BEWARE: The denim blazer was cleaned beautifully, and a coupon reduced the cleaning cost. However, when i removed the plastic bag, a highly aromatic perfumey smell emanated from the jacket. I called Comet and was told they use only organic cleaning methods and add no scent. She suggested the perfume smell was in the jacket prior to cleaning -- rude approach. DEFINITELY NO PERFUME SCENT WAS IN THE JACKET since I am highly allergic to perfumes and scents. She said she would review with manager then decide what to do and call me back -- I received no call. BEWARE OF SCENT SIMILAR TO HIGHLY PERFUMED DRYER SHEETS! The jacket is hanging in the garage and bit of the scent has dissipated but still unwearable. Most likely the jacket will require recleaning before wearing. read more

Outstanding customer service and attention to detail.Melayna gave me great information about getting the yellow tint out of one my favorite excessively over starch white Oxford style shirt...which is totally my fault. The shirt looks new again and I'm a medium starch instead of heavy starch guy from this point forward. I go to other dry cleaners but, after having a really good shirt get damaged a couple times, I decided to try Comet. It is a little bit more expensive than most, but I highly recommend it for any items you cherish. They have very friendly individuals working here, you never wait too long, and my jeans and shirts that I turned in came back looking like I just got them from the store. I was very pleased. I even had them remove a stain I didn't notice I had from a shirt. I was very pleased with the service and I will be returning. read more

Best cleaners hands down!! Amanda and Victoria are always so welcoming and I love how they know their customers. Definitely will not go anywhere else or trust anyone with our clothes. read more

I been using a family owned cleaners for 10 years and found my back to Comet Cleaners due to a coupon on HEB receipt. Rosalie and Amanda were extremely helpful on how to drop off overnight and how to maximize the coupons. Will be referring my friends and family to the Bulverde location. Thank you, Rosalie and Amanda!!! read more

I am sad to say that I will no longer be using this cleaners. While my clothes are clean and overall look good my issue is with the stickers with bar codes that are used to track the clothing. They are applied with heat which makes them impossible to remove. Ok when they are applied to the clothing tags BUT NOT OK WHEN APPLIED DIRECTLY TO MY CLOTHES!!!! Are you kidding me? In the attached pictures one sticker is applied to a merino wool sweater! Directly on it. And the heat/iron left a mark. This sticker will never come off without destroying the sweater. The other picture was a sticker applied directly to the waist band of a wool skirt. It left a hole when removed!! The stickers are impossible to remove from the clothing tags and destroy the clothing when applied directly to the clothing. Just ridiculous! Whoever came up with this method knows nothing about clothes. Clothes are not cheap and have no business being treated this way. I will no longer use this cleaner. read more

Their best service is screwing over customers. Just had my third & last visit. Each time I have had their coupon for laundered shirts-"Unlimited Number for $2.89 each. First drop off was 5 cotton shirts with coupon which mathematically comes to $15.64 with tax. They charged $15.65. I let that go because registers can be programmed to round up to a business advantage & it's unethical but not considered illegal. Shirts had no starch & barely pressed. Looked & wore like rags. Second drop off was again 5 cotton shirts with same coupon but with light starch. Pick up was for $15.65 again & shirts were inconsistently starched & ironed. Some were lightly starched & two were so heavily starched button holes were hard to open. Third drop off was for six cotton shirts with their $2.89 Unlimited coupon. I had trouble just turning my shirts in. Gentleman, I think named Max, argued with me about how I wanted my shirts done. I insisted I wanted them just as before - laundered with light starch. Max wasn't in a good mood when I came in & had been berating a young man behind the counter walking to the rear of the store. Picked up this 3rd drop off of 6 shirts & Comet Wanted to charge me over $33.00 claiming all 6 cotton shirts were put in to be dry cleaned. After much arguing got bill below $20. Plus one of my shirts now has a hole in it.....which Comet now claims was turned in this hole. On top of this mess, Comet tells me I am in their computer for dry cleaning only for future services. Comet has screwed me over for the last time.....Tired of poor quality of work, rude employees & now a new need to protect my cotton shirts from becoming HOLEY messes. read more

Very impressed with Tee at the Bulverde Road location. Very quick and courteous. Pricing was more than fair. I will definitely be back.

Loved their professionalism and care for great service! Both Amanda and Tee were knowledgeable and quick to respond.

I'm new to the area and used Google to search for a dry cleaners with a convenient location and great reviews. Lucky to find Comet that not only meets those two "must haves" but also has friendly customer service and my dress looks fantastic! Thank you and will certainly be a long term customer. read more

Close to home, reasonable price, quick and efficient service. And Rae was super nice!

Not at all impressed with the customer service. When I dropped off my clothes for the first time the clerk had an attitude while explaining services. She couldn't help me set up pick up/delivery service if I wanted it. Lastly, she couldn't let me pay ahead nor could she tell me how much I would owe at pick up! What I have the major issue about is when I went to go pick up my clothes today I went through the drive-in. When the lady came out to greet me and to take my payment which was my debit card she asked me if she could put my debit card on file. My response was no because I wasn't comfortable with doing that. So then I feel as if I was strong-armed into doing so because she said that that's how they're doing contactless service. I get that they are trying to minimize contact with customers but at the same time I don't understand why they can't have a card reader or a chip reader that reaches to the drive-in area to be able to pay or close that function off if you want to have contactless service and make people come in and run their card so you don't have to touch it. I won't be going back to Comet cleaners based on the fact that I feel forced into providing my debit card for them to keep on file. I guess I'll be finding another cleaners to use for the future. read more

Okay so I had some big issues with the first time I came to this cleaner, it had to do with some of the worst customer service I've ever had. I gave it two star rating because the clothes good. I said I would never come back. They reached out to me to try to do something to help me want to come back. I wouldn't. It took me a long long time to come back and give them a second try. I'm glad I did because I've had wonderful customer service and the clothes are well cleaned and pressed and starched, and they are affordable... so I'm now posting this five star review. read more
