On July 3, 2025--well over three months before the date--we informed them in writing that we had to cancel due to personal circumstances and asked to discuss a fair, partial refund since there was still plenty of time to rebook the date. After that message, we never heard from anyone again. No follow-up call, no acknowledgment of the situation--complete silence. Keeping a full $3,400 while refusing to even reply is unacceptable business practice. If you're a couple researching venues, be very cautious. Verify every refund and cancellation term in writing and assume that once Angel Springs has your deposit, you may never hear from them again if things change. The property is beautiful, but the way they treat customers is not.

We had our wedding there in March and it was truly the best day of my life. The property is filled beautiful old trees, white fences, fields and log cabins. The ceremony and reception space was dreamy! The ceremony overlooks a beautiful field surrounded by these same old and winding trees. The sun sets over this field and creates an ideal setting for stunning photography. The event space has amazing stone walls with vines growing around the outside and stunning chandeliers inside. Natalie runs the space and was our day of coordinator. She was the best decision we made! She is kind, patient, and gets things done swiftly and with grace. I would recommend this place highly for a wedding or any event.

Site 5 is absolutely the best site with direct views of the water but 6/7 (right next to one another so good for groups) and 8 are all lovely sites. Good tree cover and you can take the small trail down to the water for swimming/fishing. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table and lots of flat land for tents. For the hotel/restaurant, we stayed in K1 which has direct views of the water. These are not fancy rooms (no tvs or fancy furniture) but it was so relaxing and beautiful. The restaurant is good with a full bar and beautiful lake views.

My cousin and I needed a quick getaway to reset and relax and this was just the vibe we needed. We drove in from Austin which took about an hour but we stopped at the HEB 20 minutes out to stock up. Be sure to follow the directions given to locate your glamping dome. We actually only spent one night but it was so comfortable and clean and very welcoming. They provide the basic necessities for showering and even big spray. The hot tube was a perfect way to melt away the stress of the week. Highly recommend the experience. I'd love to go back again.

There are some spots of the location that are spotty in service but you are basically camping so that's somewhat expected though they do have wifi you can connect to! From my experience there wasn't a physical desk or reception desk to check-in so you would have to contact the hotel by call or text where they provide the information to you. I will mention that I thoroughly appreciate their customer service through text when we needed something or asked for clarity. Incredibly attentive and so helpful! Really made the experience memorable because of it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the lookout, the games, plenty of seating, private chairs/hammock, activities around, personal space of acres, etc. We would absolutely will come back again! One thing to note: There were a lot of trails which we LOVE so many ways to explore but some of the trails aren't marked or have markings/on the map so it wasn't clear if it was meant to be walked through

Fall is hands-down the most magical time to visit, leaves fall like glitter, and the lake views are serene. Bonus magic? Bret, the property manager, who also is Santa for Christmas and is one of the kindest human beings ever. Only in Kingsland! Located right next to Hooper's (yep, that house from Texas Chainsaw Massacre - now a great spot for comfort food and drinks), plus Junction Steakhouse across the way. When you rent out Reunion Ranch (the outside grounds..a whole bunch of acres :) you have the entire place to yourself w/ access to over 41 activities..let me repeat that..YES, 41 activities!! There really was something for everyone one to enjoy..from the babies to the grown peeps! And the Reunion Ranch staff are so organized & kept things flowing so smoothly..even with over 400 attendees! I also really liked how the RR staff would announce over the loud speaker what activity was about to start. Activities Reunion Ranch offered: -tug of war mud pit..yes, complete with a real MUD PIT!! -volleyball courts -canoe & paddle boats -man made little sand beach -maze -horse shoes & washers -miniature golf -zip line -wagon rides -pony rides -obstacle course -teen tower -dunking booth ect ect ect And so many more activities but tooooo many to name & I'm not trying to get carpal tunnel ;) Another thing I give kudos to Reunion Ranch is the food serving line..they have about 6 different serving lines w/ RR staff making the plates & even w/ over 400 people in attendance the wait time was super fast. We had all you can eat barbecue plates & all you can eat Bluebell ice cream cups! There also was cotton candy, popcorn, & snow-cones for everyone to enjoy & for us adults..the libations offered were...sangrias, beer, & wine!! I was a regular at the sangria station!! ;) Reunion Ranch really is a cool place to have a team building event, reunion, or a wedding. The Saffron unit was comfortable - nice bedding, good ac, and as weird as the pictures suggest. However, the whole property was fairly run down with ceilings with obvious water damage, wavy floors, and cabinets that have seen better days. Not having staff onsite was an issue our second night as the other guests decided to throw some sort of redneck pool party until midnight and we had no way to contact staff for help. Overall, it is fine if you have to be in Liberty Hill.
