Breakfast never has bacon until Sunday morning I'm guessing been here all week looking for bacon and just seen it today Sunday morning, ask for cheese she said that they don't serve cheese, But The management could be encouraged to be improved. Blonde hair lady with some authority behind the counter with the attitude (got mad because we got two of the yogurts for the kids because we missed breakfast) was just too much she was loud about it in front of all the other guess in the lobby Shut it down they are getting yogurts out and the breakfast is closed down already. We have been in that hotel for the last week. We have not been accommodated at all. The door has a big crack in it where you can see out in the hall through the crack. If you do not put the latch on the door, the door will be open . There are German roaches inside of the room. My daughter asked them to change the room and instead they gave her 2cans of spray to spray the bugs . Breakfast was over at 9 o'clock through the week we had gotten there at 9:15 did not know it was over at nine. We asked for some milk and she told us we couldn't have any so we got two of the yogurt and she got mad.. And this was my best hotel. I always came here. read more

I figured this hotel wouldn't be great, but I didn't have many options for places to book as it was late at night during my road trip. If you can, avoid this hotel at all costs. It has clearly never been cleaned or maintained or upkept whatsoever. I found toe nails and white powder all over the floor in my room, clearly it hasn't been vacuumed in weeks. There were stains on the chairs that you can draw your own assumptions based on the photos. There were roaches crawling around EVERYWHERE outside. 0/10 read more

I prepaid for a king suite room in February. Upon checking in on April 8 and going up to our room I realized we were assigned a double queen room, not the king suite room I had previously reserved and paid for. I notified the front desk of this matter and they stated no king suite rooms were available despite my reservation. Upon further questioning they reported the cost for the double room was about $200 less for our 5 day reservation. When I requested a credit on my credit card for that amount the front desk stated they would have to get approval from the general manager. After 2 days without communication from anyone at the hotel I questioned the front desk regarding the status of my request, and they reported it was refused by the general manager. Upon returning home I contacted Choice Hotels customer service on 4/15 and reported this matter. They said they would file my complaint and request for credit with the hotel. After no response I contacted them again on 4/18 and they reported the hotel had not responded. I contacted them again on 4/23 and the same was reported. They did offer me 20,000 points for my inconvenience but could not refund me the $200 because they reported that would have to come from the hotel. The hotel stole $200 from me, I will never stay at this hotel ever again, and neither should you! read more

People were nice but the hotel needs major improvements. Thankfully the linens to the bed were clean but the rest was scary! No center shade to block any light at all from the window. Lamps were filthy, carpet looked to be from the 70's and the pull out couch had a large stain of unknown origin on the back! Went to the Blues Festival that we go to every year and so glad we didn't spend too much time in the hotel! Two stars only for the staff. read more

Room had an chemical smell. Anything metal in the room had rust. Nice bedding. Chairs were gross. Bathroom dated and yukky. AC ran all night though we tried to control it. Stayed 2 nights... If it hadn't been such a hassle to move our stuff... Would have found another place to stay. Wifi in and out all evening and day. No room service when we returned after having been out all day. No fresh towels, beds not touched, no vacuuming or replenishment of basic supplies. Front desk stated we had to request room service/fresh towels if we had wanted. She also stated, all of the hotels do that now???? Hmmmm.... don't think so. Breakfast was good with ample offerings. Recommend? Big No!!! Run... Don't walk to another place. read more

WORST HOTEL, DON'T STAY HERE IF YOU WANT A CLEAN ROOM AND BATHROOM!! We arrived around 2am and Jackie at the front desk was so wonderful and helpful. That is the ONLY good thing i can say about the place. We changed rooms 2 times (3 different rooms 413, 202 and finally 222). All of them had urine on the toilet seat, hairs every where (bed, sink, shower) and stains in the pillows, sheets, and towels, rotten food in the mini fridge and so much dust it could choke you. The microwave was disgusting. We finally had to ask for cleaning supplies so we could at least have a clean bathroom. Each room had a rank smell to it. Paid$102 to have to sleep in dirty sheets and clean our own bathroom from when the last guest used them. This place needs to have a health inspector come in and make a surprise visit. I'll stay in Macon, Ga next time, and that's saying something. I've added a few photos. We got tired of taking pictures of all the things wrong with the rooms. read more

Stayed here with a friend for one night, this place is DISGUSTING. There were stains on the walls, the floors and on the kitchenette countertops. Not to mention the bugs that were all over the bathroom and the rust everywhere. There were skid marks in the toilet from whoever stayed here previously. I have stayed at multiple other Comfort Inns before, and this one is by far the WORST. DO NOT STAY HERE. The only reason this place gets a star is because the front desk staff was nice. read more

If I could give this hotel less than one star I would. I don't know what the rest of the hotel rooms look like but rom 201 is disgusting. The room barely had clean sheets. The carpet is filthy, the tub is filthy, and there was no shower curtain!!!! There are mystery stains all over the room! The desk chair has a bunch of odd white stains and sticks in it! The curtains are broken, and the phone is covered in so much filth that there is no way it's been cleaned in 20 years especially during covid! If I catch Covid because of the incompetence of this hotel staff I will sue them! Also the hotel staff wasn't overly friendly, she wasn't wearing a mask at the desk or when she brought up the shower curtain. This hotel needs new staff and a major update before ever allowing another guest to stay here! read more

