And then, if that wasn't anything bad, he won't even let you test drive anything. Half the cars here have a big markup and the fees make the cars price higher than what they're worth. How will you say you take offers yet you then make up some lies saying oh you won't earn anything. The seller of the car doesn't even want that huge amount according to him, but since it's "his lot" he charges these dumb prices. Go take your money elsewhere.

VIPRE is a good place to buy a used auto, but a bad place to get it repaired. I bought a late…read moremodel Honda hybrid from VIPRE, and have had decent luck with it, but the few times I brought it into them, the bill was always near or above $1,000. In one instance, they charged me $1,200 to replace ONE headlight, and they didn't even fix it correctly- I had to bring it back in because the mechanic hadn't replaced the "igniter". The other headlight went out 2 months later, so I took it to a recommended moonlighter mechanic- he fixed the set-up without fuss for $200, and a year later it's still running strong. I really don't think Shamit and crew are intentionally trying to rip customers off, I just think there's a disconnect between the management and the repair side of the business. And, if you get caught up in that "disconnect", it will cost you thousands of dollars. Shamit has never fixed this issue, so beware to the car owner looking to get a repair. Needless to say, my next used car will probably be purchased at VIPRE, but my repairs will be going elsewhere. Three stars: good cars, bad repair service.

I understand you have to make your money back, but $10 for a burger and $7 for a hot dog should be illegal, even if it did include a small bag of chips and can soda.
