At first we were okay with how things were until we started to notice leaking pipes. We asked the office personnel if maintenance could come by. They looked at it and got it fixed. Months later we had the same leak and they came back again. Maintenance really tried their best with the amount of workload they had which was not the issue. I appreciate them tis is why I atleast am giving a 2. A while in due to us having another baby my husband dealt with all the bills. My husband dealt with all office business which was okay until I found out the leasing lady Sandra was sleeping with my husband. This was so unprofessional as well as wrong on so many levels. I moved out with my boys and found another place while my husband stayed. She continued to sleep with my husband and then my husband found out she was not only sleeping with him but also another tenant in the apartments. I would not recommend this place to anyone based on people move with the intent to have a good family life and who did I have to depend on my husband and come to find out he's sleeping with the homewrecker in the office. Bad business. Not recommended. Unprofessional. Disgusting

The manager is only there a couple of times a week though so if you want to speak with her you need to call and leave a message. They definitely could use at least one more washer/drier, 3 of each wasn't always enough on the weekends. My biggest gripes were (A) the fact that they raised rent 3 times in 2 years, and the final time was a $200 /month increase, and (B) they kept about $400 worth of our security deposit to shampoo the carpet and clean the stove and around the windows! I hope they got an amazing cleaning service at that rate.

Im excited about the apartment upgrades as I have been paying increased rent all this time and my apartment has not been upgraded in the slightest. I just was able to get new window blinds to the fancier, non cheap ones. All in all, I did see a picture of the apartment that has been redone for $1345 I believe. I would be interested in knowing what upgrades are in store for our unit. Since my old review was from April and a comment was left today about the repairs made, I felt it fair to update my review. I wasnt aware of a letter sent out, but im guessing that may be the reason ive only had one person park in my spot since.

He told me, showed me and said what he had available. I appreciated him working with my time window and listening to my wants in a new location. Sea Breeze's apartments have a nice lay out and well maintained grounds. Since moving in I am loving the quietness, the location in proximity to convenience of good shopping, a great state beach and nearness to the freeway access ability. William continues to be extremely helpful, and dependable. If I come up with concerns or questions William has not brushed them off, he has been there to do what he can to help and or fix the problem. As stated in the beginning I am a new resident and quite happy to call this place home.

I had to move due to school but once I am done I do plan on going back to the area and I'll be looking here first. They were so nice for apartments. I never had a problem with management will either. He was always chill with me. It's just like anything else don't break the rules and you should be left alone. I even lived next to the guy haha and he never gave me shit.. I even stayed up late usually but I was mainly quiet like you should be to respect your fellow tenants.. anyways I loved the area. I recommend it

My husband and I lived here for a little over two years. Nina in the office is WONDERFUL! So caring…read moreand understanding. The maintenance guys are very respectful and responsive, they all wave when you walk or drive by. The neighbors can be hit or miss. One of our neighbors was great, would even grab our packages when we were out of town. More than one neighbor came up to our windows (including our bedroom window) to talk to our cat, which is pretty uncomfortable when you're sitting in bed waking up. The laundry room can be a little difficult, since some people living here will take every single machine and then leave their clothes in there after their cycle is well over. Also, someone (not the office, another neighbor) had my husband's car towed from the front parking since they wanted his parking spot during the height of COVID lock down. We walk by the cars almost everyday so who ever it was also took the warning ticket off the car so we wouldn't know it was about to be towed. Overall management is awesome, it's the other residents you might have problems with. We would have continued to rent here, but we're about to have our first child and wanted to move to a bigger place closer to family. I'd definitely recommend this complex to anyone, as long as you watch out for the other residents lol

I've called the management to fix our oven, fridge, and counters multiple times yet they never came. They show you a nice apartment with many utilities included, but in reality, it's absolutely terrible. I asked Trevor if he had a one bedroom apartment, since I couldn't afford the two bedroom one, and he said that he didn't. That same day I called Trevor off of a phone number he doesn't know, and asked him if he had a one bedroom apartment, and he said he did have one and that it was ready for touring anytime. The place is not even worth the expensive rent. I would NEVER recommend this place!!

I visited this community before it became The Shoreline at Monterey Bay and was surprised that any owner would even allow a community to present the way it did. I recently had to find a new place to live and came across an ad for The Shoreline and decided to visit the property. First, I called the property and was greeted by a upbeat personality on the phone, Traci. She described the upgrades to many of the apartments and the community and invited me to come and take a look at the apartment. When I drove up the the community I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice the landscape looked, it was green and had flowers throughout. I entered the office and was greeted by Traci who offered me a cold water and a seat. Traci actually took to me view the apartment, which surprised me because most places give you the key or a code to go look yourself. The apartment was beautiful and had many upgrades that I loved. I made my decision very quickly... This is where I was moving. I have now lived here for 8 months and have enjoyed living here. I would recommend anyone looking for a new place to live to come take a peek... You, like me, will be pleasantly surprised! The surrounding apartments in the area should follow suit and maintain the communities in the same fashion.

They look "newly renovated" but really they just poured white paint over obviously chipped/damaged walls.

You HAVE to make note of a upper case or lower case "B" in Mb/s, bit vs byte is a huge difference. Cell phones have a faster download so I end up having to hotspot often.... at home.... Housing is fine, nvr has an issue, front office ppl have always been nice even after ownership change. I've lived here 3 years, it's a little pricey but my biggest gripe is the internet service. Literally only one company is offered. AT&T. Literally only one internet service is available, AT&T basic 5 internet. Lags on games consistently, hulu is always buffering, and when it's a holiday and everyone is home using internet, it's hopeless. O and when I was in school I couldn't even turn in my hw and projects from home. I had to hotspot while driving to school or go to Starbucks to turn in my assignment, that is absolutely unacceptable to be such a roadblock to a STUDENT...

If you have no other options, I apologize that you must look into this place...You can expect neighbors who will throw trash into the street including diapers, you can expect a gardening crew that has given up on providing any type of legitimate services, you will pay substantially more than these old, dirty, broken-down homes are worth and the management shouldn't operate a lemonade stand let alone a huge housing-projects complex like Preston Park. 1995 internet services with 2018 prices and zero adequate parking options. Worst rental decision I have ever made involved this place, they choose to uphold policy subjectively... the only decent aspect is their maintenance staff who work hard and are nice people. Good Luck but avoid this City-owned cash grab if possible.
