He and his assistant gave me an efficient cleaning that felt gentle yet also thorough without questionable pain (as some dentist visits in my past). What could they do better? Make sure the company who makes their products gets it right and when they don't work diligently to remedy the problem not just for that customer but for others. I never should've had to go in 4-5 times just to have a cavity taken care of and three of those five were a complete waste of time where what they had was incorrect. At least I wasn't charged more and staff was nice except reception there was a young lady who was nasty to me over the phone when I was desperately trying to accommodate my schedule to theirs, just a nightmare. Won't be back to the Coronado location but I will give another location a shot become prices are so low! read more

I had an appointment with the the first one was fine... they professionally sent me a confirmation text which I confirmed and went in. scheduled another one and I never got a confirmation text so I never CONFIRMED My appointment. Im a forgetful person I have a life I work on the days I don't work I have two kids. One is a newborn and the other is 6. It's A LOT of work. My point is I'm forgetful VERY. They wanted to hold me liable and charge me 25$ when they had done it twice. I NEVER confirmed I went through my emails and texts because they tried to gas light me an say they did and when I just said "it's fine I'll schedule somewhere else" the little girl hung up on me..... VERY PROFESSIONAL... I'd recommend somewhere professional where someone doesn't so easily let their emotions get the best of them. Dentist was really cool . Be prepared to feel like you are on a conveyer belt in a factory! They are fast and good but it sure isn't quality. You're in a large room sectioned off into cubicles and you can hear every conversation, every moan of pain and all the teeth grinding equipment. 1. They thought they handed me care instructions and a prescription. They did not. I had a root canal. 2. 23 hours later no RX at the pharmacy. 3. 3 hours later the RX is ready but they prescribed a medicine I'm deathly allergic too. They first thing they asked me was if I had any allergies. And I'm not talking epi pen allergies. I'm talking Stephen Johnson's disease. Look it up it's pretty nasty way to die. If you need good dentistry, this place is ok, but don't expect any privacy, don't expect any accuracy and when they screw up don't expect a heart felt apology. Went to a scheduled appointment for a routine cleaning and left after waiting over 30 minutes. Save your time and go somewhere else.

They seem to be very nice there but i went in for dentures and the 1st time i got fitted, i went in and they lost my dentures, and the 2nd time they didnt know when they would be done and the 3rd time, they finally were there and i kept telling the girl i didnt like the way they fit, but they obviously didnt listen cuz the next time i went in to pick them up i still didnt like the way they fit, they made me talk funny and i couldnt even eat because they didnt fit correctly, it looks like i have chewing tobacco but on my top lip. I ended up keeping them thinking i could get used to them but i never did, i still use my old ones and i am stuck with them for 5 years unless i want to buy my own, i do not recommend you go here if you need dentures stay away! read more

Sent my mother in to get her teeth checked because she was having some issues. I was working and told her she would be fine and they would take care of her. Boy was I wrong. Sadly the staff was more excited to be hanging out in the back then taking care of there customers. My mother (74) went to sign in. The front desk handed her a tablet to fill out her information. My mother expressed her concerns that she isn't very good at using a tablet. Girl just kinda smirked and went to talk to ladies in the back. So my mom tried to fill it out but had complications and again tried expressing her frustrations with it and instead of receptionist helping her out. Was rude and unhelpful. My mother ended up leaving without seeing the dentist. I know it is hard to find great people for good positions but shouldn't hire lazy and inconsiderate people. Do better! read more

My crown came off so I yelped to get an idea of what might be available nearby. I chose Comfort Dental and was quite pleased. While the exterior of the business is classic Menaul Blvd (you can read into that however you'd like), the interior was quite nice, modern, and professional. All the staff members were as friendly and engaging as anywhere I've ever been. I watched them interact with a variety of folks from all walks of life with decency. My dentist was Nathan Horton. Easy going, professional, and proficient. I will return in the future and use him. It was that comfortable. X-rays & check up, plus re-gluing my crown only set me back $108 as a cash client. That was about 1/2 what I anticipated the cost would be. read more

Make sure you block out 2-3 hrs from before your appointment time to when you leave the chair, otherwise doctors/staff were friendly.

The technicians and the customer service people were all very polite and sweet. The doctor I saw, however, was not. I wasn't interested the n an upgraded service So The Dr Refused to allow the expected service and even made a sassy remark about not turning in the likely unwarranted ex rays they took. read more

I have had 2 sets of dentures in my lifetime and wore them until I was age 51(1995). The second replacement dentures worked very well until they began falling apart. They were about 23 years old. Then I went to Comfort Dental to have replacements made. The staff was second to none, especially Dr. Mike. He was always patient and listened to my concerns. However, after MANY office visits (as many as 10), I am left with some pretty dentures that do not fit and I am unable to eat with them. My insurance company was billed about $3200 for them and the dentures are unusable. I don't know what corporate idiot thought it would be a great business plan to open multiple dental offices in Albuquerque, but position the Lab that actually makes all the dentures in COLORADO! What were they thinking? I was a chairside dental assistant in my younger days, so I have some professional knowledge. My son had the same problem with his new dentures. He didn't tell me they weren't made in Albuquerque. They were made in Colorado a year or 2 before me. He couldn't wear his dentures at all. I wish I had listened to him. I wasn't told the actual work would be done in Colorado until it was too late. I am appalled to know this practice continues. I am notifying my insurance company of this situation. read more

