Unfortunately, she must have spun a yarn for her boss because we get a phone call three days later from Mederi in Crystal River, Fl stating they will no longer take care of my husband. My husband tried to explain what happened but Mederi didn't want to hear his side. Sounds like Mederi is hard up for help, any help, even if it is subpar. If you want kind, professional care look elsewhere people. You deserve better care than what Maderi offers! Jennifer needs to come clean and tell the whole truth.

The entire operation and everyone involved has been professional and focused on providing the best care possible. Dad experienced some medical problems (completely unrelated to the care provided by Visiting Angels) after a year into the VAO care program which resulted in changes to his living arrangements. VAO was understanding, cooperative, flexible, helpful and supportive in making adjustments to Dad's care program. It has now been nearly 18-months since VAO began providing services. We have never had a problem with billings, services, care-givers, or compliance with the scope of services provided by VAO and the outstanding staff. Dad has been cared for by one person for the overwhelming majority of time - but there has been a limited number of days when other caregivers were required to fill-in (due to illness, doctor visits, family emergencies, etc) for Dad's primary caregiver. The "substitute" caregivers were each well informed of Dad's condition/personality before arriving and each provided good, friendly, quality support that was welcomed by Dad. If you're ever in need of a reliable home health care service to provide care, companionship, light housekeeping services, assisting with meal preparation and clean-up, personal hygiene and grooming support, and a compassionate friend to help care for a loved one, I would certainly strongly recommend VAO. My father was there about 60 days and passed from Sepsis that went untreated despite my continued concerns of what I know now was a sepsis rash. His organs litterally shut down it was horrible. My mom was in the same facility and was oxygen dependent after a shower one evening they failed to reconnect her oxygen for about 12-15 hrs. We ended up having to call hospice in which the facility was terrible about and I had her removed to hospice care so she could be treated with the dignity she deserved. Please please please don't make the same mistakes our family made the heartbreak and guilt I live with daily is awful.

They are getting payments from clients but not paying employees. Employees who dared call the labor board were reprimanded and fired, and others that refused to work until paid were replaced and pushed out of their job as well. Do not hire on with them.
