My cousins & I took the 5+ hour excursion on the Barefoot catamaran. We all really enjoyed ourselves. The crew was AWESOME!!! They were totally on top of things. They were professional, friendly, & a lot of fun. The crew made sure the beverages were flowing & food was available, just as advertised. The locations were beautiful & fun. We set sail with 30+ strangers & by the time we returned, we were all friends partying together. If you are in the PR & want to have a GREAT time on the water, I'd say make that reservation.

View from the front of the boat.

Catamaran cruise. What an amazing experience. We sailed out to an island - about a 30 minute ride. Drinks and music the whole way over. Threw down and anchor and then hung out for like 3 hours before sailing back. Sitting at the front of the boat was my favorite. The 3 guys that made up the crew were all awesome. Great sense of humor and terrific customer service. HIGHLY recommend.

My family of five had a blast on this tour today. We weren't quite sure what to expect even though they are very clear with you before hand, you just never know. You meet at the morning to depart by 9 and then go to the island and swim, tan, float, whatever lol. They have a large float, snorkeling gear, volleyballs, etc. for you to use as well. The water was so beautiful. The drive was smooth. The drinks were delicious and the staff was amazing. I'm terrible with names but I know Anthony, Richard, and Marcos were on the boat and one other gentlemen. They were all amazing. Marcos was so good with my son and was super engaging with the entire family. They all made sure we always had drinks (non alcoholic too) and provided a really good lunch too that consisted of turkey sandwiches, chip bags, packaged cookies, and really delicious pasta salad. Even my picky eater kids ate it all. After the beach float, you get back on the boat around 12:10 and take a short boat ride down the way to Tortuga Bay (there's no turtles lol) to snorkel. There are tons of fish. There's also Pretty strong current so be prepared for that or only send your best swimmers out. All in all I would definitely recommend this trip and this crew and company specifically! Worth the money and a great memory for our family. Oh yeah, there's a bathroom on board too lol. That was important for me .

Just coming back from a day at sea with captain Tito, Marcos, Eli and Dantoine and cannot say enough about their hospitality. Not only are they great at what they do from a hospitality and safety standpoint they are just so engaged with the guests including great conversationalists about the island. This was absolutely a beautiful experience with an amazing crew. Thank you Captain! You and your crew were amazing.

We loved Castillo Tours & our crew (Captain Robert & crew). We'll planned day with swimming, snorkeling and relaxation. Would absolutely book with this company again! The downside was that we booked through Viator and requested a vegetarian option for lunch & it was confirmed but they didn't have anything for our vegetarian because Viator never passed the information along. Consider booking through Yelp or directly with Castillo Tours!

We had an amazing trip! Beautiful island that they take you too. Unlimited great tropical drinks! The crew made the trip so fun, playing music and dancing! The snorkeling was okay, but still pretty cool to see. Definitely worth the journey and a great time! They provide everything you need. Definitely bring sunscreen or cover ups we all got sun burnt pretty badly lol

This was a really fun snorkeling excursion and my group was so glad we booked with Castillo Tours. The event says to arrive by 715 AM and they depart around 8 AM. I would recommend arriving that early to get your gear, apply lotion and getting a covered seat on the catamaran. The excursion ran for about 5 hours. About 2.5 hours at Icacos Beach and another hour snorkeling. The team on board was really professional. The boat was very clean from the gear, drinking/ seating area and the bathroom. Our drinks were constantly being refilled. Comparing our boat with the other ones on the pier, ours was definitely the cleanest one from the exterior. You get the option of Pina colada and soda with rum drinks. For lunch, we were served chips, pesto pasta, peanut free vegetarian pasta and bagged lunches which included cookies and a turkey sandwich. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience on board. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. We all felt like we got great value considering it was 5 hours for less than $100 worth of entertainment. We definitely got our $s worth with all of the alcohol and food that we consumed.

Best tour group ever! Went out May 25th to celebrate my sisters 33rd birthday and entire crew made the experience fun, new and exciting. Danthony made sure our cups were never low and was full of funny jokes thank you for making our day. Can't wait to go back to PR and I will make sure to book again. I've told everyone to check out Castillo Tours best excursion company in Puerto Rico! Thanks for the great memories hands down best crew ever!

This is a 5 star tour! Trust the reviews. They take you on a nice ride from the marina out to Icacos Island where you can snorkel, paddle board or just swim around. The water is bright blue (clear) and warm! Lunch and drinks are included and they are very good! The whole staff is amazing. They are super friendly and make sure your drink is never empty. Jeremy was awesome and loved his energy! OH, and their music is perfect! I Shazam'd a few songs to add to my own playlists haha. Well worth the price.

Took the Catamaran, Barefoot, with Captain Robert and his crew Marcos, Eli, Adrian. They were very attentive and quick to refill your drink, lunch was very good, sandwiches with chips and a pasta salad. They were available to answer questions and the scenery was beautiful. Definitely will come back again!

