The pool was located outside and was nice. They had an exercise room with equipment located on the ground floor. They served a complimentary breakfast in the breakfast area. The employees and staff were friendly and helpful. They checked on us when we got to our room to see if we needed anything. The difference in treatment was obvious, and it set the tone for what became a clear case of racial profiling. She repeatedly insisted my card was "declining," even though the incidentals had already been charged. I attempted to show her the transaction on my account, and she refused to look, raised her voice, and became confrontational. When I asked for the manager's contact information, she slammed his business card on the counter instead of handing it to me respectfully. Instead of resolving the issue, she escalated the situation by calling the police on me -- a paying guest -- simply for asking for clarification and proper service. I was then banned from the property based on false accusations, including claims that I threatened her. These accusations were completely untrue. My 17‑year‑old, who never even stepped out of the car, was also falsely mentioned in her story. When I attempted to speak with the manager, he repeatedly cut me off and hung up on me instead of listening. The entire situation was mishandled, disrespectful, and rooted in bias. No guest should ever be treated this way, especially when they have done nothing wrong.
