The venue is under new ownership now but I had worked with Benita throughout my planning and she has been amazing throughout the whole process. I also added on day of coordinator service and Benita took care of all the details so that I can relax and enjoy my wedding. Out of all the venues I looked at, The Terrace was the most affordable for my budget and I didn't need to worry about table or chair rentals. They have a kitchen, walk-in fridge, and regular freezer so you have access to set-up in the back or early off of supplies. It was also a great help that they had some decors available, so I didn't have to worry about spending extra for this. Overall, I really liked the space and how convenient it was to have the ceremony and reception in one location. There is a room where you can get ready or hang out before the wedding, but the lighting is pretty dim. Venue is about a 45 minute drive from Austin, but the drive is scenic and nice. A big thank you also to Kristi and James for helping setting up, cleaning up, and picking up the catering for my wedding.

BUT, everything goes down hill when the food and and servers are horrible. The food super cold and the servers were cold as well. Servers didn't pick up salad plates when serving entrees. They just told us to put it aside or they put entree plate on top of dirty plate. This type of service ruins your upscale venue. All of our food was cold, the chicken, veggies and bread were iced cold. I wouldn't do an event here knowing how it is. The only positive besides view and location was the bartender. Lori was amazing and very serviceable. Her attitude and customer service was on point. But for sure. I works recommend this place unless is just for pictures.

The venue, has nested itself in the heart of Spicewood just down from the Post Office and Krause Springs. I say "nested" because it feels as if they'd need decades create the cozy nostalgic sense you get even as it comes into view from turning the corner in your car ... and even more so once inside and processing the endless vintage/retro decorations that, i believe, make up the bones of this place. It's an atmosphere that, quite honestly, could be used for a movie set in the 1940's or 50's! Everywhere you look and sit. That Joint in Spicewood, as an event venue, is perfect for birthdays, anniversary parties, weddings and even bachelor / bachelorette parties. The night i went they offered a singer/songwriter experience welcome to all that may want to listen or even partake in the music making themselves. It took time to process who was family or patrons, like me... only to find out we were all mostly strangers and had just got along so well with the vibe they set that it all felt like somehow half should be family. A strange welcoming vibe I don't experience often. I like it. Fact is, That Joint... feels open and welcoming on any day, actually. I've passed by on my bike many times just to look at all the cool stuff and have even walked up and poked around out of curiosity only to be greeted by the owners. Great people and great venue for darts, shuffleboard or a step back to your childhood with all the things to look at. Give it a visit! Planned or unplanned. It's the most welcoming place I've been to since moving to Spicewood.

Our dream venue!! I first fell in love with Woodbine Mansion when I stumbled upon it on Pinterest,…read moreso once I got engaged it was the first venue on my list to tour. After the tour, I just knew that it was where my husband and I had to get married! Leading up to the wedding day, the team at Woodbine was very responsive and easy to work with when I had any questions. The getting ready space is absolutely stunning and it's nice to have a very clear separation of the bride and groom getting ready spaces so we didn't have any accidental run ins with eachother during the day. I loved being able to have distinct areas for each part of our wedding, with the ceremony being held on the front lawn, cocktail hour inside the mansion (although it ended up being a beautiful day outside so our guests opted to be outside), and then the beautiful clear top tent for our reception. We had a blue and white theme to our wedding, which the decor in the mansion perfectly complemented. The tables and chairs that woodbine has included are also great, there was no need to rent additional ones.

My son and daughter-in-law's wedding was absolutely gorgeous. People wondered throughout the bottom portion of the mansion for hors d'oeuvres and cocktail hour then the ceremony took place in front of the mansion outside and then the reception portion took place under a beautiful tent with lights on the side of the mansion. Julie manages the Mansion and she's an absolute pleasure to work with. The photographers that they hired were the best and took the most beautiful photos. The food that they had catered at the Mansion was just absolutely delicious, especially the mushroom empanadas. The DJ was the chief of police and he was very good at DJing - everyone had a great time! These recommendations I've made, I believe came from Julie as well. I highly recommend these ones that I've listed!!!! Thank you for such a beautiful place for our family to enjoy the wedding!

For something more modern, you could decorate very effectively to suit your own needs. Recently we needed to host a hundred or more persons for a special sports event. We were able to utilize the vast seating area, the kitchen and the parking with no concerns. They are conveniently located to Old Settlers Park where we had our players at, so they could simply come over afterwards (or before hand) when we needed them to. Overall, a good general purpose facility for our needs and probably good for yours as well.

The ceremony space with the views, structure and what will be is breathtaking... we can't wait to see it completed! They've even designed a really cool indoor & outdoor bar area so the bartending team doesn't have to set up and breakdown stations... it allows for easy access during cocktail and/or dinner. How cool is that?!?! The reception hall is simply lovely with design, color and lighting. It's elegant and can be dressed up to any vision of those hosting their event at Hill Country Bliss Wedding & Events Venue. We've gotten to know the owners during their building process, seen the venue develop and simply cannot wait to begin collaborating with the venue team on future events. They'll provide the venue space of your dreams and we'll (Groove Line Productions) will provide the music and lighting! Oh and not to mention, they've even thought of the vendor team needs for load in/out, equipment storage, break area and parking! Simply thoughtful from every level of design. We're excited to celebrate grand opening day and making forever memories with Hill Country Bliss Wedding & Events Venue! We recommend touring this venue when making the decision for your event space and imagining what your day would be like here!
