Incredible experience! Came here for a bachelorette with a group of 13 ladies - we made our booking over a month in advance and arranged transportation in advance as well (this is critical)! Our group had the best time - I've been zip-lining 3 times and this experience was definitely my favorite. We were taken care of by Reynard, Miguel, Jo-Alex, Ian, Kevin, and Luisa - the trainers took their time to explain the zip-lining and rainforest hiking procedures, reassure us of how they kept the experience and equipment safe, teach us about plants and wildlife in the forest, and make us laugh / get to know us along the way. We had a few first-timers who were nervous and they quickly overcame that initial anxiety because of how great the trainers were! The 5 zip-lines were also well worth it, with dazzling views of El Yunque below. One of the coolest parts was the short rappelling experience along the way! My first time doing it and the team made us feel very comfortable. Overall 1000% recommend Yunque Ziplining! Comfortable, safe, and beyond fun adventure. Book your reservation and transportation in advance!

    End of the adventure!

Must do this! I am afraid of heights (like really afraid) and the team was so patient with me and helped me conquer my fear and enjoy this adventure with my family! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great spot for beginners! This wasn't our first time Ziplining so I would have preferred another spot. There were two groups with little kids and the guidance were patient. The road to the meeting area and the location of the zip lining was not bad at all even though, they said it's narrow and steep. The three people that guided us were great and patient!

My Husband and Son did this on a Monday afternoon never have done it before and said it was better than they expected, well worth it,hate an awesome time. It was $99.00 plus taxes for 2 hours an was 10 minutes from Luquillo beach easy to find The workers were funny and nice making the first timers comfortable. A must is our suggestion. Pics to follow

Fernando and Edmanuel (amazing photographer on the side so ask him!) were amazing and knowledgeable about the forest. They were in touch through texts couple of days prior until the day of the event. If you want a relaxing and easy zip lining experience, this is the place for you! Thank you Fernando and Edny!

This was one of the best excursions I've ever been on, my husband set this experience up and I was a bit nervous but with our guides Rey and Lori my nerves went away. They were amazing, we had so much fun and learned a lot about their beautiful rainforest. I would highly recommend this to everyone visiting Puerto Rico!

We had a reservation for four, I received perfectly clear directions Reynard and Lori and they led us to the meeting spot. There are five different ziplines, rock repelling (little scary but i made it through) and hiking. The views are absolutely spectacular, the hospitality, the kindness, the guides are so genuine and friendly. I have never done ziplining before and I was laughing the whole way through. They do an amazing job sitting you down and explaining all the safety procedures and it's impossible not to feel safe and in good hands! When it comes to hiking, they have ropes you can hold onto. They are knowledgeable about all of the plants and trees and you can tell they care and put effort into maintaining the environment around them (they planted pineapples!!!). I want to bring my whole family, all of my friends and would love for everyone to give this zip line a chance. Even if you are scared of heights and drops, you won't feel fear here. I promise! Thank you so much again, for the passion fruit refreshment afterwards and the chips. You guys rocked! Keep doing what you're doing! We will be back.

Was going back home for a short vacay trip and was staying close enough to El Yunque. Ziplining has been a thing for a while back home and on every trip, I'd always want to go but never planned it. Well this time I sure as heck was not leaving without going Ziplining. It seems most people don't even know that they offer that in El Yunque, since most are on the west area of the island. The meeting point was in front of a basketball court and we caravan-drove to the site because it's a bit difficult to find. The staff here is *outstanding*!! They are very customer experience oriented, and super safety conscious too. The zip lines are sturdy and again they focus on safety so they're constantly monitoring the guests and ensuring everyone is comfortable. Boy was it fun!! We hiked a bit through the tree lines to get to the last few zip lines and that was a bit exhausting, a considering we were walking through the muddy brush and trees, so it was hot and humid in those areas. But it's to be expected considering El Yunque is a tropical rainforest. Beautiful views!! So fun and worth it! I had a Go Pro strapped to my chest so I can get recordings of the experience, it was super fun!! Check them out!!

Fantastic adventure with amazing tour guides Rey and Joalex! Highly recommend! It was gorgeous out in the rain forest. We zip lined, hiked and rappelled. The guides were patient and helpful and funny!

This experience was incredible! Ziplining with my family in the care of JoAlex and Miguel was amazing! I was terrified, but they were professional, calming, and so knowledgeable about the history of PR it made my fears disappear! Also, this company is super organized and well run giving us clear instructions and directions through email. Equipment is sanitized and area is clean with bathroom! Book them-you'll have a blast!!

What a family adventure! Big smiles and laughs with Rey, Lori and Luis! Everyone felt safe, secure and enjoyed the nature hike. Thank you!

