The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the check in process was easy. There was no tub, stand up shower only which is fine by me but just an observation. The price was really good so no complaints there. I had 2 issues with this place, and they are pretty minor but could be major. 1) the toilet paper was 1-ply and felt like I was wiping with sandpaper. The TP was so thin that I could have easily come out with a pudding pop on my finger if I wasn't careful! Sorry for that visual. 2) there were no outlets by the bed. Well they were behind some panel that I couldn't access without ripping a piece of wood off the wall because the alarm clock was there. Speaking of which, thanks to the asshole who left the alarm set for 3:30am and at full blast! Why are alarm clocks in hotels still a thing? Use your phone! Now to some this may be no big deal that there are no outlets by the bed but to us CPAP people, it's a necessity. Luckily, I had a mini extension cord with me. Room never got cleaned despite asking several times. They only offered "points" for inconvenience and compensation. A/C worked when it wanted to. Refrigerator didn't work. Wasn't fully furnished. Half the lights didn't work. No tub stopper. Front desk personnel was almost invisible and front desk not clean. Sometimes a bell on the desk but most of the time no bell. People would come in and have to holler for someone to come out to help them check in .Half cups of water sitting on counter. Hallways looked like a war zone. Only 4 valet carts that were cumbersome and hard to get in the room with the heavy doors. Will not stay here ever. read more

The second star is because the manager immediately changed my room when I got in and discovered the tv didn't work. Had he not been friendly and helpful it would have been one star. This hotel has been heavily used and it shows. The tile in the lobby looks like somebody took a hammer to it. There is an odd smell and everything is dinged, dunged and scratched. The a/c spits out a slightly cooled air at the same speed and temperature regardless of the setting. The bathtub made me frightened I was going to fall through because when I stepped in, it sank and groaned (no I don't weigh six hundred pounds). The most disturbing thing was the water in the commode when I flushed. The replacement water was more yellow than what I flushed. Consequently, I was reluctant to drink coffee or eat food prepared in their kitchen. Driving up, I knew it was not going to be good because it was overgrown and unkempt in appearance. I will not stay here again and seriously considered forfeiting what I paid for the one night and getting another hotel. I did check into the Hilton the next day. Marriott, the only thing left to do with this one is sell it to America's Best Value. If you're looking for a place to stay, do not choose this hotel. The only shortcoming is the hotel is under renovation - 3rd floor had paint scraped off walls and doors, rooms were bare of artwork with many hooks and holes visible. It was definitely rough. The front desk staff was excellent. However, someone on the staff took or lost my very expensive medication after they assured me it was put in a safe place. The manager does not communicate and only sends a snarky response when I reach out for a status update. I contacted Corporate and they contacted the hotel, which was unhelpful. They have been "investigating" since May, and it is now September! I was asked to provide a receipt for the medication which I did immediately, still no response other than "investigations take time ma'am". I am sure this hotel has insurance for these purposes or can afford to reimburse my $400. I had no problem with the hotel quality, but the lack of our accountability and responsiveness is extremely unacceptable and unprofessional. read more

This is a very nice Fairfield hotel. I have stayed at hundreds of properties and while this property is not right next to food or shopping it is close by. There are great restaurants in the area and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and the hotel has been refreshed. The water is hard but after a slight scratching on my shower head all nozzles were shooting out water. The pressure was good and the temperature was perfect. The breakfast was okay, I am not a fan of Turkey sausage, and the eggs were typical hotel eggs. The orange juice was good and this was a very pleasant stay. Just what I needed to prepare for my full day of business. I also like that there are not a list of additional taxes, a simple occupancy tax and that is all. Definitely worth your time and money to stay here. read more

My Marriott status says I have 171 nights logged by June. Needless to say I travel quite a bit and always stay in Marriott properties. This is NOT your grandfathers hotel. It is the new Fairfield concept and it is absolutely beautiful. Apart from being exceptionally clean and well organized, the floor layout is very open and spacious. I absolutely love the new blue and white color scheme and the open floor plan. This property just feels higher end from the moment you drive up into the parking lot. It isn't just superficial either, the front desk agent was amazing even at 10:30 at night right before his shift ended. Very very rare. The room is exceptionally clean and the new king suite layout is very open. The beds are firm yet very comfortable and the climate control actually works! Even being very close to a highway it is very quiet in the room. I have not heard a single person in the floor above below or next to me. Again very rare in a hotel. Perks: all Fairfields offer a great breakfast in the morning free. They have a good selection of food and snacks in the bar next to the check-in desk and a great business center. The rooms all have a good fridge and microwave. The best part they have DirecTV in the bedrooms! Here is where I get weird. Travelers all have their thing. Mine is that I need a room to get very very dark. Some hotels fail absolutely miserably at this and you have to turn off every electronic device or you feel like you are being scanned by aliens in your sleep. Everything in these rooms is quiet and there is minimal light with all the lights off. The refrigerator does not sound like an 18 wheeler is idling in the front room. The air conditioner does not whistle like an airplane getting ready to take off. It's pretty simple, if you are trying to stay anywhere in the woodlands area this is the spot! read more

