He gave us a price for each option, once we decided he keyed it right in and never tried to up sell us on anything. (You want to lose my business then make an up sell attempt on me) The job took him about 2 hours to complete and he gave us periodic updates on it. My only let down was that he wouldn't let me make him a plate for dinner! Come on, the guy missed dinner and anything of interest he had for a Friday night for some sweaty lady!

The second technician was sitting in the truck, not assisting, for the last 35 minutes of the visit. They were correct when they told me the carpet would dry in 24 hours.
