I didn't receive an update about the dress until may 10th JUST for them to say that there's a delay and push back the day i get my dress to May 19th, THREE DAYS before my prom day. On May 19th the appointment for me to come was scheduled at 4, then they called AGAIN to push the time for me to come to 6:45 pm. Upon arrival at 6:45 the girl at the desk already had a shady attitude, they then tell us to give them a second that they're going in the back to get it. They didn't come out until an hour later at 7:50pm, at this point the store is closed and everything since 7:30pm. When they brought the dress out, it was a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT dress from what was ordered. I ordered a sliver/nude bling dress that they had on display at the front of the store that cost around 1,800 dollars, and the dress they brought out was completely different from the one they have on displayed. It wasn't nude, it was brown. We even paid for extra embellishments around the corset and it was completely different from the embellishments on the dress originally. The material was cheap, the tailoring was horrible, everything was just all around disgusting, and now i'm left without a dress and my prom is in 3 days. and the CHERRY on top, the people were so rude and had a horrible attitude and even slammed the door in our faces when we were mentioning the complete differences in the dress that was advertised. they shouldn't have taken on more than what they could've managed. this boutique needs to go out of business IMMEDIATELY. For your own good, DO NOT GO HERE i'm begging you to please not go here. I'm even going to make a separate review with the pictures of what they advertised and what i got. Shouldve known how shady this was when they said they only take cash. I was referred to this boutique by one of my best friends, and she said I wouldn't have to look any further. I walked in and had the warmest greetings. I described exactly what I was looking for and what the theme of my party was and they made suggestions but ultimately they ended up making a custom dress for me that was completed in two days.!!!!! Two days for a completely custom dress that matched the theme of my birthday perfectly they really came through in the clutch and the quality of the dresses were out of control! From the customer service to the quality of the clothing and the cleanliness of the boutique I was so happy to become one of her lifelong clients!

The dressing rooms are a bit small, with mirrors outside of the door. Don't you hate when they do that to you, forcing you to come outside to take a look? Oh well. My review comes from going to this store location for years and after shopping at several of their locations including those in Puerto Rico. This Rainbow gets 5 stars from me because it checks all the boxes. First this store is HUGE. Even though it is huge everything is on the same floor so you are not going to different areas or floors to find stuff which is great for those who are handicap. So much space to walk around and so much fashion to select from. The countless times I shopped at this Rainbow I have found so many stylish and beautiful fashion pieces from dresses to tops to shoes-I have found it all in one store. If you are looking for women's clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry you will find these things here. Everything they have in the store is affordable and trendy. The customer service was never a problem for me, but then again whenever I went into the store my primary purpose was to buy fashion and my focus was on that. I already have a reception dress but wanted to pick up a back up since I don't love my dresses fit now that I've lost a bit of weight. I let the owner know that my wedding dress was the same brand as my prior reception dress and that I bought it while I was travelling abroad- which fortunately had brought down the price significantly. After mentioning this to the owner she asked me the price of my reception dress which I thought was odd... She then proceeded to spend the next 10 minutes berating me, my reception dress as well as my taste in clothing. She implied that I was lying, called my reception dress cheap and suggested that at that price point it must be used (which is completely untrue). I have never felt so attacked during a retail experience. I try to avoid conflict- so I assumed that this was just a simple misunderstanding and that she might think that I was seeking a discount- so I explained to her I was happy to pay the sticker price on her dresses if I liked one. However, she kept going... She finally paused for a breath after about another 5 minutes and I asked if she could focus on helping me find a new reception dress rather than attacking a reception dress that she had never seen. She then got very confrontational and explained that she was trying to "teach me a lesson" on how to shop and told me if I didn't want to hear her out I could go elsewhere- which I gladly did. I have never never felt so offended. I literally went out of my way and took the 1 train about an hour north of where I live in midtown to check this place out. Her prices are much lower than the shops in my area since she's all the way uptown (almost in the Bronx) and significantly below my budget - but I guess the saying is true... you get what you pay for. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or she this is just how she is- however I would avoid this store at all costs.