She was friendly and even called our room to check and make sure everything was to our liking after we got settled in. The room was beautiful clean and comfortable, the ground looks nice and the breakfast was great. And absolutely worth the price and more. Yikes! My initial Review was for the wrong FI&S, so I finally out the right Yelp page :) I recommend this location. We stayed here over Christmas/New Year's 2013/2014, while visiting family in the area. It's a brand new inn (opened in July), so everything still looks new. The plus side of being new is fresh everything - towels, furniture, paint, quiet atmosphere, etc. however, we've already noticed a few things not up to norm that may want to be attended to, for the sake of attracting customers. Of course, the good points: 1. The staff was great! Guest Services all the way to Housekeeping and the Breakfast Attendant (she was FABULOUS!!) made this trip even more worth it! They always had a smile on their faces, and truly tried their best to answer all our questions. Just being able to have a conversation with them, and they didn't radiate "rushing". 2. The everyday breakfast buffet was such an added plus! Eggs, sausage, and the oatmeal were made fresh early in the morning. There was also cereal, fruit, and bagels for the "cold" bar. It was nice not having to worry about satiating our hunger in the morning. Instead my family and I were able to chat and plan our day over a full stomach. 3. I roomed with my grandmother, so we were in a handicap room. First floor, down the hall from the lobby and seating area. You would think that we would hear all the guests' racket, but nope! Since the building is new, there were no more than 15 or so guests staying at this four-story establishment. Thus, quiet as a mouse :o) Our room was spacious, the beds comfy and plenty of lamps and sky lighting to illuminate. The bathroom was also big. Only a few down points: 1. The bathroom shower did not have good pressure. The management was aware of this (apparently this was a problem with the handicap rooms only). They were working to fix this dilemma, but it was taking longer than expected. 2. The bed mattresses sat down in a wooden frame. I'm pretty sure I hit my knees more than a few times - and it hurt like heck!! Bumper guards, or filing down, would be my suggestion. The staff were all such a pleasure! I'm sure this will be our go-to hotel for future visits! read more

They have great customer service. I was delayed because of the weather and they were accommodating. My two issues were I was put in a room next to the conference room on the first floor - Room 104. The conference next door was very loud. The next issue was the breakfast was not very good. Overall the hotel was a nice stay and clean. The location is great if you are in area as freeway connections are nearby. read more

We had a wedding to go to in Spring, TX so we booked this hotel for it being so close to the venue and a Marriott. We got a really good rate thru the Marriott rewards app (less than $100/night) and I was a bit nervous considering some of the other reviews about possible issues due to Hurricane Harvey. With that being said, we LOVED our room. We got an early check in and once we arrived, they upgraded our room! Everything seemed brand new and we had no issues. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, including Christine (who helped us open our bottle of wine) and another gentleman (I didn't get to catch his name) who had a very contagiously positive attitude. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Houston! read more

I just sat in traffic for the past 2 hours after leaving this Spring location and I'll tell you what... I couldn't wait to write this review. I am no stranger to customer service whatsoever having over 10 years experience so for me to write a review is saying something. I have been to many 5 star restaurants and establishments from California to New York that didn't provide this level of white glove service. Our company used this locations conference room for a 2-day training course. I swear every time a sprite or coca-cola was chosen for consumption it was immediately replaced by your staff. This locations staff and management was on the ball like I have never seen before. I'm astonished by the way I was treated... I feel like a Prince I tell you. Just horrible. I am going to dispute the charge for the one night I spent there with my credit card company. Fairfield Inn offers a 100% guarantee if you are not satisfied. It is advertised on their tv in the room all the time. It is promoted on their website. Well, trust me, they will not honor it. I was far from satisfied and I complained to the manager. He made excuse after excuse and refused to honor this guarantee. I have filed a formal complaint with Marriott and, like I said, I will dispute the charge. read more

I have only made two or three reviews. In the beginning it was great, staff was pleasant when my wife and small child checked in. Every time we walked through the door we were greeted by staff. The building is undergoing some issues due to the storm and the day staff is accommodating of the fact. As I write this however my family and I are sweating and highly uncomfortable, our air conditioner went out earlier today while we were out looking for houses in the area. I called the front desk and to my surprise the lady on the phone seemed unbothered by the situation and informed me that she would see what she could do. As time past and the room is getting hotter I went downstairs to see what our options where as we have to be up at 5am. The desk clerk with a very unpleasant and sarcastic demeanor answered my question of "what are my options?" By saying there's nothing she can do. She then left the conversation so I would go away and now here we are helpless and uncomfortable and my only recourse is to write my issue on yelp. This hotel used to be a good one. The past three times they kept getting worst. I understand the hotel is recovering from the hurricane. Bathroom sink in the last 2 stays wasn't working well. The air conditioning wasn't working the last time so they had to switch my room The bathtub is not draining well this time. I sent an email to management experiencing my frustration this morning and I have yet to hear a response. Last think was last night. When I checked in I asked to buy a bottle of water and they said they were out. Needless to say, I will not be staying here again. Update. Hotel manager sent an email "apologizing" however he believed a fabricated story his from desk told him and emailed me that statement as it's a fact. Also. They have a laundry room. It takes quarters. But they don't have a quarter machine nor can the front desk provide quarters. I am so sorry for not thinking of having quarters on me while I travel. We stayed here in Sept. 2015 for a wedding. We were greeted as we walked in at 1:30 AM by a very friendly and helpful front desk agent. The room and hotel were immaculate, the entire staff extremely warm and helpful. The price was fantastic and included a very nice buffet breakfast. The hotel was conveniently located on I-45 yet was so well soundproofed you could not hear ANY road noise. If you have to stay in the Spring area I highly recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed. read more
