What an absolutely amazing trip! Such a warm and welcoming crew. We could not believe how well they managed a large group which ranged from complete non-swimmers to divers. The divers got lots of time in the water, and they got every single non-swimmer out there snorkeling. I have seen reefs all over the world, and this one was absolutely spectacular.

Is the best experience ever!!! I would HIGHLY recommend them, they're very professional, very friendly and super helpful. They even help my mom on snorkeling and she never done it before. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and definitely booking again with them.

Definitely book the Sea Trek!! Luckily we were staying at the Caribe Hotel and were able to book this adventure! Luis was AWESOME! This experience would not have been the same without him. We felt safe and had an amazing time swimming with the fishes :) I would highly recommend!

TL:DR Easily one of the most generous diving experiences I've had in years. Our boat master Scotty provided us with the most generous food & beverage I've had between dives in ages. Fresh sandwich options, plenty of variety of chips, fresh fruit, ice cold sodas, and water, and a genuinely fun crew made the on boat experience almost as great as the diving! Dive master Ruthie was fantastic she made sure that we saw as much as possible, pointed out plenty of hiding marine life for our amateur photography opportunities, and overall was an attentive dive master for our group. We even had a gentleman drop his personal gear off the boat while loading and she geared back up and went back after already doing 4 dives and she made the 50 foot drop to recover his stuff for him. This crew goes above and beyond for their passengers.

Omar n Tony were fantastic duo to head the ship! we took a boat named Day off! to Culebra for the whole day! Lame late arrivers delayed us from taking off on time. But one of them got sea sick(apparently they stopped for McDonald's on the way to the boat) which serves them right. Omar, the captain made an awesome lunch n fruit n snack spread, while Tony shared history stories while we were waiting to return to Fajardo. Omar went out of his way and brought me two cups of snacks up on the top level when he saw I wasn't heading down to grab some of the local pineapple n banana n grapes. Interesting recipe idea from Omar: banana in microwave, slice open, top with ground beef n cheese, yum. They were both so nice n friendly. Anyone who gets an adventure with them will have a great time.

Staff was Friendly and Knowledgable. Matthew was an excellent and FUN Captain. Tony was great at teaching us on the Discover Scuba Dive. Tony was patient and worked hard to make sure everyone was comfortable with the dive and conditions. Definitely recommend these talented and knowledgeable gentlemen.

Sea Trek was so fun!! We loved getting up close and personal with the sea creatures. Lots of colorful fish. It was thrilling to hold the urchin and sea star. I LOVE snorkeling and we had just spent the day before snorkeling Culebra and we actually had more fun during our Sea Trek. I like that I could wear my glasses and my hair stayed dry. My husband liked not having to deal with a snorkel and mask AND the helmet fit his huge head! I appreciate the underwater photos to share with our family and friends. Luis was a friendly and fun guide. This was a unique experience that I'll never forget. We would love to do this again!

I was a little disappointed by this. The cost was not worth it....I went snorkeling in Hawaii for free and it was a lot better than this. My husband had never snorkeled before so I felt like he didn't get the best experience possible. The tour guide was friendly but did not give us the full hour and a half tour that we paid for. He ended the tour 30 minutes early. The tour guide knew the island very well and knows the hot spots. We will want to try out those next time. This is great for family tours but not for the adventurous.

I joined Culebra boat tour with them. The captain's name is Scott. I went with my wife and daughters. the boat has in total 5 crews I remember. They are constant paying attention to each of us. When we are snorkeling or jumping off the boat, they are all watching carefully where each person is. I feel really comfortable relaxing on the boat because I know they are watching my daughters too from the boat. When they take group out snorkeling. They have one staff leading the group. Another staff at the end of the group making sure everyone is safe. I think they are doing a lot to keep everyone save. My daughters are also happy jumping off the boat into the water. Also, the boat is clean compared to many of the boat tour I have been. The crew on the boat are friendly and I can see they genuinely love what they are doing. My family is really happy with this boat tour. They gave my daughters a great day that they will never forget.

Terrance was our guide for this underwater adventure on a Sunday morning. He explained the rules to us very clearly and plainly. I was certainly apprehensive at first, but Terrance made me feel at ease as he asked us not to fear. We walked out to the water and when we were at shoulder depth, he placed the helmet on our head. My head and hair stayed dry throughout the process which was a major plush. We continued to walk out to the reef. We encountered fish, sea urchin, starfish, sea spider, squid and several other sea life. We were underwater for about 35 minutes. During the adventure, Terrance took many pictures and video which were available for purchase afterwards. We received our link to the pics via email before we left the next day. I would certainly do this again now that I have conquered my fear of being under water.

While on a cruise, we stopped to do some quick training dives with Tony. Tony was great and a lot of fun to hang out with. He helped my brother learn during his Adventure Dive cert, and he oversaw me finish my Advanced Diver cert. It was a great experience, would definitely go back to him!

Had a great time. Ruth and Scotty were great!!! The crew was awesome. The dives were great The food was good. Ruth showed her experience and Scotty was hilarious. I recommend!