Great way to spend a couple hours in El Yunque. Exciting activities and learned some neat facts. Teens and adults had a blast! Thank you Rey, Lori and Luis for sharing your passion for nature!

Montana Explora is the tour company located in Naguabo. Its location is slightly remote so I recommend looking it up in advance before you head over. You can also call/text the company's phone number, and they will text you their GPS coordinate. If you feel like you're driving to the middle of nowhere, you're heading the right direction. Once you get there, you'll see a small building with a bunch of life jackets/equipment on the outside. Our tour start time was 8:00am. We showed up early so we beat our guides there. They arrived few minutes after we did, and after they got the equipment together, we started around 8:30am. They do provide the equipment so all we had to bring was ourselves. I do recommend wearing canyoneering shoes or good hiking shoes because it is a slippery environment and the likelihood of falling is high in other shoes. Ha. Possibly long pants and long sleeve but not mandatory. Some of the trees have thorns, but they are rare. The company is family-owned and operated so the tour guides appear to care about the company greatly. Actually, our tour guides, named Luis and Gabriel, had a great attitude and seemed to enjoy their job a lot. They were extremely patient, friendly, and helpful. They are in very good shape physically and helped us the entire way, even if that required lowering us or offering a knee for us to step onto. They were very competent, and I felt very safe the whole time. I feel like the amount I paid for this experience was way less than the risk they took to keep us safe. I feel so indebted to them and forever grateful for them. This tour was highly based on our preferences and comfort level. We were able to add or subtract activities as we wanted. There was hiking, water sliding, zip lining, and more water slides. It was a lot of fun. I highly recommend this company and their tours. They do offer multiple tours so check them out!

**This is a fairly long review - but highly informative!**…read more I booked an El Yunque hike with Pandora a few months ago based on some reviews I had read - and my wife and I are glad that we did! Our driver (and owner of the company) was Eddie. I got a couple of follow up texts and emails from Eddie confirming our pick-up time and a text 20 mins before we were supposed to get picked up...gotta love that follow up! We started out for the hike about 10 mins earlier than expected. We were supplied with water, soda and fruit for the trip. Along the way, we were given a lot of information - current and historical - on the areas we were driving through and the island in general. Once we got there, we watched a video on the rainforest that really tied together the information we had received on the ride in. We then trekked it up the mountain in the van until we hit the trailhead. The hike from the La Mina trail was amazing! So many photo-ops, plus there's a waterfall (wear shoes good for hiking and water of you're going to swim). The trail was mostly down-hill and paved....but it was closed at the waterfall, so the walk back was uphill and a little rough. Don't let that deter you ....We wouldn't have traded the experience for anything! After the hike and more photos on the way down the mountain (which lasted about 90 mins total), Eddie took us over to a local eatery near the airport...the food was great and cheap (even if we got the world's worst waitress! LOL). After lunch, we headed back to the hotel. Eddie asked us what we were getting into the rest of the day, so we told him we were headed to Old San Juan for the afternoon. Eddie offered to give us a ride down there (which we gladly accepted). He allowed us time to go up to our room and change before we left. He picked it's up in his personal car and drive us over...still giving us great information about the island, and also life - advice we will surely cherish. He left us near the docks - and I must say, it was a little sad ending our time with him. It was like being with an Uncle you haven't seen in a while. He really takes care of people, and seems to genuinely enjoy what he does. He puts a lot of hard-work into perfecting his craft as an excursionist and it really shows. I know it has already been said in another review, but we honestly do feel like we have made a friend in Puerto Rico, and will definitely be calling WHEN we come back! Thank you very much for your time today, Eddie...We thoroughly enjoyed it - you made our vacation extremely memorable and special!

My wife and I researched various tours and decided that Eddie was the one because he was willing to do a private tour with just us two to the top of the rainforest and Bacardi Factory. He went out of his way to make sure we had a blast! Our morning started with him picking us up promptly at 8:00AM at our hotel. He had fresh fruits, cold water, great service, and very good conversations. The night before he made sure we had all we needed before booking with him so we were all set as soon as we jumped in the van. He told us all about El Yunque and what we would see, while taking his time driving the crazy streets of Puerto Rico. Once parked, he made sure we stretched and took a few pics of us before starting the hike. We went through the trails taking all the time we needed since it was very muddy and wet. We went all the way to the highest rock and spent a few minutes admiring the view; then we went back down to see Mt Britton. He took a bunch of great pictures of us as we went through the trails and shared them on dropbox when we were done. After El Yunque he took us to Bebo's BBQ in San Juan which was phenomenal (he said it would be)! He then took us to the Bacardi factory and patiently waited for us to take the tour, all this and it was his birthday! We had a full day with him. He showed us interesting areas of San Juan on the way back to the hotel and we couldn't be happier! Eddie is a trusted, funny, respecting, fun, and caring tour guide! So much so that I feel we must contact him next time just to say hi and have a drink even if we do not want to go on any tours. One of the best things about Eddie is that he is VERY flexible with his schedule and he will take you anywhere (that is reasonable of course). I feel he is an excellent guide and companion which is great because Puerto Rico has gotten pretty dangerous over the years and it is best to be with someone who knows the area and the history, even if you just want to be cabbed around the island. We recommend Eddie and Pandora Tours with our eyes closed! We loved our tour!

