The food is adequate. Nothing special. The service is horrible. Ended up here for lunch and the waitress literally forgot about us. After a half hour I had to go find her. She apologized profusely about that and brought the check. That was the first time I have never tipped. There are plenty of other places that have bar and grille type foods and actually have proper service. Skip this place. Unless your car broke down and you are too afraid to walk to the gas station next door for a bag of cheetos. read more

Came here after leaving VBG in Milford. Had drinks and placed order within 5 minutes. Had waited 45 minutes at Mainstreet Grill in Milford for olives! Service excellent. Food good and consistent. read more

First off, by far.....the best Nachos in a 50 mile radius of the joint. Second, the best breadsticks you'll ever have. Third, happy hour is the best atmosphere in Oakland County as are the drink specials. But mostly is the genuine vibe brought on by the Proprietors Chris and Paul Baker. These guys are the icing on the cake making every single person that walks into their Restaurant/Bar feel like family. With the amazing Owners and Staff, if you're in the area stop in and I guarantee you'll be back. read more

Nothing but great food and service. The Cheers of North Oakland County. Order the pizza. I recommend thin crust cooked extra crisp. Great tap collection of IPA's which are rotated monthly. Best part is the patrons. Everyone is so nice. read more

To be fair, I would say 2.5 stars. Overall, pretty good food and reasonable prices. Service seemed slow, but it was a pretty busy game night, so I'll stick with three stars and not ding them for that. We had the pizza. It was good, but nothing special. The onion rings were absolutely phenomenal - but I'm not sure it is difficult to do good onion rings :) They seemed to have a full menu, and I wouldn't be opposed to returning in the future to sample some other items. However, I'm also not going out of my way to do so. Just not all that excited 'bout this place. read more

If I could give this place a half a star I would! The food is mediocre and the service leaves SO much to be desired. I went there on two occasions, once for dinner and had their pizza with My Husband, and we didn't even choose to finish it, it was like cardboard. The second occasion was for a Halloween event, which was a complete disaster, as we stayed for hours, and they did not bother to announce the winner of the costume contest, which left everyone in the dark and we along with everyone else in the place, were sitting there stupified when My husband asked a waitress and she very casually said "Oh they've already chosen a winner" Well gee it would have been nice if, your establishment would have announced it to the rest of the group there! Needless to say we were less then amused, at the attitudes of the wait-staff. The people that they had come in for the promotional products were actually way nicer than the actual staff there! I call it The "NEVER Go Back Again"! read more

Before visiting I called to ask some questions, the girl who answered the phone (she didn't give me her name), didn't know how to give me directions on how to get there from US23, she didn't even know the address, But she was very nice and helped me with some of the other questions I had. when i arrived i was told to seat myself and my server (Kelly) came to our table right away. she was very helpful on telling me what beers where on tap and most popular. I ordered the Turkey Reuben with sweet potato fries and it was amazing! the food came out fast and Kelly made sure that we got everything we needed and provided us with a great experience! read more

This is a comfortable, laid-back, welcoming place with decent food. Our waitress was very friendly and on the ball. We came here for dinner with my family during the week, and it was plenty busy. The bar had its own share of customers; looking like they just came off the golf course. That seems to be the kind of vibe going on. Our food was good for what it was, reasonably priced standard American fare. We will be back. My teenagers liked it, and it's our kind of local go-to place. Good burger, surprisingly good salmon, fresh salads and great fried pickles. Only disappointment were the nachos, which were overcooked and dried out. read more

Very disappointed with the service our daughter and friends received. Our daughter just recently turned 21 and a group of her friends who she met at a Disney Internship came in to celebrate. With that being said we had license from different states and country ( Australia) the bartender ( who I will not name) refused to accept them and also was told by another male they were gonna call the police . They also made a comment to the girls to go to a different establishment because they accept anything ( so are you stating some other bar is serving minors?) we called up to verify that all girls were of legal age and that we would not jeopardize any establishment . We trusted Comeback that is why we sent them there to be treated with respect. I understand if the bartender was unsure BUT she should of quietly explained to the girls her concerns and NOT go to the other patrons and say stuff about the girls. That put them in a bad situation and could of caused a problem for their safety. That is my biggest complaint. read more

Food and service is always excellent. I recommend the pizza.

We dine here pretty regularly as a family. Wednesday, we had a horrible experience! I'm not sure if it's because we had purchased a Groupon or what the story was but we had the absolute worst service I've ever experienced. It was only around 4:30 so it wasn't busy. I stood up countless times to just see if I could spot our reclusive waitress. She did a good job taking our order and bringing our food out, but we didn't get our last drinks we ordered, we weren't charged for them. We weren't ready to leave, but when we could no longer get her to even acknowledge that we were still there, we got boxes, paid and left. No complaints about the food, but don't put people on the floor that aren't ready to take on the job of waitressing. I have high regard for waitstaff, it's not an easy job, but by no means were we making it a difficult one. read more

First time there, pizza was ok, hand cut chips very good, never received appetizer that was ordered little dissaponted. Did not understand the Scotch magician? Sat outside but right on top of cars and people smoking, wee problem. read more

I travel a lot for business frequenting many restaurants. With the countless eatery choices in the area, Comeback Inn of highland MI has a gem in their Bartender Rachael a true professional always taking great care of us locals. Rachael consistently plays a monumental in our decision to come back to the Comeback Inn. read more

Sat down for 29 minutes and not a soul came to our table. There were only about 5 customers there when we walked. Drove down the road to the Milford House and got great service and good food! Maybe they should change the name to Don't Come Inn! read more
