$9.50 for the stalest bagel I've ever eaten in my life and a 16oz coffee out of one of those automatic dispensers they have in hotels. Took 1 bite of my bagel and threw it away. Guy working behind the counter was nice and the decor is beautiful but this is a hard bass. read more

UPDATED REVIEW -- I meant to give my review below 3 stars, not 4 stars. The cupcake that I had in 2022 was too big and tasted just fine. Also, I had a bagel here was that was toasted with just butter and it was $5 which was a surprising cost (expensive) since the bagel didn't have any protein (such as an egg) or other toppings in it. I've also tried a muffin and a cookie I believe which were good/normal. I don't work in this building anymore so I most likely won't be back anytime because finding parking downtown is hard. read more

Visited Colossal Cafe today with my coworkers to get some coffee and bagels. The worker was hard to understand, was very slow, and didn't know how to work the latte machine. She told me she couldn't get the machine to work, so we left. One cupcake is $5 and a latte is $5.25. I don't think we'll be visiting again. read more

I wish I would have Been able to try this place. The cupcakes in the display look so good. I went here at 9:45 tonight Thursday 8/29/24, and the door was locked. I knocked on the glass but the lady behind the register wouldn't acknowledge me or lookup from her phone. The hours say 10pm close. I am visiting from out of town and was told good things. I understand that I came later in the day, and I would have purchased and left- not hung around. but if your hours say 10, you should be available until 10. Or have the courtesy to look up and tell me that you already closed. read more

Small flying insects in baked goods display. Yes, bugs in display cabinets is all too common these days, so fix it! Latte was very good. Bagel was okay. I was the only person in the store from open(9:30) to 10:00. I doubt this satellite location lasts and the bug issue reflects poorly on the franchise. Value ... medium to fair. Positives... nice storefront, good music level, respectful counter staff. read more

Colossal Cafe - Bagels Near Me - Cleveland, Ohio

This is the cutest cafe!!! It's storefront is on E 9th Street and there is an entrance in the mall that is connected to the Westin. The two employees that served us (I wish I had gotten there names) were so nice and helpful. The store is so cute and they have a meeting or party room that is equally as sweet. The lattes, hot chocolate and bagels were delicious and the candy wall is a must! We will definitely be return next time we're in Cleveland. read more

Do not order anything or get anything here. Lattes were horrible. Cupcakes didn't have sugar in it. I had to spit it out. The worst $25 I ever spent on. Skip it and go to Dunkin Donuts instead if you're craving for coffee or sweets. read more

This was a total disappointment. First visit at 7:30, not open. People are going to work early, especially in the Federal Building next door. Not being open until 8:00 results in a lot of lost business. Second visit, totally ridiculous prices. A bagel and a cup of coffee for almost $9? I don't think so. Nothing is marked and I had to ask for prices on every item. The cream cheese has to be spread by the salesperson, none in those small containers, so you can't control the amount. The cupcakes are anything but "colossal", but rather pretty small. The coffee was nothing great. I'll walk a little further and get a Dunkin's coffee and donut next time. read more

Amazing second location that's downtown but with a full coffee menu and cafe foods! It's such a chic and beautiful space not something you see in Cleveland like you would in nyc or la! The cupcakes are huge and delicious. Every morning they fill the case with giant oversized fresh bagels, macarons, cookies, muffins etc. work a few buildings down and my entire team can't say enough good things. Customer service is great I saw the owner and spoke to her a couple of times she was super sweet as well as the manager and gentlemen that makes the sandwiches and breakfast items. They are all just really cool and fun which is nice to see these days especially. My favorite thing about the shop is that they have a giant wall of candy in adorable sparkly bags we always take turns stocking our office with the colossal cafe candy! read more

Worked nearby for awhile, this was my first time inside. The decor is super cute the cupcakes are super fresh and borderline addictive. And considering how expensive things are nowadays, the price of $6 I found to be rather reasonable for Downtown. Everyone should come check this place out!! read more
