My family and I were all beyond satisfied with what we experienced during this visit to Southern Tré. Here'a what stood out during our dining experience: * Our shared Shrimp appetizer was super tasty. * My 6oz sirloin was cooked to a medium, mouthwatering perfection and tenderness. * My father and I both enjoyed the blackBerry mixed beverage. (The name escapes me now but I recommend asking about it) * The southern decor and lighting made for an enjoyable and relaxing ambience. * Our waitress was pleasant, on top of things, and treated our toddler well. * The pricing was surprisingly fair for the quality of meal we received. * Our family mentioned several times (during and after) how great the seasonings and flavors were and how much our expectations were exceeded. In short: If you're near downtown and would like a nice sit down meal or a solid spot for a special occasion; instead of driving to Spring Hill for one of the chain steakhouses, I highly recommend you instead give Southern Tré a shot.

I was absolutely blown away by Karen and what she has created here! She was a total gem. We traveled in from Los Angeles, so we were extra taken with how gorgeous this venue was set against the natural beauty of Tennessee. The barn itself is stunning, both modern and classic. From the outside, it looks majestic. Then once you step in, the warmth and thoughtfulness really made us feel comfortable right off the bat. The outside bar was great for taking photos with the hills as the backdrop and to mingle with other guests. Once we took our seats at the ceremony site, we really got a feel for how absolutely picturesque this location is. You cannot help but be emotional in a place so beautiful so it was perfect for a wedding where everyone is primed to cry as it is. For how elegant the ceremony was, the reception was a blast in equal measure. The staff kept us well fed and topped off. I also really appreciated that you could have a conversation with the person next to you without yelling, yet still have some super fun dance music playing on the dance floor. It was so fantastic being able to dance our hearts out and then take a break outside to cool off and relax. It was extra special to have them accommodate the amount of Angelenos present and have the World Series playing at the bar for us. Everything just felt so personal! The night ended with fireworks and the staff went above and beyond to execute them perfectly. We have thought about this wedding and this venue every day since because it was simply so fun and so well done. Hoping I make more friends in TN so I get the chance to possibly return to this venue one day!
