We had an amazing private tour to the beach for our honeymoon. We had an amazing time because of the location, Abigail was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the horses were so well trained! I would love to recommend this tour to anyone! Well worth every penny

First off, with such well-trained horses, and an awesome owner/tour guide, no experience necessary actually means YOU WILL STILL HAVE A LOT OF FUN! So glad my wife and I tried this out while we were in Vieques. My first concern initially was, "how much fun can horse back riding actually be?" Boy was I wrong, and with the breath-taking views of the ocean as you ride alongside the beach and in the water, how can this experience be anything far from amazing! I highly recommend anyone to try it, whether you've done it in the past or not, with the Colon family, the adventure becomes all the more enjoyable! Pro tip: become really cool with the owner, if he feels that he can trust you, and that you can be responsible with the horse, he'll show you how you can get them to go faster, and that'll make your time spent more exhilarating! My horse was named Miel, which means Honey in Spanish. She was sweet, well tamed, and an absolute joy to ride. The owner takes excellent care of the horses, and doesn't over work them. Support local! They need our help. He and his family have an amazing story. Don't go anywhere else for horseback riding, go to Colon!

We had an amazing time with Johnnie and his great horses! The highlight was riding them into the waves and feeling like a parade with all of the horses and dogs as we made our way through the streets. So much fun!! This is a can't miss VQS activity! Johnnies wife was so sweet in getting my daughter and I set up- a true family affair! Go see them!!

The beautiful horses helping us enjoy the our day.

My son, hubby and I went on 2 hour trip today and it was Fabulous. We rode beautiful horses on the beautiful Vieques beaches, country side and local streets. The Colon family was professional soo beyond helpful and sweet. They were very careful with my 6 year old son as well who was also a 1st time rider. The experience was beyond our wildest dreams and we all loved it!!! Please contact him if you'd like to ride a horse and you will definitely be amazed. Posting plenty of pictures for your viewing pleasure ;)

I had such a great time on this horse riding tour of the island. Amazing views of the beaches & Johnny takes you into the ocean on the horses for an extra fun time! I am an advanced rider and loved the ride! I galloped down the beach & got to cross that off my bucket list! Johnny really loves his animals and takes very good care of them. His horses are very well trained and everyone would have fun on this tour from beginning riders to advanced. The place doesn't look like much, but don't let that throw you off from this great tour! Be sure to wear pants that can get wet and water shoes or sandals! I highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience the island from horseback!

First we loved our tour guide Mikey he was fun and friendly, he was knowledgeable and knew the area. We went on a two hour tour that brought us to a few spots for pictures along with a river to take a dip. He drew on us with rocks! lol we stopped at a small restaurant with some food for purchase and pina colada's with a bunch of cats! They had a restroom too. Overall the experience was worth it we spent about $600 for a family of 4. On a separate day we went on horseback to the beach. It was fun but crazy!!! These horses are trained but definitely have a mind of their own. It POURED the entire time. But this excursion is rain or shine! There is a weight limit and shoe requirement. We stopped a a bar that had drinks and food this was a very well organized place. Overall highly recommend! Things to know: bring cash to tip the workers, wear closed toed shoes, have face coverings and glasses for eyes, bring towels and change of clothes to leave in your car. Bring cash or card for food, drinks and souvenirs. Bring cat treats to feed the cats!

The experience started with about 30 minutes of instructions and getting set up, followed by an hour riding through the rainforest. One thing I really appreciated was that we stopped to take photos something I haven't experienced on similar tours before, so that was a nice touch. We also had a quick 10-minute stop for food before wrapping up. We went on Sunday. Nice sceneries The only downside was that our tour guide kept commenting on how fast or slow we were going. Since it had been a while since I last rode an ATV, I was a bit jerky at times, so that felt a little unnecessary. Other than that, I liked the experience and had no major complaints.

We arrived on time and we were warmly greeted by the captain and 2 crew. After a basic safety briefing we charted out towards Culebra in overcast weather. Instead of Culebra we settled on the uninhabited beach of Caya Luis Pena before Culebra with crystal clear waters in about 20 minutes. The waters were translucent clear turquoise and beach sand was pristine. Water temp was around 79-80F. Weather was overcast and comfortably cool. They laid out a simple light sandwich buffet for lunch with beers and tropical cocktails. Snorkeling, swimming and relaxing for a few hours, we spotted small schools of fish and a very cool bachelor Stingray circling looking for scraps. Crew was incredibly friendly and helpful and everyone enjoyed the short beach visit. The return trip was much smoother and after jumping back on the bus we were able to stop by a bbq joint for coconuts and fried stuffed empanadas.
