Colorado Recovery provides services in the community to adults with serious mental illness that will stabilize their illness, minimize symptoms, improve functioning, and enhance each person's social inclusion, quality of life, and sense of meaning in life. We offer 24-hour care 7 days a week in our residential treatment facility, transitional living, and daily intensive outpatient services.
We help clients live productively with schizophrenia, bipolar, and other psychotic disorders by providing psychiatric services, case management. medication management and monitoring, group and individual therapy, socialization, and recreation activities, supported employment and education support. We work with adults including college students to help them create an individualized program tailored to their needs and long-term goals.

History
Established in 2006.
Opened in 2006 by Dr, Richard Warner, a world-renowned psychiatrist specializing in community-based treatment for adults with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder as well as those with a co-occurring substance use. The business has expanded from an 8-bed 24/7 residential intensive treatment program to also include transitional living and intensive outpatient services in central Boulder.
Meet the Manager: Ruth A.
Ruth has over 40 years of experience in community mental health, specializing in working with adults with serious mental illness, and was privileged to work under the original founder of Colorado Recovery, Dr. Richard Warner, for most of that time. Colorado Recovery is an employee-owned company since 2014.
