I went to Amy for dip. (Ive seen Helen 2 times before, never had an issue with Helen in fact she's really good.) Amy completely ruined my nails. They're lumpy uneven shapes and jagged on the sides. Not to mention the top clear coat isn't even. I'm so upset for waisting my time and money. If you dont know how to do a good job at dip nails, then don't try until you've trained yourself properly. read more

We went right when they opened at 9:30am as walk-ins, and everyone was really kind and welcoming. I got dip done, and my nail tech was fast and efficient. I originally was going to a different nail salon but they were to busy to take me as a walk in. I saw this place driving down the street and I decided to stop without researching the place. To my surprise this place was completely empty and I was on a rush to get a new set of acrylic nails. The nail technician Deedee was so fast and pretty skilled doing the "ombre look" which I loved and I was so satisfied with the result. However, within 2 days I noticed that some of the nail bed edges where coming off and by the end of the week at least 3 of my nails became at risk to get caught on something and completely rip off my nail. I ended up going to different nail salon where they promised they will fix it by filling them and fill them in. Needless to say, the acrylic nails pretty much came off by cutting a little with a nail clipper and lifting them up. There was no saving them! Nail technician said that "they use cheap powder". I wish I had taken a picture of the mess this end up to be but I rarely write reviews.. read more

We ask the lady in the pic if she can turn off the light from the lamp because was right straight in my face and this lady on the picture just ignore us,looks really mad and start talking in Vietnamese When they saw me taking the picture they quickly turn off the light from the lamp. People can be sensitive with bright lights and they should understand. God forbid you have a broken nail.... We originally came here 2 days ago to get dipped nails. My adult daughter is an avid dip nail customer. She started getting me to dip my nails too and we tried this place. First frustrating thing, they start you and leave you over and over to start any one new that walks in. You play ring around the chairs switching with customers as we all start polish removal and it's not comfortable. Because they keep starting sand stopping you end up here for hours. But you now feel obligated to stay because your nails have been filed offf of all the layered color and are now sitting in foil amd plastic gloves...Even though the amount of time spent here was frustrating ai still tipped 10 bucks on my 35 dollar dipped nails. 2 days later my adult daughters nail cracked. We went in to get it fixed. I waited in the car with my dog and could see how frustrated and rushed the lady seemed. Toward the end I that maybe she was having a bad day. So I went in and gave here 5 bucks for her time. Once my daughter got in the car she told me she wished I didn't tip her and that we are never going back. She showed me her nail. She has a bunch of dip powder lodged under her nail, she told me she used a fast gel nail polish to rush the process instead of doing the normal 3 layers. And worse of all she filed her nail down to remove the 3xisting, soooo much so that her nail is see thru. She did it that way instead of removing the dip/color with nail polish remover soaked in cotton and foil. I wish I could get my tip back. Never again read more

I have been a customer at Colorful Nails for about a couple of years now and not once have I encountered any bad experiences there. However, that all changed last week. I came in asking for just regular French gel nails. I was placed in a station where Thuan Bui was at and he was extremely careless at doing my nails. The filing part was horrific because it was uneven, he did a messy job at not cleaning up the white tips of my fingernails, and on top of that, my fingers got STUCK inside the machine. Apparently, no one cared to clean the inside and there were some sticky gunk that was left over. It felt like my fingers were superglued to the machine. He had to pour acetone inside he machine and I had to wiggle my finger off. How do you not clean your machine prior to all of this? This unacceptable and careless service in my opinion. Anyway, here's the end result of my nails. My best friend saw my nails and thought it was really bad. My coworker saw my nails as well and was disgusted at them. I was so upset and disappointed and will never return here ever again. read more

Go to EMILY! She has been doing my nails for a couple months now and I am always impressed with her work and her prices! I got a acrylic fill, and she had to cut them WAY down to reshape them from another place I was forced to go to for the set (5$) and with gel polish with a pedicure, also with gel polish and it was $40 all together! That could easily be 60-70 in other places! I am also incredibly picky and she never rolls her eyes when I ask to correct something. They are remodeling at the moment so it definitely is looking in better shape. Only giving four stars because they don't have as many colors as I would like for gel. They have a lot, but I've seen places with hundreds so don't expect that. read more

This place is really small, nothing really pretty about it, and in a little center off Warner. I love getting my nails done here. The women are always so friendly when working with you, and it's a comfortable atmosphere. I love how my nails turn out, and even if I'm ever unhappy with something, they fix it right away! I tend to get full sets with gel and you can't beat the price. Some other salons charge more for the coffin shape, but the cost is the same no matter what shape you choose at this salon. However, I walked in and the sign clearly says, WALK-INS WELCOME, and they asked me to come back tomorrow. If they close at 7pm they need to accept walk ins up until 7pm. Logic customer service!!! I do not normally go here, but the place I go to was booked. This was my first time coming here and most definitely my LAST! I got a 20 manicure gel. Places that i've gone in the past normally last about an hour, including my massage. Massage here felt force as if she did not want to do it and was about 1 minute on each hand. She didn't even clean up my cuticles. I had one acrylic nail because i had taken them off and that specific one would rip the length from my nails and sure enough she yanked it off (which i could have done at home). My sister-in-law introduced me to this place and I've been coming here ever since! The ladies here are nice and I like to talk to them while they're give me pedicures/manicures. They have a variety of nail polish colors to choose from (as most nail places should). The price here is very reasonable and they even give you a little massage before they start painting your nails! The part where they rub a hot rock over my legs is my favorite part! It's $15 for only a pedi or mani but $24 for both pedi and mani together :) Pretty sweet deal, I like to take my girlfriends here too. Everything is pretty much done in an hour if it's not too busy. They take their time on you, so check it out. Read a magazine and use the massage chairs while you pamper yourself away :) read more