WITHOUT A PADDLE…read more Kayaking during the day proving too easy?  How about kayaking at night...through a mangrove forest. As my wife and I planned our second trip to Puerto Rico, we agreed that a bio bay kayak tour should be on the list.  Only 5 biobays exist in the world, 3 of which are in PR (in Vieques, La Parguera, and here on the far northeast corner of the island).  There's a few kayaking tour companies in the area, each offering a similar bioluminescent excursion. Hang on, biolu-what?  I'll skip the TED talk--all you need to know is that a certain kind of marine plankton makes the water in extra salty lagoons glow blue.  It's the same science that gives jellyfish, fireflies, and deep-sea anglerfish their special ability to produce light. When we arrived around 8pm, tour guides gave our group of 15-20 life vests and provided instructions, like what to do if your ass falls out of the kayak.  Our goal was Laguna Grande (literally "big lagoon"), roughly 1 mile from our starting point on the shores of Fajardo. So......getting to Laguna Grande is not easy.  Along with a partner, you'll paddle your way through a narrow channel surrounded on all sides by thick mangroves, including an overhead canopy.  This is tricky during daylight hours, but at night the difficulty ramps up.  Keep in mind that visibility in these thick mangrove patches drops to near-zero at times. You might (probably will) have to avoid other kayak groups and (possibly) motorboats as you make your way to the lagoon, all while trying not to crash into the person in front of you, fall too far behind, or be knocked unconscious/impaled by low branches.  The outbound trip was not super chill, thankfully coming back was less stressful. Having an experienced partner is CRUCIAL. Bio bay tours are very much like whale watching, in that your visit is based almost entirely on luck.  A lot needs to go right in order to see magic stuff in the water, like the moon being in its 'new' phase (full moon casts too bright of a reflection) and no recent rainfall (rain comes down as fresh water, decreasing the lagoon's salinity). Under ideal circumstances, the microorganisms appear as florescent blue swirls when you move your hand/paddle through the water.  What we saw were closer to electrical 'sparks', still cool but not vibrant.  Capturing what little bio-presence we saw on camera would've been impossible, so we smartly kept our phones in the car. Oddly enough, mosquitos weren't a problem. * TL;DR * For me, this was more about the journey than the destination. If I'd hung all of my hopes on seeing tons of bioluminescent activity, I would've been disappointed.  I was focused more on trying not to capsize while also listening to the symphony of 'coqui' (the local island tree frog). It can be romantic with a spouse/partner, assuming they're not yelling at you the whole time. Wear comfy clothes (swim trunks aren't a bad idea) and be aware that parts of your outfit will be crunchy the next day, due to the lagoon water being twice as salty as the ocean. Mangroves play a critical role in the tropical ecosystem, but they stink! Would definitely recommend this to anyone over the age of 18; it's an awesome late-night adventure and one of the most unique things you can do while in Puerto Rico.

If you're traveling to Puerto Rico, BOOK KEITH AND HIS TEAM--NO QUESTION!…read more Keith and his team at Luquillo Beach Taxi were the reason our entire bachelorette trip was beyond spectacular. With a group of 10 girls, our biggest concern was finding reliable transportation, especially since Ubers are not easy to come by in Luquillo Beach. Thank goodness we met Keith on our first night--seriously, we all agreed he was sent from above! From the start, Keith went above and beyond to accommodate us. He was there for every single ride we needed, always on time, professional, and incredibly personable. But beyond that, he brought the energy, the laughs, the best music and the best vibes! He wasn't just a driver--he became a true friend to all of us. Keith made sure we felt safe, cared for, and stress-free the entire trip. He had the best recommendations, helped us plan our outings, and even surprised us with Puerto Rican souvenirs we'll cherish forever!! He even handled our chaotic airport departures--everyone had different flight times, one friend's flight was delayed until 4 AM, and Keith still showed up with a smile, ready to take her 30+ minutes back to our Airbnb. This man is a legend. If you want a seamless, fun, and truly blissful experience in PR, Keith is your guy. We love you, Keith--we'll be back!!!
