat screen TVs, cable, free wifi. Pretty large bathrooms. Separate bedroom from kitchen / living room area. I had a one bedroom and the couch had a fold out bed too, so that could possibly save somebody money out there. The price gets cheaper the longer you book your stay. It pretty much is set up as an extended stay hotel. Target, Big-lots, and some other stores are across the street and Bob's Burgers is in the same lot. The only thing that sucks is the location, it's not really on a normal street that is close to the rest of the city. Its kind of in a pocket of town that is annoying to get to. Its good you got that little shopping mall but its right next to the highway and has some road noise if you are on that side of the hotel. No good views of Mountains or rivers just a parking lot, a highway, and some dirt and gravel out back that leads to a fence and some industrial lot. I do recommend this pace though because it nice and modern and very professional. It has an apartment feel to it more so than a hotel room feel. There are also washers and dryers on site and a business center to print things. The room smells fresh, the linens are quality, the beds are comfortable, and the towels are quality. What more can you want? Doesn't smell like smoke, or other peoples cooking, or a public bus seat. I felt refreshed staying here and a little bit of uppity. :-) ha ha read more

Came for state basketball tournament. No expectations. Great clean rooms with flat screens in each. Large bathroom. Staff is A++ Ask for personal choices for eating, better than the "list". Tho the list is fine. Just beware if you are looking for daily room service and a concierge this is not the place for you. Free WiFI but with a hotel full of teenagers it was usually full at night. The Seattle's Best coffee is flowing all day. Nice walk along the river called the Conservation, near Humane Society and Kmart. I will stay here again. read more

A great find! Seemed like a brand new hotel, very clean and modern. It had a full kitchen--which I was not expecting. It was a suite with separate bedroom/bath from the kitchen/living area. GREAT price! Quiet. Friendly staff. Easy to find off the freeway. The Yakima Greenway trail is nearby and totally worth checking out for cyclists/runners or walkers. Only downside: no continental breakfast and no hot tub/pool. I was bummed about those amenities. read more

Great hotel, and even better price! I went to Yakima with some friends to do some wine tasting. While searching for a hotel on Orbitz, I stumbled onto this place. It almost seemed to good to be true when I booked the two rooms, one single queen and one double queen. Well it turned out to be better than I could've hoped for, and just as the pictures showed. The rooms are great with 2 LCD tv's, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. I know the hotel is barely a year old, but the place was spotless, as if we were the first to stay there! The room was as nice as many of the condo units I've been looking at in the Seattle/Bellevue area! Full kitchen with a full-size fridge, stove, microwave, and sink. It was a bargain with the AAA rate, and we were shocked at how nice it was for the area. We all plan to hit Yakima winecountry again in the future, and this is where we'll be staying for sure. I just wish they had a pool, but oh well. The concierge is also very nice, and were able to book us a tee time at the Apple Tree Golf Resort nearby, as well as provide us with a wine opener so we could pop some bottles. =) read more

This is the place to stay in Yakima! Clean, mini apartment-like studios, clean, free wifi, great price, and helpful staff! Seriously, when I walked into my single room I was shocked to find a full kitchenette, living room, table, large bathroom and even a flatscreen in the bedroom. We stayed here for 2 night for our tournament and found the room very large like a one bedroom apartment. It has a kitchenette with the basics, 2 stove tops, dishwasher, microwave etc. Because of this reason I guess, there is no free breakfast offered at the hotel. The room is very clean and spacious. Kids was disappointed that there's no pool at this place, small exercise room with 1 trend mill, an Elliptical and 2 bike machines(one doesn't work too well). We got the top floor which was suggested because it can be quite loud with the foot traffic. read more

This place is better than the Fairfield next door. Gave me an upgraded room for free, and it's huge (600 square feet) with a full living room and kitchen. Full size fridge too. Separate bedroom area, with a door to give you privacy while your spouse or kids are watch tv. They have more channels to watch on tv than the Fairfield. The Fairfield isn't bad, but has smaller rooms, limited tv channels and the TV has to be reset by maintenance because the sound goes out every once in a while. read more
