Best staff members and down to earth. The real deal. Came in twice because road trip from Tallahassee, Florida and stopped into Gonzales area. It is the cutest place, city/town and lovely restaurant - COME & CREPE IT, Gonzales, TX. If you have not been, I highly recommend. The atmosphere is so calm and lovely style. I went into some shops after and said I just had BLD (I eat once a day but drink ample H20) the combined meal at C&C it was the best ever. Every single person in the different shops, there was 4 shops in total said YES THAT RESTAURANT (= Come and Crepe it) IS FANTASTIC!! It is because have been 2x eating different foods and each time everything tastes high level like 5 stars. I believe the great guy in front was owner and he as the chefs/bakery people as waitress are above and beyond. I thanked them all. I love this restaurants out of many around the world. It has such a good = God feeling of positive energy! They even have a framed poster pick of double decker. I am British and lived in many countries. They also have Noah's ark with the animals and other fun stuff on the shelving unit. Tv with vintage music as video of fun style musicians. Very good to see again. It is an amazing restaurant from the soul. I am telling everybody about it. There is a big parking lots across the street. My service dog was welcomed without hesitation. Locals and others from out of town know this establishment. I think that they should if they could, make lots of these around U.S.A. or get hooked up with airplane co. to make the meals. People on the plane would be in heaven at those high altitudes in the sky with those amazing clouds. Airplane foods are not the greatest. But it COME AND CREPE IT got on board. Wow! People would be flying high. I travel lots around the world and take tons of planes. Sometimes three in one day to get to where I have to get to help the people. Ok, so I had french toast and choc. m.shake with cherry on top in fancy glass which I love. Also, salad. Have to get my greens in and bless all foods as thanking God energy and nourish my body. He smiled and came back with a red tumbler of iced H20. He is always kind and smiling. I believe he is the owner. The huevos rancheros were terrible. I almost never send food back but it was nothing like I expected and smelled like feet when I got it. They used powdered eggs and just goofed everything together on top of the tortillas. The tortillas were so hard you couldn't cut them with a knife. We each had omelettes- they come with fresh fruit and hashbrowns. I had a caramel macchiato with fun foam art on top and my bride had iced coffee. All we wanted was to order coffee and not be bothered, but everything was table service. Oh well! The clerk working the order tablet was very helpful and made our experience a little bit better. This restaurant is one of my favorites. When we have guests or friends in town, it is one of my first choices for breakfast or brunch. Lately, I have been disappointed in the "syrup" served with my Good Morning Sunshine crepe. In the beginning, the Maple syrup made the meal outstanding. In the past year, the syrup has been a lower quality pancake type and yesterday the syrup was barely distinguishable as syrup! Please go back to the true Maple syrup! read more

After a nice hike nearby we came here for lunch. Loved the crepe cafe take but don't be fooled they offer more such as panini's, sandwiches, lattes, pastries, and etc. However, I decided on a savory and sweet crepe. For savory I made my own and went with mushroom, spinach, and Swiss cheese. The veggies could've been cooked down more but overall it was enjoyable. It wasn't too big because I was able to eat my sweet crepe. For my sweet crepe I went with the Bonnie & Clyde, which for me was Nutella and bananas. I really love that combination. The crepe was soft enough to cut through and fill my fork with equal parts Nutella and banana. When we came for lunch they were busy. Apparently if you are planning to dine in you should sit at a table and a waiter will come take your order, not sure how consistent that is. All we're pretty good however, we ordered a crêpe and never got it, which was the only problem we had the breakfast sandwiches really good. I know the grape would've been good as well. We stopped by for takeout and got a Nutella strawberry crepe, as well as a savory one, the come and take it crepe! Both were good, but the savory one was definitely one of the best I've had, and they didn't skimp on the portions at all! Food was delicious. We got the Bonnie and Clyde crepe, the bacon egg and cheese croissant, and the American breakfast. All three dishes were great, just teas and a lemonade so can't speak on the coffee but it did look good. Service was good and the atmosphere was nice for a quiet little Sunday breakfast. It's one of those little gems that's a hole in the wall, plenty of parking though which was a relief since it's on the square and you never know how busy it will be on a given day. They had a lot of coloring books and books for children to entertain them which is so nice to see since it's becoming more and more rare that places offer that for parents. read more

They had a very large to-go order that was put in during the time between when we ordered our meal and when we ordered the dessert crepes. Come and Crepe It is an amazing little crepe place located at the heart of downtown Gonzales. The crepes are generously filled, delicious and very affordable. Their coffee is generally good (it doesn't compete with genuine coffee shops in larger cities but it's remarkably better than everything else I've had in Gonzales, by a long shot) and the owner is this super friendly guy who'll remember you and wave at you whenever you come back. The only thing that could knock out a star is the service - some employees are amazing, but some seem to struggle every now and then. It's a small town and good food is scarce in Gonzales... so in the spirit of celebrating and promoting the restaurants that push the boundaries of good quality food, acting as trailblazers in their communities, I think Come and Crepe It deserves its whole 5 stars! This place is really great. I now come here quite often. If you are hungry, I suggest an omelette. If your tastebuds need sweet , they have suggested crepes or you can design your own. Can't say enough good things about this place but I'll go ahead and try! It was our first time here let alone in Gonzalez and this place easy enough to find. With ample street parking, we pulled right up and walked right in. So for those of you who may not know, they have take out and sit down. If you just want to take out, you can order right at the register, but if you want to sit down and dine in, you can help yourself to an open seat. We had Precious as our server and she was great (more to come on her later). Let's talk food. Crepes were amazingly priced! For the portions they serve. This could easily be $1-2$ more than what they are asking for. We got the gmorning sunshine which was like a breakfast omelet in a crepe. So good esp if you are hungry and want something filling. We also tried the chicken florentine and that was the star of the show! Big pieces of chicken and the sauce they used complimented it well. Lastly we tried the pecan pie and the cream cheese was fluffy and worked well with the crunchy pecans. Overall the place was great! Precious took her time to check up on us and give us time to order. She recommended some local favorites and even made sure to tell us where the restroom was. Because of her great customer service, I definitely want to come back and try more items!
