We have stayed here several times and always had a wonderful time. They must be trying to pay for all those halfhearted renovations. Their cheap rooms get you in. Then their cleaning crew makes up crap, doesn't do their job right from the time before, or they get the room wrong and you get charged $250 for "evidence of smoking" when YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND DONT EVEN SMOKE! So upset. We are just one couple but we won't be back. Customer Service (front desk) was absolutely NO HELP! She had the professional "oh well" attitude. Please if you stay... stay with caution!

The only complaint is there is carpet in the bedrooms and a large rug in the living area. The rug could use cleaning, the bedroom carpet needs replaced. Going barefoot will get your feet dirty. Also, none of the condos I've stayed in in this building had the balcony's cleaned (swept) or patio furniture wiped off. Would these problems keep me from renting again? Not if the price was right.

Night 1 Thursday, we get to our 2bed 2bath condo and it is nasty, we found nasty socks in the pull out, dust on the tables, one toilet wont flush, the shower wont turn off, the sink in the kitchen was being held together with duct tape and wont stop dripping. We need sheets for the pull out, they cant be found call office around 10pm no answer, finely get someone its midnight and we still dont have sheets, 1am finely sheets, make the bed everyone go to bed. Night 2 Friday, wake up go out for the day come back to condo around 5pm get freshened up go to dinner, back from dinner around 6:30pm and half the condo has power the other half is dark, AC not working. Apparently the power surged and shorted out whatever I'm not sure so we talk to the front office and the past she can do is give us 2 hotel rooms or a 2night refund about $350, we chose to be moved to 2 of the hotel rooms huge mistake! The hotel rooms were very low rate we had moldy towels and rags, the chair in the room was stained and nasty as were the mattresses. Night 3 Saturday and Sunday morning Checking out. Over all our room experience was horrible we got back to the rooms Saturday night and there was alot going on, neighbors fighting kids running through the walkways screaming and the ice machine costed us $0.25 WTAF!!!! I had a wonderful time in Pegion Forge and I cant wait to go back but I will speed past this place so fast and sleep in my car if I have to.

Where do I start…read more We've been staying at Golf Vista for the last 4 or 5 years. This past trip we stayed in 141 but the years before, we stayed in 121. Each unit is individually owned so depending on which unit you prefer will determine which rental service you use to book your room. 121 and 141 are on VRBO. Prices vary and they can go quickly, so book early. 141 was nice and all units are roomy for my 6 person family. The couch wasn't very comfy for sitting and neither was the recliner. The couch did fold out into a bed and the kids seemed pleased. The mast bedroom has a jetted tub which is nice if you like a jetted tub. We are shower people so we didn't use it. The master bed was super comfy though and those two nights were probably the best two nights of sleep I've gotten in a long time. Each unit has a gas fire place and full kitchen. These are basically apartments. I could write all night about these units but do me a favor, just book it for a weekend and see for yourself. Just don't book it on the weekend we go. Lol.

Caveat - always purchase on the Secondary Market; presentations are ok to achieve lay of the land, but Never purchase from a developer. We wisely purchased our first vacation club in 1972, and have enjoyed the annual luxury travel every years since. Sales people will argue the benefit of timeshare exchanges - Interval International is superior to RCI; however, these exchange clubs always involve extra fees. Interval International has taken us to nearly all Marriott Vacation Club properties in the US, and we have exchanged abroad. Marriott Bonvoy is excellent for overseas hotel stays. Caveat: Always purchase in desirable locations that one will visit annually. We currently own four Atlantic Ocean Front Marriott Vacation Club properties and two Mountain properties. And this ownership leaves plenty of spring and fall time for 3-4 weeks of international travel. We always visit Smokies in spring; fall is delightful, but way too many leaf peepers. In 2025, Tree Tops improvements include new carpet and furniture, all important WIFI is now up-to-date, and TV service - Spectrum is great improved. Our Saturday check-in follows in-town dining and includes a pool and hot tub visit. Mountains or beach? Not applicable for us, we do both....

During our last day there we had a sales lady come to our room and tried to arrange a sales meeting to get our of our Bluegreen contract. She said that getting out of that contract would be no problem. We bought based on this promise and still trying to get out of our Bluegreen contract. Be very leery of buying from this firm.

However we did have to call multiple times for things. the hot tub was nasty when we got in, our jacuzzi in the bath tub didn't work, we had to exchange our towels in town (more could have easily been left in the room), they also did not tell us to bring our own toilet paper (minor issue but would have been nice to know ahead of time). we also had to call to hve the fire place turned on. (But it was the start of season so might have been a little early) Over all we had an awesome stay! The bed was comfy! They were also very prompt at taking care of everything!! Will be back!!

We had 5 adults in a 2 bedroom and tons of space to spare, it definitely could have handled the full 8 person capacity. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The beds were comfy, and our unit was clearly remodled recently. The in unit laundry was amazing! I brought jetted tub cleaner, but was surprised when I ran it, it was already really clean! We loved our time at the pool, seeing the Dollywood fireworks from our balcony, and sunsets from the upper floor trash area at the west facing buildings (dont knock it till you try it!) Side note: We aren't owners, so I was worried about high pressure check-ins like I read about, but it was fine. Apparently 2 years ago they were bought by Travel & Leisure and changed tactics. They offered free tickets to attend an info session, I said no thank you and they gave me the keys. They have a great texting based system for updates and everything you need (like towels, dishwasher tablets, etx.) and they were super fast in responding! We had an amazing week! We did a mix of everything and it was nice being right on the edge of everything in Pigeon Forge and 30 mins from Gatlinburg. Honestly I only held back the 5th star because we did have a pretty big black bug run through, but we were on a 1st floor room, which is actually downstairs and there was a visible gap under our door that it likely ran in (we are backed up to woods, and thats what I choose to believe). I sent them a note that they really need weather stripping!

The clubhouse would be great , but total ass holes were running a muck and the poor staff couldn't do anything. Then in the indoor pool had a couple of whales who were running and cannonballing into pool. Which I didn't allow my kids to be jerks. We ended up leaving. It's not enjoyable getting soaked. And if I wanted to be splashed like that I would have went to sea world. Again the employees were sorry, but said there was nothing they could do. The put put was a joke and not convenient to the club house for balls and clubs. The coffee is the worst!!!
