Unlike the others here, I have had a pleasant experience overall. My fiance had no complaints to, our saleswoman was Rita. We never had to go in person, all was done over the phone, the selection looked exactly as we picked from a sample photo. Measurements on a Saturday. The templater arrived on time, very experienced & helpful with our decision making on the table & cart that would also get granite tops. We had the install a week later also on a Saturday. No additional fee for weekend appointments. We went for their special - one price for up to 50 sq ft and only had to pay extra for the kitchen sink. No added fees or jacked up pricing. Exactly as ordered & priced. We had the job done last weekend. We are excited & enjoying the new look!! read more

We have been doing a complete remodel of our kitchen, and the folks at Colonial Marble and Granite have been fantastic! Special recognition goes to Rita for her patience, recommendations, and designer expertise. Thank you for making our kitchen come alive!! John and Denise read more

I visited myself (woman in 40s) and was given very little help or attention. I popped around the show room and liked a few things I saw. As I stopped to ask a question before heading out, the salesperson told me, 'sorry I was busy today. When you come back with your husband I'll make more time.' We're going with Angelo's instead and have been nothing but happy! read more

Rita was great. Easy to deal with, pleasant and she knew her stuff. Gave me a good deal. This wasn't the first or second time I've dealt with them and each time I walk away feeling like I was treated fairly. Thank you! read more

So so happy with our experience with Colonial. We've been renovating our kitchen this winter and spring and wanted to go with a natural stone countertop. We live in South Jersey and were recommended by two different friends to go to Colonial marble and granite in Philly or King of Prussia. We went after my husband got done a long day of work and we had three of our boys with us ages 8, 5 and one. We didn't exactly know what we were looking for and were met by Dennis and Carole ( I believe her name was). They were both very welcoming and Carol even offered to keep an eye on our very energetic children while we wandered the warehouse. My husband and I realized we had opposing opinions and left more frustrated with each other for not being able to decide. A few days later we went to a local place with full bellies, who had some beautiful stone but whom priced a bit higher than Colonial. Dennis kept in touch and said he could price match anything our local business offered. He was kind, prompt, and competitive without being pushy. We ended up finding a gorgeous quartzite that my husband and I were both happy with and the price was about two grand cheaper than our local spot. The delivery men were also kind and efficient with their work. The whole process was done within 2 weeks. I cannot stop admiring our gorgeous counters and will undoubtedly recommend Colonial. Dennis should get major props as well for his work ethic and friendly customer service. Thank you Colonial! read more

Cava definitely has an excellent selection of beautiful stone and tiles. But as someone who has recently gone through a kitchen and bath remodel, I wouldn't recommend this place. First, prices are high. They are all about cutting you a deal, but if you look around, even at places the next block over, the "deal" prices is way higher than the exact same product elsewhere. I mean the exact same product (same manufacturer, same size, same color, everything). Second, customer service leaves something to be desired. Once we had paid a non-refundable deposit for our granite countertops our phone calls stopped being returned and the turnaround time was a shocking 17 days from the time of templating. This really held up the project. Maybe if you are a contractor and have an established relationship with someone there this is a good place to go. But otherwise I would recommend going to Cava for ideas, but buying elsewhere. read more

If I could give no stars and review them, I would. Cava has been the most frustrating company to deal with. We ordered granite from JT in April. Tried calling him a few times- we've never heard from him again. Set up template- when guy was supposed to show he didn't. Showed up 2 days later to template. Told 7-10 days for installation. It's now 2 weeks later, today was our day! Without a kitchen for 4 weeks with 2 young kids we were so excited to get some normalcy back. Well, we waited. Was told when installation was confirmed that we were fist thing in AM. At 10:30 my hubby calls, we are told, oh, the installer is down the shore. He won't be installing your granite today. No worries, Cava. We'll just cancel the plumber who was coming. Oh, and we will cancel our tile in stallion for tomorrow too. Thanks a lot for not delivering what was promised. read more

I've so far had a good experience. Nice selection of tile and I like to walk through the warehouse to check out all the slabs of marble and granite (although there's a much bigger warehouse at their King of Prussia location). Our sells person Rita Bekas was very knowledgeable and very helpful. read more

