    Awesome Jacuzzi tub!
    Vickie S.

Our check in was awesome! The first thing I noticed as we entered the lobby, was a fresh, NICE clean smell. NOT Pine Sol! Both front Desk staff were very nice! Great Job & Christy & AJ We "Spun the wheel" and got an extra 1000 points towards another stay! The jacuzzi room was wonderful after a long drive! We will definitely stay here again!

2nd room we were given, door would not even open from vandalism!

I honestly cannot imagine having a worse possible experience at a hotel. This hotel is an absolute nightmare and I cannot discourage others from staying there enough. My son and I arrived at Comfort Inn + Suites North Ft. Wayne at 11:40pm on 9/16/22 and were given two keys to our rooms in what we were told was a sold out hotel. Luckily, we had booked our stay over a month ago--right?. However, we entered our rooms to find them occupied by other guests! We went to the front desk, and the clerk Nate Lesser had just started his shift; he had no idea what was happening. He called the Assistant Manager, Amanda, who talked to him for quite some time. We were given 2 other room keys for rooms that were near our original, already-occupied, rooms. The rooms were completely vandalized, the doors would not open, and the door jams were destroyed (see pictures). Back we went to the front desk we went; the desk clerk tried and could not open either door himself. The next sequence of events occurred over the next hour: -The desk clerk called the assistant manager back; she told him to call the 4 other hotels that they work with so Comfort Inn could be billed the difference in room prices directly. There were absolutely no available rooms at these 4 hotels -A room was found at Holiday Inn Express North Ft. Wayne at twice the price. Holiday Inn would not bill Comfort Inn directly. I am told that I need to pay double myself. At this point, I am over 4 hours from home, in an unfamiliar town, with nowhere to sleep, being told I need to pay an exorbitant amount of money for a place to sleep for the night! -I told the assistant manager that this was completely unacceptable. Since Comfort Inn was willing to pay the difference to remedy their mistake when contacting their partnering hotels, they should cover this one as well (whether that was using petty cash, coming in to write a check out to the hotel, or using cash from the drawer). The assistant manager said that her boss would not allow that; I suggested that she then call her boss -The desk clerk hands me a piece of paper with the following written on it (Robbie-(260) 241-6714) and asked me to call. -I summarized the above situation that had occurred over the last hour and a half to Robbie over the phone, and was immediately threatened, and told that he was going to call the police on me for telling his clerk to steal money for me. To paint an accurate picture, I am a senior citizen, in an unfamiliar town well-after midnight, over 4 hours away from home--and now I was being threatened! -I repeated multiple times that I did not say anything of the sort to the clerk, but suggested various alternate ways of fixing their mistake to the assistant manager over the phone. -Robbie was completely irate and kept threatening me with police involvement. At this point, I told him to go ahead and call the police and the newspaper also, and he can explain that he is threatening a senior for listing solutions to their colossal mistake. -I handed the phone back to the desk clerk. He himself told Robbie that I did not ask him to steal money for me. Robbie said he would call around to find a room for the price I paid over a month ago, which was now half the going rate with a soccer tournament in town. -10 minutes later, the call is disconnected -I called Robbie back 3 times. He refused to answer -I waited an additional 5 minutes for a possible call back from Robbie, but he did not call back. At this point, I told the desk clerk to please refund my money, went to Holiday Inn Express, and paid twice the price for a room there. The next morning, I checked my bank account to find that they charged me again for the two rooms instead of refunding them!! I then had to call my bank to file fraudulent charges against Comfort Inn + Suites North Ft. Wayne. This was--by far--the worst experience that I have ever had at a hotel, and I'm sure the not-so-happy folks that experienced us barging into their room after midnight would agree. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

Well managed. Super great staff. That's an important reason we stay only at Hilton. Yes, it's an older building. It's Fort Wayne, Indiana, folks. There are no new buildings. This is clearly the best hotel if you're staying in town. That said, it is true, I expect Hilton to invest in this property to maintain brand standard. There is no better alternative nearby, but hurry up and step it up. The building is old and musty, and Hilton knows it. We stayed in the 1 bed-1bath King Suite and it's a lovely layout. Great furniture. Very clean. Once in the room, it's a Hilton Hampton Inn. Until in the room, it's Fort Wayne. The staff accommodated my family's every need. The lobby is lovely for late night work while the family sleeps and the pool is super kid friendly. Plus, nice breakfast area. I do think Hilton knows it's time to invest in the infrastructure updates. Until then, give the staff a raise. Big time. Management, front desk, and maids. Your people are making Hilton look good in an old facility. It speaks volumes for Hilton's quality of management, Conrad Hilton would be pissed about the corporate's inattention to the need for an update. Conrad would also give each of these staff members a free vacation for making him look good. I expect Hilton to act accordingly. Veritas! Harvard '24. Thanks from the family.

