I started unpacking the kitchen, so they had an idea of where things went. They didn't try, they just unpacked random stuff and threw it in places. Appliances were disassembled which could have easily been put together. My cake stand was in two thrown on the counter top with a box over the glass in an unsafe manner. They said they were scheduled to come back tomorrow and when I called to complain about how the place left they said the job was done and I should've said something before they left. I told them they should leave instead of waiting for me to return after picking up my daughter they told me had to pay. Which understood I'll pay for the day, but the packing job was not done. These are scammers. It's been a long time since I dealt with a business like this but this one beware.

Please consider this a warning, along with the many other reviewers sharing similar experiences. It's not a coincidence that so many of us are leaving one-star reviews. No, we're not "black, angry, cheap, "Groupon customers" ...we are individuals who were scammed by this company. I feel pretty sad for an individual who has to scam other people (who make honest money) in order to make a living. I guess this is what people have to do these days just to make it in this economy. My experience was so similar to other reviewers that I genuinely thought I had already submitted a review. We shared nearly identical situations, which strongly leads me to believe this a scam. The arrival time was nearly four hours outside of the promised window. When they finally arrived, it was in a U-Haul cargo van, not a proper moving truck. This lack of preparation is exactly what causes unnecessary delays which he will hold your items until you pay. It's disappointing that people who work hard for their money are put in situations like this. No one should have to question the integrity of a business they trusted. If you are looking for a trustworthy company, I recommend Two Men and a Truck, they actually come prepared with the proper equipment. Once my belongings were in their possession, I was pressured into paying more than the original quoted price. During the move, several of my belongings were damaged. After the move, the owner acknowledged the damage and promised to reimburse me. Instead of honoring that promise, he stopped responding to my calls and messages and ultimately blocked my number. I have been left with no choice but to pursue the matter in small claims court. Based on my experience, I found the customer service to be terrible, communication to be unreliable, and the way I was treated to be unacceptable. I regret hiring this company and encourage anyone considering their services to do thorough research before trusting them with their belongings.
