They offer a ticket discount every Tuesday, all day, and also have showings of classic movies on Wednesdays and Sundays. The theater is busy but usually not crowded. It's easy to buy tickets on line to reserve your seats, and they feature all the current movies. We saw both Project Hail Mary and Marty Supreme there! There's a lot of free parking and the theater is handicapped accessible. We highly recommend this GTC theater!

I already bought my ticket online before coming which made it easier. They have a couple kiosks in front to buy or scan tickets, and to buy any extra things like snacks and drinks. The lobby was pretty small in front but it had everything it needed. The seats are very nice! I can't remember when's the last time I've been to a movie theater with nice recliners. You can recline it pretty far back and there's still enough space for people to pass by your seat. The seats were so spacious and comfy, I loved it. And even though I was reclined a little, I still had a great view of the screen. Service was great, they were fast, friendly, and helpful too. I have no complaints, I had a wonderful experience and I would definitely come back here.

We purchased our tickets online and then you scan them at the front and a ticket prints off. We had trouble with the first kiosk but we moved to a different one and it worked well. We ordered our concessions there too so when we got to the concession line and showed the ticket it was ready right away. No flexibility, no understanding -- just a cold "you're too late" and that was it. To make matters worse, they wouldn't even issue a refund or a credit. We didn't get to see the movie, and we didn't get our money back. Instead, we got attitude and rudeness from the staff, who acted like we were the problem for expecting even a basic level of customer service. I get that there are policies, but there's a difference between following rules and being completely unhelpful and disrespectful. There was no signage warning about a hard cutoff, no heads-up when we bought tickets, nothing. Just an expensive lesson in how NOT to treat paying customers. Save your time and money -- go literally anywhere else.

AMC Chattanooga 18 have switched to reservation and on their website, it will not allow you to reserve a seat next to another party. They are enforcing social distancing. I was surprised to find out that when we got to the movies, the parking lot was semi-empty. Pre-pandemic, this movie theater on the weekends was always packed. Often times, you had to park quite a ways. But on this day, we parked close to the entrance and in the theater itself there were a total of 5 people. The concession stand was open, it looked like you could get everything served. I opted out getting anything at the concession stand. From the time we walked in to the time we left, we had a great experience. The employees were all wearing their masks and gloves and very professional. As a movie goer myself, I am glad that movie theaters have slowly reopened their doors.

Firstly, the movie was unbearably loud, to the point where it was uncomfortable to sit through the entire screening. It's surprising that a theater would neglect such a basic aspect of creating an enjoyable movie-watching environment. I even complained to an employee and they did nothing. To make matters worse, the theater itself was in a deplorable state. It was dirty, with noticeable grime and litter scattered throughout the seats and aisles. The overall condition of the theater felt old and run-down, clearly in dire need of a major renovation. The carpets looked worn, the seats were uncomfortable, and the general atmosphere was uninviting. In summary, my visit to AMC Theater 18 was highly disappointing. I hope management addresses these issues soon, as the theater has potential if given the proper attention and care. This is an older theater and really needs a cleaning and remodeling. Some of the seats are broken and damaged. Whatever you do don't take a uv light in here and look around as I did. See the photos if you dare.

The show here was kind a like a play if you ask me complete with 4 actors and 4 actresses and even a piano player. It lasted for about an hour and a half. It was funny with some skits that even made you laugh. They probably had 4 or 5 skits and each was ended simply by someone running around the stage. Then, they would act out a different scene. I guess this is the improv way. They have a web site where you can check their schedule for upcoming events. Yeah, I would go back again, you bet.
