Pro tip: bring the part that needs replacing, when possible. Guys took 1 look at my 1950's 3 handle tub shower valve and knew just what I needed. Were they cheap? No. But they had the entire kit that replaced everything I was after for $133, which saved me in time/labor retrofitting. They even walked me through assembly and installation to make sure my repair was a success. Even mentioned returns are accepted with receipt. Plenty of parking in the shared lot outside the entrance. Called over the phone for a braided supply line to install a bidet which required one over the existing rigid supply line. They knew exactly what size I needed. I drove over purchased it and had completed the installation without any issues. The staff was very friendly and informative. They gave me useful tips on removing and installing the supply lines. Excellent service and attention to detail helped me knock out one of my home projects without a hitch!! I highly recommend these folks for your plumbing questions and needs. Great place to find plumbing supplies that aren't in stock or even carried at the big retailers. Brought in an old stem and the clerk instantly knew what brand and item I needed within 10 seconds. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM!!! After Purchasing a garbage disposal from this establishment trying to help local business. The disposal broke over the holidays. Comet Plumbing claimed they were completely out of them in the store to replace it. Therefore after calling a specialist and having them come over the holidays to replace my garbage disposal I had to order a new one from the manufacturer, the business still would not take a brand new garbage dispisal back for a refund. I have been struggling all weekend with a DIY plumbing project at home which meant that for most of that time the family had no water. My dad needed a specific part for a sink repair and was told to try Comet Plumbing Supply, as the part he needed was not carried at the big box stores. We looked online, but the price was pretty high for such a tiny piece! Thankfully, my dad was able to try out Comet and within a few minutes, an employee got him the part for almost half the price of online and even gave him advice on how to put the sink back together! My dad was so impressed and thankful that the service was so friendly, which is apparently hard to find nowadays. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT go anywhere near this place for any reason. I took back a faucet in an unopened box with the credit card receipt with in a week after buying it. That was wrong size faucet for my sink. Since I did not have the original receipt these guys took the whole box and put it in their trash can. That was a $125 dollar product. I was forced to walk away. I am sure these crooks put that product back on the shelf as soon as I left the store. Absolute crooks. Do not shop there. read more

The Staff here are all EXPERTS and extremely knowledgeable in all facets of plumbing. The men at the counter were very friendly and wanted to help me as soon as I walked through the door. Great customer service! I needed to replace a set of faucet bonnets that were no longer made. The Techs at Comet told me to save my money and that they would re-build the bonnets with new seals and mount screws and that it would take 30 minutes. Well in less than 15 minutes, I had both bonnets repaired and in hand. The cost came to less than 3.00! I love these guys!!! read more

For those that gave 1 star, I can only say that while a 15 day return policy seems short, that's still plenty of time to find out if the part is correct, and if not, to get back to their shop. I've visited Comet Plumbing several times over the past couple of decades. Experts in the field. They provide excellent advice. I've never left there without having the right answer or at least a plan of action with my plumbing projects. On one visit, they put some of their own labor into dismantling an old seized-up pool diverter valve for me to repair, and I didn't even end up buying anything from them that time! Be a bit patient with getting someone to help you, because they devote themselves to solving problems for their customers, and they may be finishing solving another problem before you came in the door. Recognize their shop for what it is: an expert repository, a wealth of experience and a warehouse that will find what you need. read more

The customer service here is good. Watch out if you get the wrong part 15 day return policy and no return without a receipt. Even if you can show the charge. It took them two weeks to find my part. It was the wrong part. The cost was $19.00 for two shower seats. My plumber came to fix my shower and informed me wrong seats. I went to take back. They would not take them back or exchange them for correct seats. read more

I bought a beautiful kitchen fixture. It was the last one in polished finish & the guy had a problem scanning the product. He said they'd had that problem wih it. Maybe that's why the box was so dusty. It had been on the shelf for awhile. I had it installed on July 5th & it leaked under the sink. My handyman found the problem was a ring that looked like it had been chewed by a rat. We went to Lowe's for a new o-ring, since Comet was closed. I called the 5th and was on the phone for 14 min b4 being told they were very busy and the mgr would call me regarding a credit. Today, I waited till 1010 b4 calling again & was told the mgr, Ken, had just walked in. Long story short, I can't even get an in store credit for the future purchases I had planned on making. I told him any retail business would offer an in store credit, if not a refund. He was argumentative. He wanted the product back. Hey, Ken, it's attached to my sink.
