I dropped by here on a Sunday to get my screen replaced on my iPhone. The shop was clean. I was promptly greeted by staff. He was professional and said he said he would have my phone complete in 30 minutes. After 30 minutes I came back and my phone was finished. There is a small white area on the screen, but I had been sporting my broken screen for months so I could have caused a issue with that area. Either was it was fast, much cheaper than buying a new phone and I'm happy with the service and experience. After about 2 days I couldn't get my 123 button wasn't working. OVER THE LAST 7 MONTHS I HAVE HAD TO GET 7 REPLACEMENT SCREENS on my iphone XR due to the fact that each new screen would have a different defective problem. I had random vertical lines, screen popping up in corner, phone screen not turning off when talking on it, phone not responding to touch, loose screws. Every new screen had a new problem. Biggest issues is that twice they charged me again for their "free warranty". One time a screw came loose internally a few weeks after a replacement. The screw coming loose caused the screen to crack internally when trying to use it. On my final replacement, my last screen showed a small amount of white light from around the edge immediately after being fixed. The next morning when I went to use it, it had a small crack in that spot. I brought it in less then 24 hours after the replacement and they claimed it was my fault it cracked and charged me another $50 to replace it. They refused to consider my situation and how many times I had to return for defective screens. I emailed the company and have had no response from management. I strongly do not recommend using Columbia irepair for any fixes. It seems they kept fixing my phone and then finding ways to charge me for defective screens. They completely lack in customer service skills, consideration for defective products, and consumer satisfaction. read more

While the reviews for repairs seem to be glowing and I have little doubt they might be deserved, my experience did not go as well. I dropped 3 laptops off to be evaluated for iRepair to buy from me. It seems that iRepair is not as concerned with the customers that are selling as they are the ones buying from them. After 2 days and not a peep from them I went to see what was going on. I wanted to look in their eyes. I went in originally with the expectation of getting a quote that day, or at the latest the next day, but more than 2 days?. It has been a little disappointing to say the least. I frankly think he didn't even bother to check the laptops, that they just sat in a back room forgotten until I showed up. The worst part is. after 2 days of hearing nothing, the guy tried to rip me off. He offered me 50 bucks for 3 laptops, one of which I have an offer from an online source for $147. Yes, I'm not stupid. I did shop around before dropping them off. I just wanted to go local. So much for that. I do not recommend iRepair for any services, because if you are going to be shady about one part of the business, then you probably will be for other parts. read more

Horrible service I dropped my phone off they were very rude putting people who dropped their stuff after me before my order then when they finally did it I got my phone back and now my home button is messed up and I text them to tell them they told me to bring it to look at it I drove 45 mins for their rudeness to tell me they can't do anything now except change it and then I won't have Touch ID and I told them it didn't happen until I brought it in there he wouldn't even look at me was very rude I will never go back and wouldn't Suggest anyone does unless u like shitty work and customer service read more

Got my phone fixed here a week ago for $150 which I thought was a good deal. I went out of town for the weekend and the top half of the phone completely stopped working. Eventually the entire screen stopped responding and I was without a phone while out of town. This exact thing happened to a friend but thought I would give them a chance. Complete waste of time and money and will never be going back. P.S. I was stranded in Nashville and couldn't get an uber so I walked 2 miles in heels. read more

My phone had two hairline cracks. Worked perfectly. Only replacing for cosmetic reasons. When I got it back it immediately begin to glitch and power off. They blamed the phone. Bad battery. iPhone recall. Power management issues. My phone had none of these issues prior to them working on it. They kept trying all these fixes but they had already destroyed it when replacing the screen. I had to buy a new phone. They took no responsibility for the issue. read more

I took my iphone in with a broken screen and it took 4 hours for them to replace it and the screen they put in didn't work at all. I called them 30 min before closing hours and they refused to pick up the phone because they are lazy workers. So I returned early the next day hoping they would replace it fast since they messed it up but I ended up waiting another 4 hours and the screen still glitches. I would recommend going to iGenie even though it costs 25$ more it gets done in under 20min and the screens he uses aren't awfully produced Chinese bullshit! read more

There are much better and professional places in Columbia, for a the level of service and professionalism. Columbia iRepair may be the cheapest but there's a reason for that, quality is not as good. Had heard bad stories from friends that have used their services and lucky I didn't go. It's worth to pay a little bit extra to get it done right then cheaply for a cheap price, especially when you're trusting them with your phone. read more

Cracked my phone and they charged $100 for replacement. What they don't tell you is it's not an apple product screen and the screen will scratch extremely easily as well as break easier. Second time I brought it in 2 weeks later after their cheap screen cracked, they charged $90 and gave me a case and tempered glass to go with it. Got my phone fixed again by Columbia iRepair. They are always very friendly, and do their work very fast. Parking is great as well. Super easy to find and spots always available. Called in to have the back glass on my phone replaced and had a great experience. They were able to order the replacement part with no problems. I showed up to have it replaced and had to wait about 10 minutes before anyone could help me (I was the only customer there). They were finally able to help me and they ordered me a pink back glass (my phone is black). When I ordered the part they said they were ordering black. The guy asked me if this was fine and I said no because I had ordered black. Then the guy told me that black would cost more. I said this was fine and I'd wait for black, then he proceeded to look online and told me they only sell pink. Why would you waste my time making me believe I was getting what I wanted? If this wasn't possible from the start why wouldn't you just tell me? I did end up getting a refund for the part I ordered but I'm frustrated with the fact that they wasted my time making me think that I was getting what I wanted. read more

I have had the worst experience imaginable with Columbia iRepair. I cracked my screen for the first time ever and brought it in to them. After I got it back the finger print stopped working and the screen would go black or flicker and have those colored lines going all down it. After about 5 times of going there to have them attempt to fix what they broke there they finally got the fingerprint working. However, the screen was still constantly glitching. I was too exhausted to keep going back there so I just decided to suck it up and deal with the glitching... until that got so bad it became unusable. When I went back I was told that it was no longer under warranty and that I would have to pay more money again to fix what they broke!!!!! Terrible, terrible experience. read more

This place is unprofessional and has very bad customer service. The part I got poor quality and didn't work well. The owner of the store blamed me and said it was past my ability to use. He also,somehow, found out my age and where I was from even though he never met me which is just creepy. Before you go to this shop, which is inside a tattoo palor, just flush $80 down the toilet. Then you won't have to deal with the horrible customer service and you'll get just about the same quality of work, which is basically nothing. read more

The were able to get the repair very fast, which was nice. They were also pretty friendly. However, the fast service leads to bad or sloppy repairs. When I got my device back, the glass near the top was not bonded completely. This led to fish eye look on my front facing camera, that only could be fixed by pressing down the top half of the not bonded portion of the class. Also a month after getting the repair a perfect rectangle of my touch screen no longer worked. I looked this up, and it appears to be a digitizer problem. Which means they probably rushed while putting the new screen together. I tried talking to the people who fixed it a couple weeks after, but they said I should have gotten a warranty on the screen, which was something they never told me about. Else I would have purchased it because phone screens are things prone to failure. Without the warranty they said there was nothing they could do, even though the problems were a result of their bad service. Will never come here again. read more