This was our first visit to Comfort Dental. My 95 year old mother broke her lower dentures and we needed to see someone as soon as possible. We got an appointment the very next day. The dental technician Justine was amazing! She was kind, patient and worked well with my mother. Fortunately my mom had an old rarely used lower denture that Justine did everything to modify that old denture to make it wearable for mother on a trial basis. No aggressive sales approach to buy new dentures. Only an offer to make as many adjustments as needed to try and make them as comfortable and functional as possible. Kudos to Justine. Don't go to this dental office! I went into comfort dental for an exam. I have been in before normally everyone is friendly and seems to work well together. While I was waiting I witnessed an employee being quite unprofessional and rude to another employee over what seemed nonsense. I was quite embarrassed it made the environment awkward. No one did anything to stop this horrible employee harassment including the dentist. When checking out I asked who the assistant was that was unprofessional and rude was told her name is Bea. To the assistant being harassed I hope you find a new job, but I won't be back to find out. And I am so sorry I didn't say something while I was there. I will never come back to this office that allows employee mistreatment. read more

For years I dealt with constant toothe/mouth pain because I was too scared to go to the dentist. I'd had so many horrific experiences with so many different dentists and spent at least $8,000 on bad dental work. Dr. Brad Copple reacently pulled all of my top teeth and I got dentures. I didn't have to take anything for anxiety after the first appointment, I felt almost no pain and the dentures look and feel spectacular. Every technician I had, especially B, was caring and more than competent. Even the receptionist is great. I've recommended them to all of my friends and family! read more

Staff was nice and did a good job on teeth; however, upon a follow up visit they charged additional fees that wasn't disclosed on the original agreement (gold plan). They are not transparent regarding their fees nor is it professional. When I addressed this issue to the staff, they were not helpful in the least. Dental pain is intense and severe. There is no way around it. Prepare yourself mentally and get the attention you may need now. Obama Care makes it more affordable for everyone. I had a tooth pulled here yesterday. It was a terrible experience. I have dentist anxiety. I made that clear on my scheduling visit. Apparently this was never added to my chart. I was having a wisdom tooth pulled, which was considered a "surgical extraction" and costs $100 more than a simple extraction. The dental assistant took me back to the room and gave me paperwork to sign. The paperwork indicated the wrong tooth to be pulled. When I corrected her, she just crossed it out and said "oh, I couldn't tell on the x-ray." After getting the local shot into my mouth I began to panic. The dentist asked me multiple times if I was ok and I told him I have having a lot of anxiety. He told me he was going to let the anesthetic work and that I needed to relax. I don't know about anyone else, but when someone is about to yank something from my face, I can't really calm down on command. As I'm sitting alone in that chair "trying to calm down" all I can think is I need to get out of here. Have you ever heard the Dinosaur Jr song puke+cry. That's how I'm feeling at that moment. The dentist comes back to see how it's working. I think this is the point where I am getting the gas. I am still anxious, but feeling like it will be ok once I get the gas. But it never comes. I'm awake. The whole time. I hear all the sounds of my tooth being pulled from my face. There is pain. I'm am panicking. He numbs the area again. And gets the tooth out. But I feel traumatized. I will never go back. When my fiancé called the doctor to talk to them about happened, the doctor said that I was going to need to go to another doctor to deal with my mental issues. The people who work there are mostly agreeable. The dentist was really nice at first impression. I've been to nicer dentists, though. Also, they will try to sign you up for the gold plan which seems like a deal at first, but the you find out that everytime you come in you have to pay not only their listed fees, but also a $25 co-pay. The dentist I used to go to was actually considerablly cheaper out of pocket. And he knew how to deal with anxious patients. read more

I recently got a filling from here and LOVED it! I hate, hate, HATE, going to the dentist and would rather pull my own teeth out! But if you are like me and have panic attacks every time you sit in one of those chairs, then this is the place for you!!! The staff is very, very nice and makes you feel @ home! Dr. Mike is one of the nicest Dr.'s around! He is really concerned about your comfort and sensitivity! I've had fillings before and they took quite awhile. I can't speak for all the doctors there, but Dr. Sean Morgan is amazing! He is compassionate, competent, and very friendly. The staff is really nice (especially Braxton) and they always remember me, which is a great feeling. They make themselves so available, they are even open on Saturday! If you know anything about dentistry, you know that all the dentists got together one day and decided that they deserve 3 day weekends...not at Comfort Dental. They obviously realize that people can have teeth problems any day of the week and they always take you "same day" if you are really in pain/need. I know my teeth are in good hands and so will yours!
