I stopped by on a weekday around 3:00-4:00 p.m., right as happy hour was starting. According to their website, happy hour runs from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The main reason I came was for their frozen rosé, which I remembered being one of the best. It's definitely more of a sweet, refreshing drink than a strong one, but it still gives you a nice buzz. I was even willing to pay full price for it. I literally paid for an Uber just because I was craving that frozen drink. The first thing I noticed was that, despite it being broad daylight, there was a security guard at the door checking IDs and searching bags. That's their policy, and that's fine, but what really stood out was the condition of the entrance. The front door was cracked and held together with duct tape. It seemed odd to be so focused on security while basic maintenance appeared to be neglected. When I walked in, I was only the second customer in the entire bar besides the bartender. Unfortunately, I found out the frozen drink machines have been broken for months, so there were no frozen drinks available at all. The bartender mentioned that she has repeatedly told management the machines need to be repaired, but nothing has been done. Since that was the only reason I came, and nothing else on the menu really caught my interest, I decided not to stay. This place has changed dramatically since the COVID era. The atmosphere feels completely different. One of the things I used to enjoy was their hookah happy hour, which was around $25 with refills for about $10-$15, and they had a great selection of flavors. From what I've heard, they no longer offer hookah, and it sounds like they may not have had the proper license back then, which is concerning if true. Another thing I miss is the outdoor seating area they had during COVID. The indoor space is pretty small, but the outdoor setup made the bar feel much larger and created a much better atmosphere. It's disappointing that they didn't keep it because I think it really added to the experience and probably helped attract more customers. Sorry I didn't take any photos, but honestly, there wasn't much worth photographing. The interior hasn't really changed, so the existing photos online are still an accurate representation of what it looks like still.

Then I arrive and I realize the seats are a bit too far from the stage, and there's a speaker tower directly in front of me. So why am I giving The Big 4 four stars? Because I still managed to have a great time. The crowd was fun, the music was great, and it was a nice way to spend 7 or 8 hours (minus the insane humidity that day). The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the line for merchandise. Holy hell! 3 guys working 1 table with over 200 people waiting for shirts and whatnot. I was pushed around like I was in a mosh-pit (which I purposely stayed out of for a reason) and by the time I got to the front of the line, the guy working there ignored me for a good 5 minutes like I just didn't exist. But I finally got my t-shirt and raced back to watch Metallica's set. Awesome experience but they do need to work on the merchandise stands and the layout on the field.

Anthrax. Megadeth. Slayer. Metallica. the influence these bands have made is legendary. true, they may have "sounded more real" back in the 80s, but they also didn't have the historic catalog of sounds to reach into back then, nor the reputation they have now. Anthrax - always underrated, these guys stole the goddamn show. their sound was tight and they got the crowd pumped for the rest of the bands. setlist was a rousing stomp through 80s thrash classics like "Madhouse", "Antisocial", "Caught in a Mosh", and even a song from the new album. my favorite set of the night. Megadeth - Dave Mustaine should be our President; simple as that. sadly, Mr. Mustaine had a neck injury ("I shouldn't be playing here tonight") so the setlist was short and he didn't seem as energetic as the other times I saw Megadeth. still, tore through classics from all over the place and even a new song to whet our appetites. Slayer - just all-out, balls-to-the-wall aggression and fury. you could blow up a small Third World country with the energy these guys got out of the crowd. my second time seeing them and somehow I'm still not clicking with their live set. I can enjoy the crowd favorites, but the rest is kinda "eh" to me. don't get me wrong, I like them, but of the four bands, probably my least favorite. Metallica - my fourth time seeing them and they again sounded awesome. the setlist DOES need to be switched up - I'd like to hear some more variance - but they threw in "Orion" as a tribute to Cliff Burton. completely solid. for some reason they were the only guys with a stage show - lasers, fog, balloons, explosions, fireworks, and more! there was a unity song where members of all the bands came out to play "Overkill" by Motorhead. the energy, already at a boiling point, erupted. Kerry King standing next to Kirk Hammett! Joey Belladonna and Dave Ellefson side by side! to think, in Europe, they get massive metal festivals all the time! let's outlaw professional sports and give the stadiums over to rock bands. there, I said it! you wanna fight? I'LL TAKE YOU ALL ON! the sound was perfect. the bands were great. the weather was warm. 50 thousand people of every type descended upon Yankee Stadium and witnessed history, singing along to every song. my kids will envy me.

Reception staff was friendly. Admission is always free. As of 2023, reservations to visit are no longer required. There is a wheelchair ramp to get into the gallery once you walk into the building. TBH, I was very impressed overall with my experience when the Yanks played and subsequently crushed, the Rockies on 9/10/26. Other cities need to pay attention to the transportation options to get here. For the majority of folks, we take the subway to the 161st stop; but there are also buses and I did notice other fans taking ride shares (Uber/Lyft). And for a large urban area, the bag policy is QUITE generous. They allow fans to bring in a bag of 16 inches by 16 inches by 8 inches dimensions. My brother and I paid $18 for a 24 oz beer - which if you think about it is $9/beer and isn't bad for a MLB ball park. You pay that much for a beer in most major cities. But being back in the house of Babe Ruth, Don Mattingly, Derek Jeter, MarianoRivera, and now Aaron Judge is just a magical experience. Our "cheap" seats of $30 in the upper deck along the first base line, still provided a great vantage point. Our section erupted with Anthony Volpe hit a grand slam in the 7th inning and sent most of the fans exiting the stadium. Every baseball fan at some point in their lives, needs to make a pilgrimage to the Bronx and experience a game at one of the truly great stadiums in the world.

To make the experience even better I got to see one of the greatest rappers alive, who just so happens to be from New York. Without a doubt, it ranks among the top five greatest experiences I've ever had. Let me not forget to mention that having seats in the Delta SKY360° Suite only added to the overall experience. If I ever make it back to Yankee Stadium, this is the only place I want to sit. The view is phenomenal and if you were attending a baseball game it would be comparable to sitting right behind home plate. You also get access to a private lounge with a variety of food options, multiple bars, and an incredibly friendly staff. Now, as for the concert itself if you didn't make it to one of the three nights at Yankee Stadium you truly missed something special. I mean, on night one, he opened the show by bringing out Beyoncé to perform Can't Knock the Hustle. For those who get it, get it! Now it's a sprint to see who is the best in the land. Every pitch, every at bat and pretty much every play matters. One mistake can send your favorite team home for the winter. It will certainly be tough to beat last year's postseason. Yeah Cubbies. But there are intriguing teams that have had long droughts in October. Cleveland Indians & LA Dodgers are the favorites going in probably. Watch out for the Houston Astros (just a hunch).But this is why every little kid picks up a baseball. Someday to call themselves World Series Champions. From little league to riding the buses in the minors. Just to get this chance, even if it's that onetime. Heck, recently even a few wild card teams have gone the distance to win it all. Bullpens & the bench players are always a big part of a teams success, especially this time of year. Certainly takes all 25 players to survive and advance deep into October. Enjoy America's pastime at it's finest. I'll probably be on the edge of my seat, like every year. But please don't keep me up as late as last season.