My husband and I were very excited to come here, as they have a wonderful selection & we're building a brand new house, so we need tile for all of the bathrooms and then countertops. Our sales person, Rita, could NOT have made it more uncomfortable for us. She immediately asked us upon arrival if we had made an appt and when we said yes, she couldn't have been more annoyed. We spent an hour there and even though we fell in love with a lot of stuff they had, I will NEVER go back. Do yourself a favor and heed all of the warnings in the previous reviews - go somewhere else. read more

I don't even recommend walking into this place, the whole set up is beautiful don't get me wrong, but they suck as a business. They didn't greet me what so ever. I walked to the front and there was only one person working and she didn't even say a word. I assumed she was busy, so I walked around twice passing the same lady at the front desk, it didn't take long for me to noticed that she was just completely rude. Places like this does not deserve my business! read more

They deserve zero stars, not even one. After they screwed up and recurrently scheduled and rescheduled the wrong "crew" to install our countertop - forcing us to miss work to be home for the installation - they finally appeared 2 months after our order to install. They broke the switch to the garbage disposal and told us our garbage disposal was too old, broke, needs replacement. We bought a new one for $320.00. We got the maintenance crew from the condo; they identified that Colonial broke the switch, and we need an electrician to fix it. $75 charge for maintenance. Now I have a $320 garbage disposal I can't return and will need another $200 for the electrician. I called Colonial Marble and their machine put me on a 30 minute hold which did not permit me to speak with a proper person. I'm sitting here waiting for them to call me back. Zero stars. Lousy service. Terrible service. I wish I'd never called them. read more

Great selection but the absolute worst service of almost any company I've ever dealt with. Out of the 7times had had someone from Colonial come to my home, only the first person who did the layout showed up on time & on the correct day! They damaged a new cabinet when installing countertop. I had to order a new cabinet with they paid for but it took 8 weeks to make. It took them 3 times to correctly fit a piece between upper & lower countertop. I've talked to people who work for Colonial & they told me the service department is a mess. read more

Absolutely horrible experience! My sink actually came unglued in 6 months and damaged my brand new cabinets. I fought with the company to come back out and fix it free of charge, which was just incredible since they were not only responsible for half-assed work but damaging expensive new cabinets that I should have held them liable for as well. While they were here, I also pointed out a few chips already in the cut of the Ogee edge. They wouldn't fix them without charging (again only 6 months after install). Now a year and a half in my Ogee edge is chipping everywhere. Clearly it causes weakness in the cut which is a shame since you pay so much more for it and they should probably explain that. I guess I'm stuck with a countertop that looks 20 years older then it is. Be sure to tell everyone it's from colonial. i've gone to Troy Granite in Delaware and had a much better experience since then. I will never go to colonial again. read more

This place is a complete scam. I was given a quote for some tile that the gentleman wrote down on paper for me of $620 all in. When I called to order the tile another gentleman had to call me back, when he did the price jumped to $785. After a back and forth exchange which left me feeling like I was an annoyance more than a customer I decided to take my business elsewhere. Which resulted in me obtaining the exact same tile for $445 delivered! Needless to say I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I liked. If you choose this place do some shopping around before finalizing anything. read more

Rudest people and worst customer service I've ever experienced! From the old ladies who sit at the front desk, to Mike (the obnoxious salesman), no one was helpful or remotely friendly. I couldn't run out of this place fast enough!! read more

I should have listened to the reviews here. Fantastic selection and the only place i found the marble i wanted but they are a bit like used car salesman from a pricing perspective. Then when it came to install, they digital templated the wrong piece of stone for my island, mis-measured island and cut the marble wrong for island - two times!! how does that happen (installer was very disconnected from team back at shop cutting). They made it right in the end after much aggravation and having to take off work to wait for them. Never again. read more

There are lots of wonderful places that have a great selection of tile and stone. What sets places apart is "customer service". CAVA offers zero in that department. Does not deliver on time, does not call to follow up, etc. Very unprofessional. My comments echo the others posted here. Never again. read more

Where do I start. They do have a nice showroom. The people seemed nice at first. It was my experience that they do not pay attention to details and there are serious communication gaps between their salespeople and the shop room. I brought a drawing to them for a marble window sill. They make a mistake copying it to their drawing format.. They say that will make a new sill for me. After I leave they make a new drawing for the sill and completely mess up the other measurements that they got correct the first time. I have to take it back again. It took them three times to get a simple window sill cut correctly. Of course they didn't try to help me out by fixing my error a little more quickly. No call backs when they said they would. The line you will hear is "can we call you right back". Don't expect that call. After three weeks of this nightmare I eventually had to call my credit card company to dispute the charges. Buyer beware. read more

