How much does glasses start pricé wise?

This is a hard question to answer because it depends on the frame and the type of lens /prescription you need. The options are many. We have been their customer for many years and are pleased with their service and quality of their glasses. I usually… Read more

Went in October to schedule for cataract surgery. Cataract surgery in October. Charged $50 fee for…read morerefraction that insurance would not cover before we ever left the check out desk. Told to come back for follow up in December which we did . Asked to pay another $50 for a refraction. Wasn't given a prescription for glasses but told to come back again in March for a laser treatment. Why keep charging $50 for uncovered refraction . They do not tell you this before you have it done either. Just try to make next appointment and demanding $50. No wonder they have such a nice building. I suspect they do this repeatedly to every patient. Absurd!!

When I went in for my first visit for the removal of cataracts all of the test that was performed…read morewere not overseen by a physician, Staff members were the ones that made all the decisions on which lens would be placed in my eyes in surgery. Dr. Zogsby never checked behind these staff members. I assumed (my mistake) they knew what they were doing so I put my trust in these decisions. Before this surgery I never wore glasses but I was seeing through a slightly cloudy film that I was told was due to the cataracts. I approved of having the surgery because staff members told me I would have a new lease on life because I would not need distance eye ware which I didn't have to have anyway (but I may need readers which I was already using for up close work) Dr. Zogsby came in the examination room just to tell me he would be doing the surgery. On the day of surgery I was given a small amount of anesthesia and the procedure began. He talked about his son playing ball with the nurse the whole time (which was approximately 10 mins) He never addressed me other than when he was finished at which time he said "You did great" and walked out. When I went back for my checkup my vision was 20/20 but 2 weeks later it had deteriorated to 20/50. I was told it may take several weeks before my brain may accept the new lens. I took them at their word, so I scheduled the second eye for the same surgery. The second eye was much of the same outcome 20/35. I was struggling to see and couldn't drive due to this deterioration. When Dr. Zogsby said it may be a some other underlying condition that I have he tried to say I may have the beginnings of glaucoma at which time he gave me a eyedrop that was suppose to help with pressure on the optic nerve. These drops made my eyes blood shot and burned constantly. My opinion, is that the lens that was placed in my eyes were reversed and now after 7 months of this struggle I returned to my regular eye doctor and he told me I would need glasses that would somewhat correct my sight. He also said there was no sign of glaucoma and high pressure. He told me to stop the drops at which time the burning a redness disappeared. I think this clinic is relying on staff member's to do the doctor's job. Some of the doctors may have a great outcome but I would not recommend this clinic at all. You never know which doctor you will get. Please do your homework before letting anyone touch one of your most precious senses.
