The store is conveniently located near a busy highway and other busy businesses so the place was steady with customers. It had appeared to be ample amount of parking. I had stopped in to pick up some ready to eat shrimp tray for a family gather. I looked and looked for some ready to eat shrimp then I decided to look for alternative ready to go appetizers besides the typical cheese / meat / cracker trays....nothing. I was able to find a frozen shrimp tray but that would not able to help me. Maybe I'm just used to a large city grocery store with various ready to go appetizers and other options. As looking around, the store did carry enough items for the size of the store. I will need to plan ahead to avoid this smaller store.

Woodman's Market is a local Wisconsin brand of markets that puts every other market I have shopped at to shame. They are community focused and worker owned, which is really cool in today's corporate driven retail environment. In addition to their mission, they are solely grocery driven, meaning they focus on food, and lots of it...you will not find a wide variety of clothing, toys, seasonal items, etc...here, just food, lots and lots of food, and drinks. The store itself is MASSIVE, overwhelmingly so. However it is so thoughtfully laid out and spaced very well. Aisles are wide, sections are very clear and well defined and again, the selection is unreal. This is repeated throughout the store with every section from produce, veggies, snacks, frozen, meats, drinks, etc... In addition to the impressive variety of goods, Woodman's also has a gas station, service/lube station (oil changes), car wash and of course a well-stocked and good sized liquor store! Legit, everything. The store is well maintained conditionally and was very clean, inside and out. Service was top notch as well. From the cart attendance to the stock associate to the cashier...all were great! Overall, Woodman's Market is currently my favorite grocery store in the country. And I am honestly willing to throw hands over it. In addition to restaurants and other spaces I visit when in WI, Woodman's is always considered a priority stop!

For example, I know that I can usually find the cheese curds (something else we typically stop for to give to others back home) in the cases near the back wall. * It's clean. * There is a wide variety of items, including produce and locally made products. * The attached liquor store is also easy to find your way around in. Like others have mentioned, Woodman's does not take most credit cards, so be sure to have cash on hand.

The Lighthouse Thrift Store is a non profit organization that began in February of 2013, and is operated by the Wisconsin Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. It is affiliated with Wisconsin Academy, a private high school, as part of a work study program for the students. All items within the store for re-sale are received by donation. Proceeds from sales support the store’s mission to serve the surrounding community and Christian education. The Lighthouse also provides a “dent and bent” grocery area called Blessings Unlimited. You will find everything from canned goods to kitty litter.

No other grocery store charges me for cash back except my former employer. Kroger does everything they can to take advantage of their employees. Customers, BE CAREFUL they are not a reputable company and they take such advantage of their employees. It is a very toxic environment. Upper managerment comes through and makes the help feel like crap, yet they promte associate care over the speaker system. Zero motivation and zero concern who their managers are and how they work. Awful place to work!! Top heavy with management and when Mike Marks come through a store he doesn't even acknowledge the store help, but rather beats them up, such a hypocrite!
