We took off work and waited. Text messages came assuring us they were on their way several times, only to get a voicemail later that they should have scheduled it early in the morning since there were 3 air conditioners and wouldn't make it. I called back, rescheduled for today April 14th. I received a text message this morning letting me know I was on the schedule and that they would be in contact with us when the tech was on his way. By 11:00am I had heard nothing. I contacted them (all done through AI mind you) and they said they heard my concern and someone would be coming out still today. At 3:00pm I contacted them again and they said now, the gentleman that was scheduled to come out here was stuck and couldn't come out until tomorrow...So do you think they were actually going to come out tomorrow? The answer is no. I live in a rural town which they CLAIM to service but its only if you are convenient. Poor planning, poor scheduling, they will drop you for their higher paying jobs. They don't care to lose your service because they can't keep up with it anyways. Take my advice and call someone else. Insincere. Diengenous. Should probably higher some real people. Now certainly wouldn't trust them to do a good job and not rush to something else.

For this one, Easton provided my quote and answered all of my questions. He worked with me to get the best price they could offer. Dewey, Zane, and Rudy came out to install bathrooms fans, vent them to gable end vents, and blow attic insulation. They were very professional and answered all of my questions. They did a pretty good job, seemed honest, and seemed trustworthy. I liked that most of the time all of them used booties over their shoes; that is important to me. Had a couple hiccups they addressed with no issue. I would have them do work for me again. I do wish I would've asked about which bathroom fans we were going to install in the bathrooms. This may have been the only option but I wish I would've asked. Utilitech is a brand I wouldn't be opposed to but to have two options I could've researched. These don't seem to suck very well compared to the 40 year old ones that were in there. They are quieter though. Thank you ECS for providing good service.

I had a second person come over and the only problem was a loose wire running copper tubing. Thais was after I had been a customer for several years. I was never informed that there would be a $49 charge to come out to my home. I called and talked to the woman who answered the phone and told her what happened. Then I mailed a letter and explained the injustice. After another threat, I called and asked to speak to the owner and was told that he was in a meeting. I had this company install a new HVAC system back on April 1st. The system is eligible for a…read more$500-$800 rebate through TVA. This was outlined in the estimate from Ultimate Heating and Air and confirmed verbally numerous times. In order to claim this rebate, the installing company needs to submit a form to TVA to initiate the process. I doubt it's a huge inconvenience for the company to do. The company that serviced the HVAC units (I have 2) a week prior had the courtesy to submit rebate requests for that service and sent me confirmation of the rebate submission the same day the work was done. Getting Ultimate Heating and Air to complete the same courtesy has proven impossible. Two months of texts, e-mails and phone calls to the company went unanswered. Finally, after two months, I got a call back from Brady in which he admitted to intentionally ignoring my contact attempts because he was too busy with a "rebranding process". I guess customers aren't worth the 20 seconds it takes to at least provide a status? He said that they were getting close to finalizing things and I should hear something soon ... he said next week. Well, a week and a month have passed and still nothing. I contacted TVA and they said they would e-mail the company and extend their deadline for filing for the job (first I heard about a deadline). Still nothing. As far as I'm concerned this company stole $800 from me. If this sounds like the level of customer care you expect from a company you forked out $13,500 to, by all means give them a call. If I could turn back the clock I would have gone with someone else. There's no shortage of options out there. I have zero faith that I would have any backing if a warranty issue should arise. Once they got their money I was clearly no longer important to them.

And I am very glad I did. This past Saturday I noticed that my house was getting hotter as the day progressed. Once it reached 80 degrees inside when my thermostat was set at 70, I knew it was more than just being extremely hot outside (over 100 with the heat index). So I called Ultimate and they had someone here in an hour (he happened to be close by on another call). My capacitor had gone out, which is common in the heat like we are having. As I am on their maintenance plan, I was only charged for the capacitor and got a 10% discount on top of it. I can't say enough about Ultimate. They really took care of us when we needed it. Each time I have talked to them or when they were here, they were professional, knowledgeable, and personable.

You should keep better records so when your customers call, you can know how to best serve them, or in our case, not serve them. We were charged $145 for you to come to our house and tell us you don't carry the replacement for r-22 as many other companies do and have had great success maintaining units with it. You just want to sell us a new unit on a small house between 8-10k dollars. We have been using Superior for years with our rental houses. I've always been happy but today I just feel like we've been ripped off. I told them the issue with our unit so they knew when they came out that we needed recharged. They don't have any r22 anymore though. So of course they want to sell us any unit and charge us a diagnostic fee that is $50 more than anyone else.
