Since I had already handled the cleanup myself, I declined their offer. I hope moving forward there's more attention to preparation and proper demo practices so situations like this can be avoided for other clients. I want to share my experience so others know what to expect. When the roofing work started, the lack of professionalism was obvious. There was little to no preparation--no tarps were laid down, and debris was scattered all over my yard. I recently had landscaping done, and it was frustrating to see roofing materials, nails, and trash . Even after the job was "completed," cleanup was incomplete. I'm still finding roofing debris in my backyard, on my grill, and even on my smoker. They also damaged my outdoor lamps and didn't bother to fix or properly replace them. To make matters worse, they left behind leftover materials, including a large box of nails and roofing liner. Oh and because they had little care for prep my dog's water/food bowls had material thrown on them. If I wasn't paying attention they would of ingested that stuff. As someone who grew up around roofing (my father is a roofer), I can say this level of carelessness is not normal--it's sloppy. While the roof itself may look fine at a glance, the overall experience and lack of respect for my property were disappointing. I would strongly encourage others to be cautious and ask detailed questions upfront before hiring this company.

Once contact was made, a fair price, contract, and service were all completed on the same day. They are certainly a ray of sunshine in completing a job that would have taken me a half day to complete, due to the pitch of my roof. We could not be happier that we went with McKinley Pro for our window and door replacement project!…read more We interviewed 5 different companies and were just turned off by their high-pressure sales tactics (and price) and we did not experience any of that with this company. We wanted Andersen windows made with FIBREX material and we discovered McKinley Pro is the only "Premier" Certified Andersen contractor in Central Florida (which I called Andersen to verify) that sells and installs them, and they offer 0% financing! From contract signing, measure, order placement & install, it could not have been a better experience and their communication is fantastic. I requested an estimate to repair roof damage that was causing a leak. The completed work was a basic patch that fell well below reasonable expectations, as shown in the photos. When I raised my concerns, Joe Taylor, the owner of Walsh Roofing, stated that the task has been completed because a repair using all new materials would have cost more and that I likely would have cancelled the work. I fail to see how receiving a reasonable quote for a professional repair would result in canceling a job. I asked for a reasonable price for a proper repair--not a low-cost, extremely substandard solution. The photos speak for themselves.

Once we accepted his proposal, he and his assistant, Maria, took care of everything. One or both of them were on site every day, supervising their very capable crew. We are extremely satisfied with our new roof, a solar-powered attic exhaust fan, new gutters with leaf filters, and a new covering on our porch's flat roof. I went with this company because Felix had the best credentials and references of anyone that I spoke with, and he treated my project as if it were his own. Felix's credentials and expertise proved invaluable in working directly with my insurance company eliminating any "hassles" along the way. Felix and Maria also worked with other contractors that were necessary in finishing my project. Thanks to them, everything went very smoothly. My home looks great. Felix and Maria paid close attention to every little detail. I never thought that I would write such a glowing review for anyone, but this one was so well deserved.