My friends and I had the pleasure to be guided by Mr. Charles from Castillo tours. He was very detail about showing Puerto Rico on the way to el Yunque. He made a stop prior to the forest. He was very punctual (which I appreciated) he took his time to show us everything about the visit. I really enjoy and totally recommend this tour to el Yunque.

We chose to do the El Yunque/BioBay combo tour. First you're picked up directly from the hotel around 9:30 am. They come straight to the lobby. You will be in a rather small shuttle and depending on how large your group is it may get cramped and stuffy in the shuttle vehicle. Lucky for me we had a great group that was a lot of fun. We really bonded in such a short period of time. First stop is El Yunque national rainforest. On the drive to the rainforest you watch a film that previews some of what you will be seeing in person and gives some historical info. Cruz brought us up to the very highest part of the rainforest so that we could hike mostly downward which is a hell of a lot easier and less strenuous. I recommend water shoes for the hike. You will stop at a waterfall and get a chance to swim around which was definitely the highlight of the day! After you leave El Yunque you stop at a strip mall of authentic Puerto Rican food stands. You eat (own expense) for about an hour and then go to a really nice beach for another hour and a half. After that you will be driven to the marina where you will start your kayaking. At this point the BioBay is run by a separate company. So I can't really include them in this review. All I will say is that the BioBay is not what you think it is if you have ever googled pictures of it. That's definitely not what you will be seeing on this tour. After you return from kayaking your original tour guide drops you back off at your hotel. All in all it's an exhaustive 12 hour day but it is an amazing experience and well worth the money!

Once on site, we had a few minutes in the Margarita Bar to take a bathroom break, grab water or snack, etc. Then we went to another area to get our gear put on and then headed to the first line. Before getting started one of the guides gave instructions on what not to do with the gear, how to hold on and how to pull yourself in if you don't make it all of the way to the next platform. Next the adventure began. I don't recall the description saying that there were open-slated wooden bridges to cross or slightly steep and possibly slippery hills to climb. I can say that my nerves, glutes and hamstrings got an intense workout. lol. The last line ends back at the Margarita Bar, perfect for if you need a shot after. The guides help you get all of the gear off. The views were great, and I really did enjoy myself. I made it across successfully on all 5 lines. As long as 15 people are on the tour, they will take you to your Calebra. If less than 15 you stay local! There were well over 15 so we were able to tour Calebra. It was so beautiful! Once you get there, they pick you up on a ferry to take you to the boat . The boat travels for about an hour before getting to a private island and that is where you get the guided snorkeling or diving tour depending on what you selected! My friends and I did the snorkeling. As someone who can't swim (I know I know lol) I had a great time. The tour guides were very informative and helpful for all ages and swim levels. They do provide fruit, cold cut sandwiches and rum punch and when you stop . If you're looking for a "party" boat then this may not be for you. Don't expect lots of liquor and twerking etc it's a family type tour, Some of my friends were a bit disappointed by the price expecting that we'd stop somewhere that had a bar and restaurant but it was just a private island (we're in our high 20s low 30s). So idk I think it depends on your expectations but I was okay with everything and the service was great!

We were told we had to first buy and complete the course work through PADI and from There they would do the water/ dive sessions and compete the certification. The shop also gets a kick back from Padi as work since it makes u select a dive shop where ur course work is sent to. Once we complete the course work, we each reached out to the dive shop about 2 - 1 1/2 weeks in advance to schedule the dates and times for the water sessions. We did not receive any type of response back from the shop. We attempted to message on whatsup as requested but still did not receive a confirmation or any type of communication. We called down to the shop, where we were told to just text them. We again tried to text the shop but did not receive any response. We flew to San Juan and arrived and immediately went to the shop, we were told to text them and they would get back to us.. we asked directly if they had availability and we were told they would check and get back to us via text.... A day goes by, we attempt to call and no response.. fully we get a text saying they are fully committed...... This was without doubt the worst type of un-reliable customer service and a refusal to communicate.. I would not trust this dive shop or operation. They should never have told us to use to do the course work with their shop and then refuse to complete our certification. Luckily Scuba Dogs next door came to our rescue when we told them about the horrible customer service we received. Just be aware this shop will not be reliable.

Noncoffee drinkers had options of lemonade and tea. Second stop was Señor Paleta. There's no indoor seating here so we had the delicious parcha (passion fruit) popsicle. Yum! Very refreshing, great for this warm weather! Third stop was Cafe El Punto. This place has a lot of artwork by local artists. We had ceviche de pescado and alcapurrias de la casa which were nice. Fourth stop was El Patio de Sam where we "made" our own mofongo. We had fried plantains and garlic butter, mashed them in a mortar and pestle, and added the chicken before turning the mortar upside down to get the mofongo.
