I posted five stars but also want to explain now the reason why. I'm a first time home buyer and even with as much research as I've done, still taken back by everything in the home buying process. I had a coworker also recommend him as well. I was able to set up an inspection rather quickly with him including a termite inspection and thanks to Matt's detailed inspection and explanation of everything throughout, I decided to step away from that particular home and keep my search going. Matt is extremely methodical and honest. He spent hours at the property, working his way through each section and his report was so detailed, I doubt he missed a nail out of place, which helped us know what to expect when we move in and what to ask for from the seller. He also helped us understand the severity of one of the more concerning issues and helped us make an informed decision. I tried to hire him for an additional service and rather than making easy money, he let me know that service was not needed in my case and advised me how to proceed, which I found refreshingly honest.
