What was equally concerning was how the situation was handled afterward. I was told someone would follow up, but despite calling the hotel numerous times and sending multiple emails, I received little to no communication. It took repeated effort on my end just to get a brief response. When I did connect with management (Kenyon) , the interaction was rude, dismissive and lacked urgency, which is not appropriate given the nature of the issue. I was also told at the front desk that a resolution would be provided, but there has been no follow-through. Regardless of where you stay, situations can happen. What matters is how they are handled, and in this case, the lack of communication and accountability was disappointing. I would strongly recommend that future guests carefully inspect their rooms upon arrival.. or just choose another Hotel.. Not worth the hassle and problems.

Tldr: housekeeping theft…read more My first problem here came when I needed a shower. I turned the knob to the hot indicator but the water was cold. I tried the room phone but couldn't reach the front desk as it would ring then hang up. I tried dialing the main number and when it was going to transfer me to the operator, it then said extension invalid and hung up. So cold shower the first morning, and that evening I managed to get help and it turned out the indicator was all wrong, you had to twist it to cold for it to be hot, and if you keep twisting till you reach hot it was boiling. However the bigger issue was a wedding gift I had for my friends was stolen by housekeeping on the second day while I was out, a fancy small gift bag I had left next to the TV. I didn't realize it until the third day when I was preparing for the wedding. The manager said they stand by their staff but would file a report. There was $200 in a sealed card envelope plus white chocolate bars. The manager said its a case of "he said vs she said" and thus nothing can be done. Horrible.

Steak was inedible, I ordered a medium rare and received a well done, it tasted like it was freezer burnt, and they tried to mask it by over seasoning it. The wings for our appetizer were good but a little dry. We ordered crème brûlée for dessert and that was laughable, again frozen and overcooked, the custard ate like cake and the brûlée on top was not hard at all, again masking it by dumping cream and berries on top. I was so disappointed, we made reservations here because we were staying in the hotel and it was easy and didn't require us to leave the property, it was out 20th anniversary dinner- which was put on the reservation booking and they didn't even acknowledge it. The room was a double bed. Room 208. It was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean. The room has a fridge and a microwave. They also provide a Keurig with coffee pods. If you want tea, they have some downstairs. The restroom: great water pressure in the shower. Hot water always available. The pressure in the sink was horrible. I ended up having to wash my hands, brush my teeth and wash my face in the tub faucet. They do provide toiletries that include shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and bar soap. Breakfast is complementary. On the weekend it was from 7 to 10. They have hot and cold items. The hot items included sausage, scrambled eggs and potatoes. They also had oatmeal. Cold items included cereal and Greek yogurt. They had fresh fruit. You can always make their famous Texas shaped waffles. Parking is available on site and complementary.
