They worked to diagnose with us over the phone before ever coming out, attempting to save us money due to a predatory company trying to take advantage of us. When it was determined that a tow was necessary, they got us to a place of safety first, then came and picked up the truck, the trailer, 4 people and a dog and transported us all back to their shop in Alamosa. They had our truck ready by the end of the next day. Their prices were more than reasonable, but it was their customer service in dealing with us throughout this situation that is prompting us to give them a terrific review. They were immediately helpful and promised to check out the car and call me before I needed to decide on another night's stay. True to their word, they diagnosed the issue and called me within an hour. I approved the work and they ordered a part from a nearby town. They said it could be end of the day before it was ready but that they'd get me on the road that day. I was prepared for a long sit in the motel office after I checked out of my room, but shortly after noon I got a call that the vehicle was ready. When I paid for the repairs and collected my keys, Don said that they do their best to take care of out-of-towners because they know it's a hardship to be stranded in a strange town. The repair was perfect, and the new battery they recommended should be good for several years to come. I was home in time for dinner. You cannot beat that kind of service and kindness. I went to this place twice, and both times I scheduled an appointment three weeks out. Each time, I…read morearrived on time first thing in the morning and dropped my car off, only to call at 4:30 p.m. (one hour before closing) and be told they had not even brought my car into the shop. I was then expected to leave my car overnight, which was a huge inconvenience, especially since all I needed was a simple oil change and front brake pads. Despite that experience, I decided to give Automotive Concepts Inc. another chance. Once again, I was told I needed to schedule an appointment. This time, I specifically asked to be scheduled on a day that was relatively empty and explained my frustration from the first visit, including having to leave my car overnight. I was assured that this would not be an issue and that they would be able to get to my car since that day was "wide open." I dropped my car off on the scheduled day first thing in the morning and did not hear back from the shop at all. I called again at 4:30 p.m., one hour before they closed, only to be told--once again--that they had not touched the car and it was still sitting where I left it. They started offering excuses, but at that point I was done hearing them. I told them not to touch the vehicle because I was not in a position to leave my car overnight again. When I arrived to pick it up, I was met with attitude. The owner slammed my keys on the counter and made a comment along the lines of "sorry, but I'm not perfect." That response was completely unprofessional. This is a business, with a receptionist and staff. At the very least, someone could have called to say they weren't going to get to the car that day so I could come pick it up, instead of tying up my entire day waiting without a vehicle. My time is money too, and it was completely wasted--twice. If you know you can't get to a customer's vehicle or don't have enough staff to keep up with the workload, don't take the car in. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.

I called Absolute Shine Auto Body and Paint after speaking with my insurance company and Debbie said bring it on in! They took my estimate from the insurance company, gave me a loaner vehicle and said they would take care of the car, claim and insurance payments and call me when my vehicle was done. The loaner car was extremely nice, safe and exactly what I needed for my me and my babies. Upon picking up my vehicle Debbie walked me through and gave me printouts of each sub estimate, repairs and alignment reports. They had to replace my front bumper and went above and beyond to find a used Infiniti bumper rather than what the insurance company suggested. They also repaired my drivers side door that was dented in and replaced it with a new one. They repaired all sensors and technical gadgets that were destroyed in the crash. They were able to mix the exact color of paint and matched the color perfectly! Debbie took the time to walk me through the repair process step by step with my daughters which was more than impressive and professional because I was able to see exactly how meticulous they are about the work that they do. Well done and highly recommended. I will always continue to use Absolute Shine not only because of the work they did but because of their outstanding dedication to providing their customers with the best service possible. Thank you!

Besides the long wait and the inconsistent rates, I'm afraid that the mechanics are dishonest and done harm to my car as I was told it had valve cover leaks and i had them replaced not long ago. There is no visible evidence that the car leaks oil. It hasn't before I brought it in. I voiced that it was unreasonable to charge me $21 more for the same as few months ago. They made me wait at least 20 min and then just said "this is life." Extremely unplesant experience and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.