Overall, the experience was awful. Would definitely not hire again. Contracted for the removal of existing counters and installation of new granite counters. After two attempts, they delivered a cracked piece of granite for the sink area that they had apparently glue back together. When I pointed this out, they said it was a fissure. I had three experts analyze the cracks and all agreed that it was, indeed cracked. I had also reserved an additional piece of granite from the wholesalers so that the counter could be replaced. I made several attempts to resolve the issue with Cava, but, at this point, I have had to engaged legal counsel. The first time they were to install the counter, they delivered the incorrect edge profile, so everything had to go back to the shop to be re-cut. During the installation of the counter the second time, they severely damaged several areas of the new drywall wall and chipped part of the brick chimney out and broke several lower cabinet sides and rails and also destroyed two of the under counter lights. They refused to repair these. Because of their negligence, the completion of the kitchen project had to be put on hold until the necessary installation of new counter and repairs can be made.. read more

What a PLACE! Stay AWAY! I use to get my counter tops and tile there - their quality has gone down the tubes fast! I got a estimate for a counter top and they constantly uping their prices! it was like ala cart for Junk! By the time I got the estimate it was $13,000 including installation of the sinks - it was a big job. Then I heard from one of my NJ builder friends about a place in cherryhill - so I go there to see what kind of price - OMG it was worth going over the bridge! Their Grade 1 made Cava's grade 1 look like junk granite. I cost the same measurements and the price came out to be $6,500 and included installation, sink mounting and hold on to your HATS - it included a OG edge! ontop of it free deliveries! Thanks for my NJ friend telling me about this place - I would of lost the job by using CAVA - I take pride in my work and Cava's Granite and price would of made me loose the bid and most of all make my work look bad. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! read more

The process of picking out our granite, pricing, and planning all went great. The sales rep. was very helpful and professional. The installation process is where the problems began. The installers showed up, but upon their "first" arrival we noticed they were backing up and down our street looking for our house. The two gentlemen then backed up into my neighbors car, moving it about 3 feet. Not knowing we were watching, they looked around for witnesses, looked at each other, laughed and quickly drove off! We waited another 15 minutes, they returned and were confused because my neighbor had left for work in the car they had just hit. Upon the interesting and unprofessional arrival, they began the installation. The workers didn't have the correct suction machine for the joining and epoxy of the two large counter granite pieces. They joined the granite slabs "the old fashioned way" because their tool was broken (in a case, full of water, with wires hanging out). About six months later the epoxy separated and is no longer joining the two slabs seamlessly together. The "D" shaped stainless steel sink was installed with very poor craftsmanship. Three randomly small pieces of 2x4's and about four drywall screws were all they used. I won't be washing my turkey or baby in this sink. They assured me the latex caulk would hold it all together. I don't think this is what latex was made for. The "digital" template was at least an inch off for the window slab of granite. This part really set the standard for the installers' craftsmanship. They slid the piece of granite into the window, knowing it didn't fit (there was enough space along the perimeter to slide your fingers behind it along the wall/window). I addressed this issue to them prior to officially installing it and they said, "they had some black caulk in the truck." I was amazed at such a recommendation and didn't allow them to install this portion. Upon finishing the job, they put the appliances back into place. I was surprised by this, but unfortunately I had to pull the stove back out to level it with the newly installed counters. When I pulled the counters out I could see razor cuts all down the side of my new cabinets from where the installer cut off the shims for the counters. Obviously you don't see this portion of the cabinets, but this is very unprofessional and I know it is there! After contacting the sales rep regarding the poorly templated window slab, he made it right by making a new template and returning to install the correctly sized piece. I also told them about the accident and drive off with my neighbors car. They simply said, "sorry" but didn't ask for my neighbors information. The sales rep. corrected the wrong sized piece, but overall I was amazed at the installers' lack of professionalism/ethics, preparation, attention to detail and quality of work. The counters looked nice when completed, but the seam is coming apart like I expected. read more
