(Survey of existing property and building location.) I can highly recommend them for any work in the Evergreen and surrounding areas. (My surveys were in Clear Creek County, Colorado) The only other review, at this time, posted here, which is extremely negative, I suspect is for a different company, in a different state, as there are several companies with similar names and located in different states. I live in an area consisting of smaller communities and would be attuned to local feedback, particularly any negative feedback.

Gave him a general answer since the only other surveyor who called me back was from Windsor. JB made several negative comments about my location description being "way off". I ignored the comments and proceeded to describe the job, trying to explain how easy it would be. JB immediately went off on me, (quote) "DO NOT TELL ME HOW TO DO MY JOB, HOW DIFFICULT IT WILL BE, OR WHAT IS REQUIRED." Conversation was extremely rude until all the information was obtained and he somewhat calmed down and asked me to email him the data. Completely inappropriate way to respond to a potential client. Verbal abuse is catching. I work very hard for my income and the ability to make six figure improvements on my property. I refuse to contribute to someone who would speak to another human being in this manner. I hope this individual gets the therapy they need and stays far away from women and children who might suffer ill affects from their toxic behavior. Do not judge a book by its cover. The next time you get a call from a young female client, I hope you take them seriously.

In July we had a major 40,000 gallon leak in our crawl space - a crawl space that had been…read moreencapsulated to meet LEED standards when built 8 years ago. The 20mil poly was now serving as a pool liner to the deluge of water that had occurred. In order to help move the water out, that liner had to be cut out and then the ground had to dry out before figuring out how to replace it. After contacting a few other companies, I met with Sebastian from HomeStrong. He walked through our crawl space (5' high) and determined how to best repair and get the place back to its original condition. We chose HomeStrong because Sebastian made us feel comfortable, showed us what we could expect and gave us a team who could get the job done the following week. And the pricing was very competitive. Also, it is a family owned company - having our own family business, we really like supporting other families with businesses too. We could not be happier with the results. The project took a little more than 3 days. The team - Daniel & Christian - took such great pride in their work that once the poly was installed, they took their shoes off every time to keep the ground clean! And the encapsulation is even BETTER than it was before. The products they use are top notch. AND the color is WHITE which makes everything look so clean!! A side note here: Not having had exposed ground under our home before, the difference in the humidity and coolness in the house was directly impacted by that exposed ground, even after drying it out for a month prior to reinstalling the encapsulation system. We had a difficult time getting the house to cool less than 73º. Once poly was replaced, the house immediately cooled down and was much more comfortable. Had no idea the impact the encapsulation had been providing! A big shout out and thank you to Sebastian, Daniel & Christian for helping us get our crawl space even better than before! He explained the full process of what to expect from beginning to end, as well as which survey would be needed for court. I was not aware but the survey is filed with the city and it is valid for life. You can have improvement surveys completed, but the LSP will definitively mark the property boundaries and a formal marker is placed. He was very clear about their calendar availability and upfront about their cost. They were my top choice, but due to timing, we went with a different company because they could start sooner. Due to the nature of the dispute, police involvement and a new fence pending - time was the #1 factor for our decision

I live in Leydon Rock so a lot of businesses just see dollar signs. I need a simple survey done in an established neighborhood where it should be easy to determine boundary lines. I don't need a new survey filed. I just need to establish where the boundary lines are. The job should cost less than a thousand dollars at the most. But I was quoted $1,500 dollars plus the cost of filing a survey report that I don't need. I have a survey report that I will hand to the surveyor for reference to find and mark clear boundaries on my property. That should not cost $1,500 dollars plus filing fees. The business owner wrote a reply so let me clarify. If I erred in stating that the $1500 included the cost of filing a survey report then that makes the estimate of $1,500 without a survey report filing even more egregious. That means that he intended for me to pay $1,500 PLUS a filing fee for an official survey report. The owner states that the estimate is based on the size of my property but he does not not know the size of my property because he didn't ask and he says he is not familiar with Leydon Rock which has thousands of homes in the neighborhood. Curious that he is unfamiliar with such a large area. The fact is that I was quoted a high estimate without asking for any real details and that in and of itself is troubling, especially when the next quote I received was $500 lower. As for my venting, well I see it as educating business regarding what is acceptable customer service and acceptable pricing for service. Pay attention and learn what customers want and what we are willing to spend our hard earned money on.

When I called them to survey my daughter's residential lot in downtown Denver they showed up on the day, at the hour and to the minute they said they would be there, completed the job in less time than expected, and while there Justin explained exactly what he was doing and why. Their drawings were precise, well organized, and understandable. Even though it's difficult to precisely estimate a job because of unanticipated circumstances, their cost was exactly the same as was quoted, and compared to other Denver surveyors, was very reasonable. They will get all my Denver business !!
