The restaurant is filled with towels and random hotel accessories. The halls are dirty and hot. The 'breakfast' is Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, dry cereal and coffee. Nothing else. Our room was stale and hot and was probably nice when it was renovated 10 years ago. The bathroom had no exhaust, and a mini toilet. The a/c worked and were fine (there's a Kwik Trip nearby) but it was NOT what it's advertised as.

We got the exact campsite that he told us we would he also is the bar manager and bartender. We stopped in after we got set up and had a couple drinks. Everybody in there was local and friendly. It's a cute little bar we like that atmosphere. The drinks were totally reasonable. They have a happy hour and that's at the time we were there. The campground has everything that you would want. They also have a beautiful pool. It is sparkling clean it is wonderful. We had a few sunshiny days and everybody was having a good time. It is small but that's good. I think with the campground I don't like the great big giant 500 spot campsites if you're looking to come this way this would be a wonderful place to camp.

We found this place after another hotel was full, and the owner mentioned that his friend had just renovated it. The price was right and the guy on the phone sounded adorable, so we booked. - Price: Amazing! $60 per night for a place that's much cozier and better-kept than what you would usually pay $60 for. - Owner: Adorable older man, extremely nice. - Location: A bit out of the way (30 minutes north of the Dells) but right near the lake. The place is on a residential street, and laid out like a standard motel with all doors facing the street. We ended up liking the fact that staying up here let us enjoy a lot more of the lake than we would have if we stayed in downtown dells. - Ambiance: Our room had a kitchenette and couch, which was great for hanging out with friends and playing games. The kitchen was stocked with classes, bottle openers, utensils, etc. - Bed: I slept extremely well. One con: There seemed to be sand on the floor (had to keep wiping my feet off). Make sure to vaccuum this place before new guests come! Overall, for a budget weekend trip we were not disappointed at all. The price is on point for what you get.
