    This is a friendly, convenient place to dispose of your old concrete or rocks as long as they aren't full of dirt.

    Ryan provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service! And the loaders even stayed late on a Saturday so I could get"one more load"!

Noticing this, I contacted them via phone and chat. The first customer service rep said the driver claimed the receptacle wasn't out. I told them I placed the can in the same spot the day before. I've literally placed the cans just in the driveway not far from my mailbox ever since this service started. I later learned they had a photo of the cans exactly where I always put them. They said on the first call they would pick the recycling the next day. I was angry about the driver lying, I called back and asked if anyone would be willing to take notice of the driver's claim that my receptacles weren't in the same spot ready for pick up. I was then told they wouldn't pick it up until Monday. They also advised me the cans had to be about 4 feet away from any obstacle like a mailbox. It would have been nice to know this from the very first time. We now have a driver or his helper who can't be bothered to walk about 5 feet to put it on a machine that does the lifting for them! I am cancelling them and plan to not use them in the future. I found a cheaper and better company. Guess customer service isn't that great, and we like to leave people in the dark about what the pick-up rules are. This is why we don't see many blue trash cans in this neighborhood. Lesson learned!

I moved to my townhome complex in late July and in early August my HOA gave the waste management's phone number so I could get a garbage can delivered to me. They said it would arrive on August 18, and it never did. Since I've lived here I've had to put my trash out without having a receptacle to put the garbage bags in, which is risky because it's only a matter of time before a stray animal rips open a bag and spreads trash everywhere. Today I called waste management to inquire about the garbage can and found out that when they "deliver" a garbage can to a new home owner, they simply drop it off on the curb--they don't bring it to the front door or even to the garage area, which is where the garbage is picked up weekly. This means that when they dropped my garbage can off in August, somebody else most likely took it. So I asked if they could send me a new one, and the man I talked to sounded a little unenthusiastic--no apology for the fact that I've been without it for almost two months, but said yes, it would be delivered between five and 10 business days from now. I asked him if there was any way they could let me know when it was arriving so I could go out to the curb to get it and he said no. This means that unless I'm on guard constantly during business hours for the next two weeks, I stand a huge chance of the dumb garbage can being taken by someone else again. My unit doesn't face the street, so I have no way of seeing it if it's dropped off. I'll probably end up having to buy my own damn garbage can, which is irritating because it's one of the things my HOA dues are supposed to cover. What an absolutely ridiculous and unaccommodating way to do business.

From other reviews, it looks like Republic is going to charge me $40 to pick up their own containers. They consistently miss trash pickup and refuse to collect bags that have overflowed. I witnessed one of their employees carelessly throw several bags and whip an open bag of trash across the street in our complex. This inconsiderate behavior is unacceptable, especially considering that they start their service at an inconvenient hour for residents. 6 in the morning is BLASPHEMOUS.