2nd stop--Beach Time

What can I say about Aqua Adventure?! Incredible company! Amazing experience! Wonderful employees! Prior to our trip, we did some research on Culebra Island and Flamenco Beach. It quickly became a must-do. What we didn't realize is you really need to find a way there even prior to arriving to PR as things book fast. Desperate, I checked into flights, getting tickets for the ferry and then lastly called any and all snorkeling trip and private companies to Culebra Island. Just as I was giving up hope, I came across a private sailing company and spoke with a Captain Jimbo. He reached out to various boats/companies and finally, he messaged me with good news that the last company he knew of, Aqua Adventures, put us on. This type of service and helpfulness would never happen in NY. We booked the snuba and snorkeling full day trip. Now, at this point we were aware they didn't go to Flamenco Beach, however, we took what we could get, which was not a disappointment in the end whatsoever. I can't remember the names of the areas we stopped at, but they were beautiful. We did the snuba during the first stop. I've always wanted to do something like this--part of my bucket list I guess you could say. I will admit that getting used to the the breathing underwater took me a few minutes to get the hang of, but the instructor was amazing and knew how walk me through. The reef could be best described as a wall. We came across many species of fish. Unfortunately no turtles. The next stop we did some snorkeling and had beach time. This spot was perfect for the snorkeling. I know some of our group did see a sea turtle further out too. The food/snacks was perfectly refreshing for such a gorgeous day. These guys do an amazing job--every single one of them! Even the gentleman (Scott, perhaps?) at the booth at Palomino Island. I wish I could list all names. We both highly recommend this experience! This was my highlight of the trip. We actually were going to book a 2nd trip but we were just too sunburnt. Don't forget to reapply your sunblock!

My mom and I got the lovely tour guide Elizabeth. I love how she constantly checked on everyone as she knew most of us never snorkeled before- she checked on me often as well since with snorkeling you have to breathe through your mouthpiece and not your nose but I'm a nose breather - so this was really hard but it can be accomplished and it does become fun once you learn ( my only issue ). The tour was in a nice little area. The check in process was so easy and you get paired into groups with your own tour guide. I think it's 9 max per group. The experience is beautiful and so different, I got to see and swim with a sea turtle, saw so much fish, these beautiful blue fish and so much sea life. Elizabeth took AMAZING pictures and videos (all you have to do it ask). The pictures really are the best, I paid for an underwater phone case and it was useless so I'm glad this excursion included pictures and videos. I enjoyed it so much I want to keep snorkeling in different parts of the world. Oh at first you start off with your life vest- but if you swim very well and want it off after awhile you can. Which I did and swam to the bottom to get cool pics and vids with the sea turtle I was so hype about this! Even if you're scared or nervous I say DO IT! Muchas gracias Elizabeth you rock!

Very beautiful, small beach near Old San Juan. Specifically near Puerta De Tierra neighborhood and…read morethe El Hambuguer Restaruant. A lot of people walk, run, cycle along the trail which is attached alongside the ocean coast. The beach is organized with a nice layout. Parking is close. Places to sit and take in the scenery. You can easily find the place to rent chairs and umbrella if you want. Or you can bring your own chair and sit under the palm trees for shade. Or just lay out and relax. What I like about this beach is that they put up a long row of rocks to break the strong waves. So, you can go out really far and the water is not deep. You can more wade in the water or float. I came during hurricane season, so there were some strong waves crashing, but luckily the rocks kept things safe. I did not notice any restaurants, food stands, nor people selling anything. But I also came during the low peak season so it was chill. Still a lot of people relaxing at the beach. Loved this beach.

After walking up and down the hills of Old San Juan, my husband and I decided to take an Uber over to a beach that had come highly raved about. Our driver dropped us off outside of a stadium entrance, next to a hotel that I presume was badly damaged during one of the storms and left to decline. Our walk felt like that of one from a zombie movie, but we saw others who had clearly been in the water, so we kept trucking. When we reached the opening to the water by the scuba rental booth, all we found was a small slip of sand onto the clear blue waters that could sit maybe 10 people comfortably with chairs and towels. There was already a large group both in and out of the water, so we continued to walk as we felt there had to be more. We walked around for a bit, trying to locate more beach, and found an inlet of palm trees swaying in the winds coming off of the water. No beach in sight. It wasn't until we left exhausted from our sightseeing and wandering that we found an aerial view that showed the beach to be about another quarter to half mile away from the farthest point we had reached. Water was beautiful, and seeing pictures from others who made it to the beach is so nice, however accessibility for this beach was a huge bummer.

They gave us instructions for snorkeling, and helped everyone to securely fasten their gear. We stopped at three spots for snorkeling. The first one were very close to Icacos Island, which was deliberately in a shallow area, so first time snorkelers like me can get some practice before going into deeper waters. The other two spots we stopped were in the middle of the ocean, among the reefs and vast expanse of the Caribbean Sea. Herbert, an experienced diver that guided our tour, dove down and flipped lots of rocks and caught little star fish, urchins, shrimps, crabs and other interesting creatures for us to see. It was amazing, and something I couldn't have done if I were on my own. Snorkeling is such an easy sport, even though I've only swan in water parks before, I find it easy to swim the sea with no problem. Lunch was prepared by them, with cold cuts, cheese and sandwich bread. I'm not a fan of these type of food, but I didn't expect hand pulled noodles in the middle of the sea either. Food was not the point of this trip anyway. If you don't like these food, you can always bring snacks and just put them in the cabin downstairs. In the end, we sailed by this small piece of land and saw iguanas climbing up the trees. It was really nice. I learned about this tour rather late, so I didn't meet the book online window (at least 12 hours ahead), had to call in and make reservation. I would recommend everyone taking advantage of their online booking system, it is real-time and you get $10 off.