The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel hallways smelled dusty, musty, and smokey. The room was ok, upholstery with some stains, kitchenette was ok, just overall not the best, but good enough for a one night stay. All of the parking lot lights around the hotel were out, so the place looked closed. Lots of construction vehicles in the lot. As we shuttled stuff in, there were lots of guys (some looking like homeless people) walking in and out to smoke outside in the dark lot. The side door to the lot was broken. Lots of elevator traffic of guests with cigars and cigarettes in their mouth, music playing loudly on their cell phones, going out to smoke in the dark. It was so bad we just decided to repack and leave. We got a lovely room down the street at the Hampton Inn. It was clean, well lit, and quiet. It was worth the expense of eating the cost to not stay at the Comfort Inn in Thomson. read more

Drove through town and stayed here a night. The room was nice enough for the price. Nothing exciting. Some of the paint was peeling in the bathroom. Our suite had a two person jacuzzi tub that was NOT inviting at all. The bottom of the tub had a non slip mat for the shower above, but the mat was dirty and mold around the faucet. If you are going to advertise a in room jacuzzi at least make it inviting that we would want to use it. read more

I booked 2 rooms for my family and one room was totally UNINHABITABLE . One of the worst hotels myself and family have ever experienced. The desk staff and maintenance staff were helpful and pleasant, one of the only positives about this hotel in Thomson Georgia. The person in breakfast area is not a morning person. One of the rooms was UNINHABITABLE due to a horrible odor in the room: smelled like vomit. It was Master's week so a replacement room was not available and I was able to reimbursed for the UNINHABITABLE room. The staff tried to cover the odor, after I reported it, by spaying a chemical and placing a small machine in the room. Other unacceptable conditions included a false fire alarm that the hotel staff was unequipped to manage as well as a security guard that spent time lounging in the front lobby. The side access door was left ajar, not locked and secure. Dirty and unsanitary conditions included a very sticky floor in front of the elevator on the second floor, ac cover that was dusty and falling off, bathtub security bars were very poorly installed and the flange covers were left unsecured & nearly falling out. The whole hotel had a very unkept and dirty appearance that cried for a through cleaning and at least a coat of paint. Neither myself or family would ever stay in a Comfort Inn again. read more

Run down and trashy. Pool is in the middle of the parking lot and the water is green. They should shut it down. The suite has a kitchen area, but not one dish, glass or fork and no table for eating. Furniture is stained and cheap. Drapes are hanging askew. Tv reception is horrible. WiFi is ridiculously poor. Rooms not cleaned unless you ask. read more

This hotel should receive a zero rating. We booked four rooms for 4th of July weekend (visiting family). The first night was pretty uneventful bc we were all pretty tired from the trip. However, the next day the stay at this place fell apart. First, one of the rooms smelled of rotten eggs and in the same room a roach was found. This sent two children running for the hills. Next, it took nearly half a day to get fresh towels for all the rooms. Third, numerous customers complained to management and called the police bc of suspicious activity on various floors. We only stayed bc we were assured the problem was resolved. The last night of our trip the same individuals were back at it again. It was pretty easy to discover that criminals were renting rooms to further their drug and prostitution activities. Fourth, the night manager was completely complicit and even lied when asked if something could be done. Fifth, the shower leaked water onto the floor in our room. I hope it doesn't seem like I am piling on. I give establishments good reviews bc it helps business but this situation was completely ridiculous. It doesn't take a keen eye to see what is going on here. Very disappointed. read more

Got a room here for one night because our fuse box needed replacing and we were without power. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. ( We got a king for 2 adults) But the shining star of this room was the bathroom. Huge jacuzzi tub!! Even though it's a hotel right here in my hometown of Thomson, we're seriously considering grabbing a room again just for the bathroom, lol. The hotel was also quiet and the enviroment felt safe. No entry without a key. Would highly recommend if you are coming through town on business or find yourself in a situation where you need a room for a few night. read more

After being turned away by the Hampton Inn across the street, on the evening of July 11, 2018, even though I had a reservation, I was greeted with a friendly smile when I arrived at Comfort Inn and Suites. I was exhausted after driving 8 hours, it was after 9:30 pm, and I had just been told that all rooms in the area were booked. Even though I had a reservation at Hampton Inn, their associate, Jonathan, just shrugged and told me he had nothing, and sent me on my weary way, with very little hope of finding anything at that late hour. Brittany, at Comfort Inn and Suites, also told me all rooms were booked. However, she asked me to take a rest, and she would see what she could do. She, along with Cheryl, the manager, made calls to guests who had yet to arrive, and found that one party did, in fact, need one less room than they booked. Brittany called me over and quickly helped me book that room. To my surprise, it was $135 LESS than I would have had to pay at Hampton Inn! Bonus! And, even more impressive.... the room was on the first floor, was tidy, clean, and perfectly accommodated my needs! Everyone on staff was super friendly and the breakfast selections were above and beyond my expectations as well. I praised the staff both verbally and via email after I left. The staff was as appreciative of my comments as I was of their fine customer service! I highly recommend this hotel! I will be coming back! read more