Did you know: The founder of Vera Bradley -- the brand behind those ubiquitous flowered, quilted…read morebags you see slung on every Hoosier woman's shoulders -- created a hotel? Technically, it was co-created by Barbara Bradley Baekgaard of Vera Bradley, and also Provenance Hotels, known for their boutique hotels. I guess it makes sense to have a Vera Bradley-themed hotel in Fort Wayne, because Vera Bradley's headquarters are in Fort Wayne. Don't tell Vera (or Barbara), but I find VB purses and bags a little dowdy and old-fashioned, and I thought I would step into The Bradley and be greeted with a hotel decked out in the same frumpy aesthetic. But no! The hotel is sleek and modern, yet there are subtle details that feel touched by Vera Bradley's influence. For instance, my room had pops of coordinating colors and patterns mixing together to create a homey but chic look. The whole hotel is like that, really. They could have gone really heavy-handed with the floral prints in this hotel, but they restrained themselves, and the hotel is all the better for it. Beyond the aesthetics, this cute hotel has nine specially designed suites, a rotating art gallery and two restaurants, including a rooftop bar. I didn't get to check out the restaurants or bar, but I definitely am the next time I stay here. (And there will be a next time!) A quick head's up for people thinking of staying here with kids. Kids are absolutely welcome here, but The Bradley doesn't really have the things that a parent and kids might want, like a pool and free breakfast. The Bradley would make a great getaway for adults-only stays! One small thing that vexed me during my stay was that I couldn't take the stairs to go up to my room, which was on the second floor. There are emergency stairs on each floor that go down, but you can't go up them because they are locked on the lobby floor, and unless you enter a code, which only the people who work there know, you can't open the stairs door. My personal ethos is to take the stairs for anything less than four flights, so it really perturbed me to have to use the elevator to go up and down a single floor. But I had no choice! They have an OK fitness center here, with a couple of treadmills and one elliptical, which blessedly was free every time I visited the fitness center. There are also some free weights and cold towels, which were refreshing. One thing to keep in mind is that valet parking is the default. I am a cheapo and don't generally like to use valet, but the only other option was a public lot a couple of blocks away, and that was only slightly less expensive than just doing valet. So I just did valet. For the most part, the valet attendants were quick to get my vehicle, except for check-out morning, when it felt like everyone was waiting for their vehicles at the same time. The Bradley is located right in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne, and it within easy waling distance to what seems like everything, including The Landing, a historic district that has multiple independent shops and restaurants.

The restaurant downstairs was great too, bartender is awesome, had dinner there one night and breakfast each morning. Food was pretty good! Not overly priced either. It's in a great location where you can walk to lots of restaurants! Valet was always friendly, only one afternoon I couldn't park so I ended up circling for a while. The rooftop bar is cute. Gym was small but had everything you needed with nice equipment. Overall I really enjoyed my stay!

The check-in counter is located across from the restaurant and next to the lounge area. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The interior is quite spacious, with ample seating. This location was convenient for a few hours. The price was reasonable with $15 charge for self-parking. The elevator was clean until you walked out onto the floor, which had a weird smell. The room was decent, but the bed and pillow quality were subpar. The room was very dusty, including the counter, bedside table, and lamp. But it was a quick turnaround for me. I wish I could remember their names, but props to the delightful young man who checked us in and the bartender who served us and laughed at our Dad-jokes. The next day, while I was going here and there, well after I had checked out, no matter who it was, I was reassured that I was welcome back to get some water, use the restroom, borrow a pen, ask for attraction recommendations etc. I could probably nitpick certain things, but the people - that's what it's all about.
