Where do I begin. I recently endured an extremely anxiety-inducing situation at the Supreme gym facility where another member (picture is included) nearly physically assaulted and verbally abused me. The employees at this location sided with the hostile gym member (later on in the altercation the gym member made it obvious that she has an external friendship with the supervisor, Sarah Claunts). Sarah Claunts, the day time gym supervisor, spoke to me in a condescending and sarcastic manner while I explained to her the situation. Long story short: I played music softly (emphasis on softly because the volume was less than halfway on) while warming up in an open workout studio. The hostile gym member was on the opposite end of the room doing their workout. As soon as they heard my music, they immediately started screaming "NO NO TURN YOUR MUSIC OFF I AM NOT GOING TO HEAR IT". Considering the individual was so hostile, I ignored them and turned my music down. The individual then began to approach me while saying "IM SPEAKING ENGLISH DONT YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH?! TURN IT OFF". At this point, the individual was now hovering over me while I sat on the ground, all while they clenched their fist and screamed so aggressively I even felt spit come out of their mouth. I explained this situation to the staff, even recorded the situation, and all they could say was delete the footage and don't play music or record ANYTHING/ANYONE in our facility. I immediately sent an email to Columbia association explaining and they could not even apologize for the way I was treated. All they asked was to speak on the phone. I said I wanted to speak through email and they did not want to continue investigating this matter. Attached are photos of the obvious hostile member and how close they were to hitting me. I don't know how else to go about this matter besides warning other people to avoid Columbia in its entirety. I blocked the individuals eyes to protect their identity. Columbia Association should be the entity held accountable for this. read more

I hate Columbia associations much. do not get a membership the people who sign you up make commission and will lie to you over the phone then have you sign a 20 page contract where is says hidden all the actual rules. they are a bunch of scammers I highly recommend joining any other association. read more

Customer service for membership is bad. They do not give you options when your membership lapse, even for 1 day. And day passes are expensive, because today is a holiday, fee for three people at an outdoor pool was $88.00!! No accountability, this is not a community association is a business that do not care for Columbia residents. read more

Outdoor swimming pools are poorly managed especially Swansfield Pool which boasts a mini water park with big slide. Problem is is the slide is rarely open due to understaffing. So many times kids have been disappointed after driving all the way over here to find the slide is closed. Hire more staff and manage the staff you have!! read more

CA has a new trick, offer a good rate, don't talk about annual contracts and related penalties( Buyout fees). Customer service is miserable, no accountability, no nothing. Please be careful before signing up. read more

After being a member for 4 years my club was randomly discontinued. When I called in to membership services for assistance, I was connected with Jennifer Wilke. She proceeded to tell me that "I should have read the contract i signed up for", And that all she could do was cancel my membership but not until I paid for my full year term. I wanted to join but before I took that step I did very careful research and this is what I found. In November 2018 global oil production reached a peak that has not been reached again in over four years; suburbia in general is very petroleum dependent, therefore not a good investment as it will not degrade gracefully. CA appears to be the source of much PR about how Columbia is the safest place in the US but not too long ago I heard gunshots and found out in the news that someone nearby was killed; why should I support a propaganda machine like CA which endangers people by concealing risks? Every year Columbia becomes more of a ghetto; CA's obsolete photo archive about Columbia's 1980s glory does not interest me in the least. Columbia Association's leadership is questionable at best; the CEO Lakey Boyd story should convince anyone they are just a bunch of Karens. Treasures like Calvin Ball are really HoCo specifically Columbia, I think I will concentrate on Jessup which has better value considering it is not saddled with a high-cost, low-value organization, CA. read more

So, the website still sucks, my password occasionally just stops working and it's always a multi-call expedition with customer service to get it fixed. But I regularly use the Columbia Gym location in Clarksville and the desk staff are super friendly. My trainer James is top notch and the yoga classes with Roger are very good. It's my local gym now and while I'm still wish they would invest in their IT systems the facilities and staff have won me over to a better review. read more

No issues. Ample parking. The building is shared with other businesses. CA main door is located to your immediate left as you enter the building. My interaction was brief. I solely needed a replacement card for the gym. I haven't gotten a new one in 12yrs. The new cards are basic, no pic. Pics are now stored on the computer. $5 if you've received a replacement before (I hadn't so that fee was waved). The card also has a mini card for your key chain which is very helpful. I plan on connecting that to a lanyard and connecting it to my gym bag. read more

I joined CA last year when I moved to Columbia Maryland made payments till October missed November and December well when I wanted to rejoin this year I was told I only need to pay $80 to bring my membership up to date then when I called again to make payment I was told that I need to pay $240 for November December January, February, March, April rejoin CA membership this is totally unacceptable no wonder most of my neighbors are not CA members now I know why CA policies are terrible and horrible ,why pay for services you do not used you pay for what you use not what you don't use... read more

This is the main center for the Columbia Association. It is a very nice building and location to be in. I came up here to help my son fill out a job application. The attendant at the front desk is kind of anal. Even though she gave us a application, I didn't like the fact that when I was speaking to her, she kept cutting me off. Terrible customer service - I spoke to the representative on the phone who told me that if I signed up for membership online I would receive one month free of charge. When I noticed that my account was charged during the promised "free month" I contacted them and was told that they didn't know who I spoke to, but I was given incorrect information and nothing could be done at that point. I suggest additional training to the call center representatives on customer service and current promotions. Very dissatisfied. read more
