When I asked for an example of strategic roadmap or for a list of what was included in it they would not give me a direct answer. They pontificated about how it depends on clients situation and said it's a heady and complicated subject. They were very prompt in sending me requests for payment after every interaction I had with them but didn't answer a single one of my questions asking what was included in their services. My experience aligns with the poor reviews here. They like to say "our teams knowledge and experience makes what we charge worth it". But I'm sorry saying that you're knowledgeable does not make it so. When they can't even show a basic understanding of what a good financial plan should include by at a minimum putting into a list what it includes for potential clients that does not instill confidence.

As the operational director of a small non-profit, I was at a loss when it came to developing a…read morenewsletter through which we could reach our donors. I wanted to be able to keep our donors advised, regarding our operations and those of our associated non-profits. Courtney saved the day. We sat down, talked about what I wanted to be able to do, and selected a platform that would work for my non-profit...one that was affordable, flexible and easy to use. Then she spent the better part of a day tutoring me, guiding me as together we created the first newsletter. I had a lot of questions; she patiently answered them all. Since that time -- it's been about 3-4 years now -- she's always made herself available to critique my publications and to help when I find myself painted into a corner. What I like most about Courtney's approach is her inclination to teach rather than to do it herself and leave me, the customer, without the know-how to carry on. In my way of thinking, this is what consulting should look like. Thanks, Courtney!

Poppins Payroll has saved me so much time and worry! I recently had to hire a temporary nanny when…read moremy son was waitlisted for daycare and the thought of having to *legally* manage a household employee was so daunting. We only needed our nanny for 3 months but wanted to do the right thing and make sure we paid her properly and had a contract in place (I used their template). Hiring our nanny and setting everything up was so simple. The cost is nominal and the peace of mind that I am doing everything above board is worth using their services. When I needed help and sent an email to customer service, Aimee S. was quick to respond and answer all my questions. They assist with all tax filings and send reminders when those are due. The ability to cancel/pause my account until I have a new household employee is a great feature. I'm happy I found them and would recommend them to anyone who needs help like I did.

This experience was one of the most disheartening and damaging I've had with a professional. I…read moresought support during a time of deep vulnerability, navigating early motherhood while trying to cope with an emotionally abusive dynamic with my co-parent. I turned to this coach in hopes of getting guidance, protection, and clarity. Instead, I found myself in a mediation session where I was discouraged from seeking legal counsel before signing an agreement. When I expressed discomfort and the session became hostile, I left the call. What I later heard on the recording shocked me. Not only did the coach continue the session without me, but he made comments that appeared to praise the verbal abuse I had just experienced, saying things like "I kinda liked that" in reference to what was said to me. He also made inappropriate comments about my personal identity, suggesting I should change my sexuality because I didn't trust men. This went far beyond unprofessional. It felt like a deep betrayal of trust. He speaks about helping men access their divine masculinity, but from what I experienced, his approach seemed to fuel entitlement, control, and the justification of harm under the guise of spiritual leadership. What I witnessed was not a call to integrity. It was a reinforcement of power imbalances, where accountability was bypassed and abuse was minimized. I also learned the hard way the difference between a coach and a licensed therapist. If there is any form of abuse involved, I strongly urge others to seek a qualified relationship therapist who is trained to navigate those dynamics safely and ethically. If you are in a vulnerable season, please proceed with extreme care.
